Luckily the assassin girl wouldn't be able to attack him before he was back in the other world. He couldn't die in the other world, so it was just perfect. But he has to be more careful when he is in the "real" word, otherwise he might not survive the next time.
But he wondered would he have survived this assassination if he wasn't saved by that person. It was a complicated question, but William wanted to know if his original fate was to die there. But no matter how much he thought, he just couldn't come up with an answer.
After a while he finally gave up on the thought. He shouldn't question things that were out of his reach. He survived, meaning that that was his fate. Whether he would have survived under normal circumstances or not didn't matter to him. He should just concentrate on what he wants to do with his life now that he survived.
After resting for the night he went outside the inn and started searching for a shop that sold poisons. After a while he finally found a shop that sold medicine ,this medicine Shop also had weak poisons. William immediately bought a bunch of sleeping medicine, it wasn't deadly but still very useful in a fight. He would also have to put himself in a safe location if he started training with sleeping medicine.
It was the perfect way for William to start his training, no risks but huge gain. It was exactly what everybody dreamed off when cultivating. After all there was nothing better then being able to get stronger without having to risk anything.
He finally arrived back at the inn and there he immediately started to absorb the sleeping medicine. He could feel how his poisonous body became stronger, but he got a bit tired because of the sleeping medicine. But he had to power through it, or how would he later train when he was using dangerous poisons and a lot could go wrong if he lost consciousness while cultivating. That's why he had to be careful.
He trained daily, and he improved even faster then he thought he would. But he also noticed the problems of the poisonous body. When he accidentally touched the owner of the inn she immediately fell asleep. She was an old woman and the only person working in the inn. So she was definitely not strong and never did martial arts, but still for her to fall asleep when he just accidentally touched her?
It seemed like the drawback of the poisonous body was that it wasn't controllable. Everything he touched would immediately get attacked by his poisons. It would be useful for fights but very bad for him if he ever planned to have a normal life, but atleast he knew know about it so he could be careful to never touch people and to make sure that no more accidents like this happened, so William bought himself a pair of gloves.
People would only get affected by the poison if they touched his body directly, so the gloves helped a lot. Without them it would have been difficult to do anything in the future, but luckily he was smart enough to think about a pair of gloves.
