Dynamite

VidBro, OriginalMagus, SwordSlasher and SaintessKatrina were all given a white mask with only a single blue line on the left side, going all the way from the top of the forehead on the left side down to the jawline.

"This is the mask signifying you are part of the upper echelons of the organisation. Although I have better masks made for each of you specifically, those are for a different purpose. Each one of those masks signifies a single seat in the upper echelons and are not to be used lightly. Furthermore, the main reason for giving you guys similar masks is to prevent the enemy from realising that you guys are continuously reviving and coming back to attack them. Therefore, try not to remove your masks at all. And remember, there will be a lot of enemies, maybe even some who are like you. However, you are different to the other 'Players'. You are the upper echelons of Cards of Destiny. You must carry the burden of this name and kill as many enemies as you can."

With that, Luke handed each one of the four players in front of him a weapon. He even gave VidBro a short-sword to protect himself. SwordSlasher received a single-edged blade which looked like a cool looking katana, while OriginalMagus received a magic wand. SaintessKatrina also received a magic wand, which would boost her healing abilities since she was following the priest pathway.

Following that, Luke continued.

"These weapons are not that important. However, I cannot afford to give an unlimited supply. Even to you. For the other 'Players', only a single weapon will be provided free of charge. After losing the first one, they will have to buy their own weapons. For you guys, I am willing to supply a total of 10 of these weapons for the time being. Try to kill as many enemies as you can, and grow as strong as you can."

"Remember, I have given you a secret weapon that COD has spent the past half a year developing in complete secret. It would be best not to tell this to the others of your kind, especially the enemies. Not until they witness the power of this secret weapon first hand"

"Remember, it would be best to use this secret weapon as late in the war as possible, since the longer the war rages on, the stronger enemies will appear. Naturally, what you have to do is to use this secret weapon when you are being overwhelmed by a large number of people, or by an incredibly strong enemy."

With those words, Luke took a step back and vanished in front of the shocked eyes of the four players.

"What is his speed? Did you record it?"

"Ah, yes! Wait!" VidBro realised that his recording had always been on and quickly rewound to the recording until just before Luke vanished.

At playing the 60 fps recording at 1 fps, they all saw the even at this slow speed, All they saw was a energy gathering towards The Sage, before he turned into the blur, leaving a trail of the same blue behind him as he moved into the centre building of the COD base, while leaving the players outside the building, with some supplies.

Included in those supplies were a really small amount explosives, and SwordSlasher was the first to notice.

There was a total of 9 weapons in each person's bags, with one in their hands, some extra provisions to prevent their hunger bar from reaching zero, a sleeping back to increase the stamina of the player, as well as 2 sticks of something that looked like dynamite.

Pulling it out, everyone understood what The Sage wanted them to do, and they were not against it at all. Taking down a horde of enemies with them, although would reduce the exp gained by 10%, would till increase their level a few times.

With this in hand, the four players contacted their respective guilds and quickly made arrangements.

They needed to get all of the players within their guild to quickly level up to be able to participate in this mission. And for that, they needed to get to the COD base.

Naturally, all four players made a mutual understanding not to leak the information of the dynamite.

Luke on the other hand was satisfied. This dynamite, although not a secret weapon, was also not something that was available to the general public like the guns.

He had spent some time and money to hire chemists intelligent enough to use the formula to produce gunpowder to create something more explosive. Naturally, he made them sign contracts on their soul for secrecy with their own life on the line.

The ting was, that he already knew that the three nations already had access to bombs like these with shirt fuses. However, they were not willing to leak information of their existence to the public this early in the battle.

Leon assumed this to be another conflict that might go on for a year or two at most, and so would not expose this 'secret' technology of explosives, while the other two notions did not want to use this technology in a battlefield, and would rather use it within the populated areas of Leon to deal the maximum damage.

This would naturally cause the war to elongate, not only due to bombs, but due to the three nations holding back on a tonne of 'secret' resources.

Luke's plan was simple. He would use the bombs to accelerate the war from all directions, speed up the war and release of 'secret' technologies, finish the war quickly, and allow Leon to not only seize control, but also settle its roots throughout the entire continent. This would allow it to be far stronger in the next Version update when the other continents closed in and joined to form Asia, in which all the countries would have just gained victory over a tyrant, suppressed a civil war, or other sort of calamity.

'Mission? Speed up the war and f*ck Roland and Islesat'

Luke smiled in his room, waiting for the explosions to go off, both literally and metaphorically.
