Maids and the butler gathered at the front entrance, greeting Nesryn's parents politely and respectfully before taking their things. The couple had wanted to explore New York and were planning to stay in a hotel but Nesryn insisted that they stay with her and Azriel, to save up money and they could buy more things to take home with the money.

Kathleen and Alexis didn't argue against that and followed their daughter as they ascended the grand staircase. She led them to the west wing where the family rooms were located, helping them settle down in their rooms. Alexis had wanted to help the maids as they arranged their things in the room, hanging up their clothes for their three days stay but they just politely refused their help, Nesryn had also told them how she gave up in convincing them to let her help.
