The misterious Person

William decided to go to the military to ask for help first, and then go back to the inn to try to become a poison cultivator. This was the safest route he thought of. He didn't want to involve the military but he had no choice. The military was one of the forces that surpressed normal people the most. The more he worked with them the more difficult it would be for him to betray them later on, but sadly he had currently no choice but to ask them for help.

He walked outside the inn and started to walk towards the direction of the military headquarters. He hoped they would find a way to help him. If not he was really gonna die, with his cultivation experience it would be almost impossible to become a poison cultivator. After all he would've need to be able to absorb the poison in his body and transform it into poison chi.

But then he saw a weird boy staring at him. He looked extremely weird, or rather William wasn't sure if the boy had a body. He felt like he could see the boy, but even while looking at him It's like watching a dream it was there but also not there.

William wasn't even sure if it was a boy at this points. Sometimes the person would give of the feeling of an old man and the next minute the feeling that it was a toddler. Sometimes it would also give off a little girl's aura, it was very confusing. Without paying attention William had already stared at the weird person for over 20 minutes. He just couldn't look away he was completely caged in trying to figure out what he was seeing.

Somewhere far far away

The devil tried seeing what happened to William, but he couldn't. Someone was purposely blocking the connection that the devil tried to build towards William. That was a scary moment for the devil he felt like he was losing control over the situation.

He had high hopes for this experiment with William and he didn't want to abandon it, so he kept trying to use his powers to build a connection towards William. But whatever he tried it failed, he couldn't see what was happening to William right now.

Back to forest town

The person walked towards William at least that was what William thought the person did, but every movement of the person made no sense. It felt like the person was coming closer while walking away from him. He knew at this moment that he met something, that probably shouldn't exist. But it was too late the person or creature was already standing in front of William. Atleast this was what his senses told him, his eyes told him that the person was far far away.

It was the weirdest situation William had ever felt but hesitantly William said „hi" this was the most he could come up with right now. He simply was too dumbfounded about what he was feeling and seeing.

The person didn't answer, and William was kinda happy about that he didn't want to know how the voice of the person would sound like, but the he felt a hand touching him and it was the weirdest feeling William ever felt. His senses told him in one moment that it was a toddlers hand, in the next that it was a giants hand and even that it was the mouth of a lion. All those weird feelings kept changing without any order or way to identify what was real.

But at the next moment William couldn't think about any of that anymore. He felt how the poison in his body moved, it started fully fusing with his body and became one with it. William wasn't sure what the person was doing but he had the feeling that it was something beneficial to him. So he just stood there and waited for the changes to stop.

And soon they really did stop, William felt a lot better suddenly, but the person was suddenly gone. He had no idea were it went, but he was very thankful towards it. His problems had been solved just like that. It was amazing, But he soon realized that he was holding a book in his hand and the contents of the book shocked him.

He also realized that time didn't move while he had the encounter with the person. Atleast 30 minutes passed but all the people on the street even the ones that were walking had the exact same position as before. William realized that he must have been so distracted by the weirdness of the person that he didn't realize that no one was moving. It was a very scary thought, how powerful was the person that he just met???
