The wrong guesses

Liam saw the silhouette of an old woman knocking on the door.

Liam said with his eye closed tightly, "No. You aren't my grandmother." He was sure that it wasn't his grandmother.

"Grandmother will never wake me up from my sleep.

She also doesn't like it when I get scared." He continued with his voice cracking and shaking.

Liam immediately turned his whole body away from the window and looked at the door, waiting for the right time to run away, but his body was stiff and rigid, and he felt like he was stuck on the edge of the bed in fright.

The eerie voice started giggling with pleasure looking at his hopeless state.

The giggle started from a slight snicker that started getting darker and louder as each minute passed.

There was nothing scarier than these high pitched giggles.

Liam wasn't pleased to hear the scary giggle.

He closed his ears and eyes tightly and finally broke down into loud sobs.
