Preparations of Alex

---- 30. September 1990 Lake House, London ----

In a relatively big house compared to other houses in the middle of London. On the second floor in the middle of a working space said Alex behind a writing desk. On top of the desk were many papers laying down. Sometimes you could hear Alex talking and cursing someone. Right next to him stood an older looking man. He sometimes took a few of the papers sorted them and placed a new one on the desk.

"Edward, how did you deal with all this. And how did you hide it from your family that you are part of the Lake family" The man smiled at Alex and said "Well you are the one who made me your adviser? It was also your request to get Information for all Magic-Britan. I still remember when I presented your request. You are the first one that made such a request." Edward started to laugh when he remembered the faces. Alex just signed and started to speak: "Well I at least have a general grasp of Wizard Britan. In Briton alone, there are 3 Million Wizards that about 7% of the normal Britan population. And each year almost eight-thousand new Wizards are Born. Hogwarts can only house about two-thousand-five-hundred students. The rest goes to not so prominent schools.

"Hello, Aunt Alexandra" he greeted her with a tired smile. The revelations of the last few months tired Alex extremely. His aunt seemed to understand his thoughts as she replied: " Hello again Alex. I admit that it might be hard to understand everything, but you don´t have to worry that much. There is still time and the whole Family is teaching you. I must say I am impressed that you choose Edward Tonks as your adviser. An excellent choice." She then started to take a stack of papers and started to flick through them. She raised and Eyebrow and asked: Why are you learning about Purebloods and there Power. Alex smiled: Its because I wanted to know where stand on the power scale. And I must say we are more powerful than expected.

Suddenly a burst of yellow flashes in the room. After a while where the flashes were now stood a yellow eagle. He was now almost as big as an owl. In his mouth was a Letter. Alex quickly stood up and put the Letter in his pockets. He then turned towards his Aunt before she could ask "Did you come to inform me about tonight's ball?" His Aunt saw right through the distraction but didn´t mind it. She nodded and spoke: "Yes you should be ready In one hour. It was decided that I am going to accompany you, but I will not interfere with anything you do.

With that, his Aunt turned around. After awhile Edward turned around towards and said: "You can´t hide these letters forever, You know that." Alex just stood up and said: "I know Edwards, You can finish these papers for me and write a summary ." Alex was never petty, but he could get used to the faces people make when he is.

One hour later Alex was standing downstairs. His Aunt wore typical Muggle clothes. Over the last month, Alex experienced many changes from saying Non-Magic to Muggle. "Why are we wearing Muggle clothes when we are going to a magic ball," asked Alex with slight amusement that he would not have to wear clothes from the last century. Frank answered: "We are a Wizzard family, but never forget that there is another side of the family. And the never forget every clothes are enchanted. You could take your shirt and go to war with it. Our clothes have magic and physical absorption." Now that Alex thought about it. It made sense.

From behind Alexandra suddenly said: "Its time. Alex shows them. Remember our family stands for "Family over everything. Prove yourself. Never stop improving." That's what are our family stands for. Never forget that.

---- 30. September 1990 Castle of Merlin----

The Castle of Merlin is an old stone castle. It's where almost all Important invents take place. Right now the castle was lit. Sometimes a faint gree light would flick withing the windows of the castle. The cold wind blowing through the grass in front of the castle carried faint whispers that would chill the living. Outside you could see many Guards.

At one of the fireplaces, a green flame came to existence. Out of the Fireplace came two People. His aunt and he stood there. As if he and his aunt were Animals in a zoo Everybody turned towards them.

Alex could instantly recognize most of the prominent reports he remembered. Most of the Pureblood family recognized his Aunt, but then he was an enigma. A guard stepped forward and asked with clear disgust in his voice: "What are you doing here. This is a ball of importance. What are you two Muggle-born doing here?" Alex could swear the man wanted to say Mudblood.

All Person now turned towards the show that was happening. Meanwhile, the people who recognized Alexandra could only shake their heads. The people who didn´t know Alexandra started to whisper. Alex could hear them talking about them. His Aunt decided to step forward handed the Guard and said with a neutral voice: Alexandra Lake and her nephew Alexander Charles Lake.

Before the guard could answer again. Someone from behind spoke: "Alexandra good to see you again. I never thought I would see you here."
