The Sneak and the Mountains

Chapter 24:

Gatekeeper: "Where do you think you are going?"

Sota: "I just want to go to the mountains…"

Gatekeeper: "To enter or leave the Grasslands you need either passport or ID; driving license also works."

Sota: "Okay… what happens if you don't have any of those?"

Gatekeeper: "You can't go… Wait I've seen you before."

Sota: "Must be mistaken."

Gatekeeper: "No definitely not. I know I've seen you on TV!"

Sota: "Sorry I have to go."

Gatekeeper: "You're the one that killed some kids at school! WAIT"

*Running*

Gatekeeper: "I'M CALLING THE POLICE!"

…

Sota: "This lake… on the other side should be the mountains but its too large to swim. From what I know about my ability I should be able to walk over water… Let me try." *Focusing*

<> Sota is very talented naturally so he quickly picked up that he can walk over water and how to do it.

(Note: The mountainous region is composed of various indigenous tribes which have very different traditions, not at all similar to the Grasslands. The way they speak is also distinct, like as if they had a stronger accent.)

*Sota arrives at the mountains*

Sota: "Woah this place is strange but seems pretty cool"

Tribal: "WHO ARE YOU?"

Sota: "I'm Sota! I come in peace!"

Tribals: "Human from the grass!" *Shouting*

"Human from the grass!" *Shouting*

"Human from the grass!" *Shouting*

Sota: "What's the matter?"

Tribal: "Are you prepared to fight?"

Sota: "What?"
