Revelation

"Don't you think that you're all overreacting? Because honestly speaking not even half of everyone in here knows what kind of person the warden is," my response to their reaction.

"We know who the warden is. Although not a single one of us saw his face personally, we know what his personality is. And, surprisingly, a man like the warden somehow got involved with one of the most wanted criminals in Japan. Wouldn't you also be shocked by that kind of news?" Well, they managed to elaborate what they meant by their reaction, so I'll just let it slide.

"Well, not that it matters. I don't need to tell you about how the two met. Because I have stated all the information that you need, all you need is to look for the man with a scar on his face. Although it might be understandable that you'll have a hard time figuring out who it is because we are at a prison after all," I carefully explained what their task is.

"He'll probably be wearing something different to blend in properly with the people inside the prison. However, it won't probably be an inmate's uniform. And if my theory is correct, you don't have to check places where inmates gather. Approach me in less than three days," I added to my response in which I assigned to them their duties that should be fulfilled.

After handing out their duties, I went out to put Mazuko under surveillance. Given the circumstances, I'll probably be the first one to catch them red-handed. Progress is still in the making, but why does it feel that I've been running in circles? Honestly speaking, I have spent a hefty amount of time tailing Mazuko.

No matter what kind of move I execute, it feels like someone has been manipulating my move. How come that everything flows so smoothly? Mazuko might not be intelligent, but if he once rose to the top of the chain. Then it would be natural that he feels something disrupting him. However, think about it.

Let's go back again three years ago, it's understandable that he'll leave Xavier alone because of his strong interest to make him follow. Although, as you may know, Xavier managed to refuse his offer. And from that moment onward, Mazuko left Xavier alone. According to the theory of the three possibilities that I have created, the first main reason that after three years, he still hasn't made a move on Xavier. Simply because he saw Xavier's capabilities to dethrone him.

Who would want a twenty-one-year-old kid with such skills to run around freely waiting for the right moment to attack? However, if that wasn't the case, then it's safe to believe. The second reason he still hasn't made Xavier's life miserable is that he simply doesn't care about Xavier.

Although, this reason might be a little off, considering how Xavier easily lifted a two-meter tall man with his bare hands. And last from my theories of possibility is his numerous connection to many high-ranking officials in the political institution. Fame, power, money, as per my insights, this is how the world is being manipulated. If you have one out of those three, you can now be considered influential.

Whether the retrial would be successful or not will depend on the strength of the evidence we could use. It must only be based on facts and avoid mere speculations. Using something that was only a result of rumors will only backfire on us.

"Boss, have you heard that the kid from before is gathering the other prisoners who we framed?" someone stated indistinctly near the place where I hid to perform surveillance.

"Let him be," someone responded.

When I peeked to see the two who were having a conversation near me. I saw Mazuko and one of his men who were there three years ago in the storage room.

"Boss, what do you mean? Dont you know that the punishment that will be sentenced for you will be the death penalty?"

"Let him be, because that kid has a lot of potential. There's no need to be threatened by him. I can foresee that kid would be a godfather someday. And before he reaches that status, death won't be able to pry on me."

Lost for words after hearing what Mazuko stated. What is he? A friend or an enemy? Everything is starting to confuse me because nothing makes sense. Why would someone like Mazuko be interested in Xavier's future? If what others tell him to be turned out to be the truth. Then why does it feel different? The cruelest godfather Japan has ever encountered.

"I would gladly stay in tune with the growth of that kid. Because if he ever becomes a godfather, then the mafia world will start to get messy. Think of that kid as my source of entertainment, so just let him be because I want him to be my future entertainer."

Disgusting, here I thought this bastard can somehow be kind. I'll make sure you suffer in hell. Mazuko, I won't let anything disrupt your punishment. And if I have the power to decide, I'll be honored to be the one who'll execute you. Because before I'm gone, I won't leave anyone behind that might potentially hurt Xavier.

I have nothing more to do, so maybe I should head back to Utopia and rest for a while. They might have some good news to share with me also. Also, I think I may have been confused with the law terms because we cannot file a retrial simply because the period already ended. Plus, the case is closed, but if we can present additional evidence, then we can reopen their cases.

-Back in Utopia-

Nobody is inside, I wonder why. Well, at least I can rest soundly cause no one will be able to interrupt my sleep. Kinda proud that once you give them their task, they'll actively fulfill it. Not only by themselves but also by pairs. United as one and fall as one. They accepted what consequence they might face head-on.

I wonder what would have happened if Xavier's relationship with his siblings were like this? He wouldn't have to suffer a lot of things. He'll be outside enjoying his freedom rather than staying in a place like this. And to top it all up, being unconscious in your own body. However, whether I try to fix and change everything.

Xavier will not be able to trust anyone ever again. Even if he tries to see good in people, flashbacks from the past scenarios would come and flood his mind with anger and regret. What's stopping everybody from living in a world where no dont has to suffer? Why can't everybody stop their monstrous deeds and just help each other?

"It's because the world that we know is far more complicated than what we can imagine," someone suddenly talked beside me.

"Abe! What the hell? You're like a rat who just shows out of nowhere. Plus, have I been mumbling loudly about my thoughts?" Shocked because I thought no one was around when I entered. But it turned out that Abe was here for quite a time now.

"Actually, I've been in here the whole time. You just didn't take the time to notice your surroundings. I want to apologize," Abe responded to my response.

"What are you apologizing for?" I asked because he suddenly asked for forgiveness.

"Well, I know that you haven't been sleeping well because you continuously prepare some plans for our counter. It must have been tiring you fought for us all by yourself. You only knew us in less than two months, but you have helped us more than we can imagine," I was astonished by what he's telling me.

"Although, I want you to be honest with me. When you first came here, I had this feeling that you had been hiding something. Because when I heard the rumors about an eighteen-year-old kid who made someone in the restroom terrified. I've been constantly following you, and I have noticed something from you. Three years ago, when you encountered Mazuko in his cell back in the basement of the east wing," Abe added to his response which startled me. If my guess is correct, this is where everything will be heading.

"What? What about it? Is there something wrong that I did back in the day?" I answered while I slowly stuttered.

"You tell me. What do you think is that change that I've been talking about? Because I'm sure that you know what that is," Abe replied while looking at me with sober eyes.

Does he know about Xavier having two personalities? Is that what he is referring to? How in the hell would he even know about that? I've been acting quite nicely based on how I saw what kind of personality that Xavier has. Would Abe think of me like a freak when I tell him about me being Xavier's alternate personality? Would everything stay the same for everybody if they knew about our mental problem?

"Xavier, I know what you are. You are...," Abe stated, which left me in shock.
