Finding Them

Doxin wrapped the cloth around his leg. "Well, I see you're of a certain class," Mrs. Davis said. "And please, call me Jenora." He nodded and got up.

"Do you happen to know where they're taking Jacques?"

"They're gonna take him to a lab to sedate him. They did that with most criminals back then."

"Well, let's not waste anytime."

The two rescuers laid by the side of the door with their pistols plugged on their hands. Jenora got the key and unlocked the revolving barrier from the entrance of the room. "Let's go," she hushed.

It was more stairs but the room was with guards from around and a kitchen by the side. There was black and white tile floor and the walls were tan. One guard was talking with a man with a suit with a dark brown beard. "Well, we successfully got the boy."

"Which boy?" the suited man asked, with a pleasant tone. "Owen Davis, we're still trying to get the password out of him."

The man patted the guard. "I'm pretty sure that the colonel would be pleased." Jenora's face began to mold into a furious appearance as she faced her gun at the guard's head. "Hey, stop!" Doxin whispered. "You're gonna blow us."

Jenora put down her weapon and sighed. She was very mad that they kidnapped her own son, which was innocent of everything.

"We also got that French dude too."

"Very good, my son hated him. But they're very intelligent."

"We're gonna sedate him in five hours just for everything to warm up."

The man nodded very silently. *Ring* He picked up his phone. "This is Senior Mr. Mane," he said as an introduction. "Okay." Senior Mr. Mane got up. "Get the boy," he ordered.

The guards stood up from their feet. "Oh no, my son," Jenora rasped with tears cracking her voice. Doxin brought out his SMB and fired.

Guards ducked behind soft chairs which made punctured holes. He rammed through the place and things came up. Guards revealing from their cover tried to shoot at them. "I'll get up close, you shoot from there!" Jenora planned.

*Ka-tak*

She went to a masked guard and gave a hard hook punch, then she gave a side kick. The guard crashed into a table and flipped upside down to the chair.

*Crash*

A masked soldier fired his rifle. Jenora rolled and slid under tables. "Get that woman!" he shouted. She axed and kicked many soldiers, putting them in the dirt. "Kill her!" the man shouted.

Owen looked around and saw the covered face of Mr. Scam. He knew that he was smirking with a wider view of his cheeks. "Well, you managed to escape me apparently," he said observing his Beretta M9. "But, look at you now. Still in the hands of me." Owen growled. "You'll never get the password out of me!" Mr. Scam shook his head.

"I thought I would've been best to kill you, but I guess I could use your—father." Masked guards dragged Dad to the dead white floor. His shirt was old and holey, and his face was covered with dirt. Mr. Scam faced the gun.

"Give me the password, and your father lives."

"No!" Owen said, with a shake in his voice.

"I don't know why you guys need the money, aren't you guys fine on your own?" Owen said with dull tears coming out from his eyes.

*Click*

"Fine, I'll give it to you."

Mr. Scam backed away in pleasure and turned his seat motively to him. "Guards!" Three masked men came, standing by him. "Make sure to record this," he said rubbing his hands together with a sly smirk. As ordered, they put him up front a little tablet. "Speak into this," the guard ordered.

"9087234."

The tablet was, in fact, a recorder and as all recorders do—they record your voice. "Let's get the money," the guard by Mr. Scam rejoiced.

"No, we must be silent until they get out." *Ring* With an annoyed tempt, he picked it up. "What is it?" His eyes bolted with surprise. "She—get all guards to per her down, now!"

The soldiers looked at him, wondering what happened. "What happened, sir?" one of them humbly asked. "It's Mrs. Davis. She's still alive!" he shouted as he walked away to the megaphone.

"Attention, all people, there are two enemies here. Mrs. Davis and Detective Doxin. Bring them to me immediately." Doxin looked at Jenora with a worried attempt. "Let's go there," she said as she looked at the door to the right. They moved there as fast as bunnies. "Move, move come on!" he shouted.

Behind the door was an elevator, which was weird at that time. They went in and the pulley dropped them down to a mysterious room—light of a furnace, stairs of death, and many guards that were rising up. "Oh, sh—" *Grrrrrrr* "Get down!" Jenora cried as she covered herself in a ball. In a fast paced idea, she shouted through the sound of the raging rifle.

She grabbed the gun and fired it. *Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr* Many men started rolling down stars and flipping over them. *Thud* She looked to her side and saw more masked associates coming from the balcony. "Stay here," she ordered, dumping the SMB gun into his hands.

She gave a turning kick and twirled, taking out two guards. One of them fell over and kept falling until there was an end. Rifles kept reporting, following behind Jenora. A soldier hit her and kicked between her chest. She blocked a hit and elbowed him. With an outstanding cartwheel, she clobbered the man.

*Boom* She fired her pistol and men fell hitting their heads like blasted oranges. Doxin looked left and right for many people. "We're all clear," he said using a thumbs up. Jenora nodded and they moved to the third door—with many more doors. "Is this place all about confusion?" Doxin spoke, wiping the sweat of his face.

"I check here, you go there."

They both went their ways—leaving Jenora to the right and Doxin to the left.

Doxin ran through many doors which led to many doors. He ran around the hall with concern, but it led to nowhere. "Come, on! This isn't the time!" he shouted. Door through door meant more doubt. But then, he went through one door and saw a chair with a note. For everything that happened in this mission, almost anything could happen.

He picked up the note as it gazed upon him. Srehtaf eht ot Thead. Doxin nodded with a sign of relief. But, why would they leave a random sign on a chair? He moved the chair and there was a foot recognizer. It was quite obvious that you need a guard for that, but there was none nearby. He smashed the thing and down there was a black place full of masked soldiers and Jacques.

Jenora:

Jenora kept her pistol out to make sure if there were any random associates. She went to a door, and it was just like other doors. She was losing faith. She stood by the hallway as she heard some footsteps. It sounded like two or more guards coming her way. And it was actually—three. They had automatic rifles on their hands. They had a mask around them and had a lot of armor. "Honestly, how do they even keep coming?" one of them asked.

The other one in front of them had a very rugged voice. "Mr. Scam likes to think of them as very smart people—the first time he ever thought of an opponent as smart." They had a dry laugh. "Well, let's get back to finding those intruders."

Jenora immediately had a fire on a man's head. The others gasped in horror. "What the! Who's there?" The man looked around until he reached her. "Well, well, well," he said with a smile that'd haunt you for years. He brought out one of the most dangerous pistols in the world. The RSR pistol faced at her throat, and Jenora's mouth opened as she saw the pistol faced at her.

"Sh—" She rolled as he missed the shot.

*Wak-boff*

Men fell and hit the walls. Rifles reported, perforating the walls and doors of the rooms. Jenora lifted her knee and gave a turning kick to a soldier. He collided with a door and broke through.

*Crash*

The man blew Jenora and blocked a light attack from her. He grabbed her arm and pinned it down to the floor. In a blink of an eye, Jenora saw blood fly from her face. She fell and felt throbbing pain.
