Chapter 3

Tessa arrived at home that late evening taking in the scent of fresh vanilla from the garden. Tessa walked to the other end of the castle toward her room even though her parent's room wasn't that far, she had to stay in her bedroom until she knew they would be down for breakfast especially face her father who's had tried to sent her off to marry a Prince whose gay.

Laila came inside through her window smiling saying,

"Glad you made it to you're Kingdom. Now when morning arrives make it known to you're parent's that you aren't marrying men in the following Kingdom's."

Tessa rolled her eyes replying,

"I already had that planned Laila."

Laila chuckled responding,

"Just checking, you will be welcome to my Kingdom very soon Princess."

Tessa raised her eyebrows replying,

"You already invited me though so now I have to wait?"

Laila nodded her head fast responding,

"My father wants to see you, tell you're father everything about these men."

Tessa sighed heavily replying,

"Father is stubborn and will most likely send me back to Kieffer's Kingdom to finish out my days there."

Laila bowed her head responding,

"I will see you soon in sleep, I have to head back to my own Kingdom. You will be able to do this."

Tessa laid silently in her bed though Laila left about twenty minutes ago. Tessa heard her father stomp past her bedroom like he always did to get everyone's attention and she's sure her mom wasn't far behind him. They were heading down to breakfast at five in the morning, she'd only been home a hour that means they might have heard her come home. She felt her tummy rumble wanting food but she had to speak with her father first and foremost.

Tessa climbed out of her bed changing out of the nightgown that she had from the night before, she knew if she wanted to talk to her father she had to dress like a Princess the way he raised her to be. Though she decided to wear a black tank top with a black mini skirt and her favorite black heels since her purple cape was left in Chirene, she grabbed her black cape that was in the back of the closet. She beamed putting it on feeling it gracefully down her legs. She placed on her dark make-up with some white face powder. Tessa rushed to the bathroom brushing her teeth and using mouthwash. Brushing her hair placing a black hand band with a bow on it.

Tessa walked to her door calmly standing in a straight posture, she opened the door as Larkin her faithful guard surprised to see her saying,

"You are home, what happened with you and Kieffer?"

Tessa patted his shoulder replying,

"He's gay so it wouldn't have worked out."

He nodded responding,

"You're needing to see your father again, am I right?"

Tessa smiled replying,

"You are correct."

He placed a hand on her lower back guiding her to the dining room instead of the throne room this time, she could have gone on her own but she liked having Larkin with her. Tessa kept taking deep breaths as they got closer to the dining room, she heard her father's voice boom in the dining room asking about her and what is the result of marriage to happen. Larkin and her paced their walk than stormed into the dining room as her father and mother stood up shocked seeing her.

King Xavier cleared his throat than spoke,

"What is the meaning of this? You are supposed to be in Chirene."

Tessa crossed her arms over her chest replying,

"Kieffer is gay and a Princess name Laila Kingston from the heaven's keeps wanting to see me in her Kingdom called Ruitha."

King Xavier slammed his fist against the table responding,

"My daughter is not going to hang out with some female."

Larkin cleared his throat himself saying,

"Sire, you didn't exactly tell your daughter when she became of age whom she be with or hang out with."

King Xavier roared in fiery replying,

"Hush, you have no say how I handle my daughter and you have already crossed bounds once."

Larkin backed away leaving Tessa feeling a deep chill. King Xavier marched over to Tessa growling fiercely again, Tessa backed up into Larkin as he held her shoulder's. Xavier grabbed Tessa by her arm, slamming her to the floor than placed a boot on her head saying,

"You are to marry a man by Spring time next year if you do not, I will taken your crown on to your sister Gracelyn whose next in line. You will not be hanging out with this Princess Laila and if I hear one more thing about Prince Kieffer being gay you will be in the dungeon."

Tessa grabbed her father by the boot making him fall to the floor replying,

"You aren't in control of what I do, I will be known as Gothic Princess from this day forward. I will have you and Deanna escorted to the dungeon by Larkin. I will have female friends and a fair life of my own from now on."

Queen Deanna shrieked loudly seeing both her husband and daughter in a fight as Gracelyn came through the doors watching the scene. Gracelyn Hyland is a beautiful brunette with tight curls, brown eyes, pearl white skin, four feet two inches, and fifty-six pounds, wearing a light purple dress with white heels being only seven years old, her last name is different she is a adopted Princess technically by law she isn't allowed to be Queen due to being adopted. Gracelyn stomped her foot on the ground saying,

"Daddy, Sissy STOP!"

Xavier and Tessa looked at Gracelyn releasing one another. Tessa stepped back from Xavier and Xavier stood stiffly. Gracelyn walked over to Tessa than grabbed hold of her hand saying,

"I want my sister to take on the Kingdom since it is in her future too. I am much too young too and I will want to marry some day to a wonderful man or lady."

Xavier became in more infuriated replying,

"I will not have lesbian daughter's in this Kingdom."

Tessa shook her head back and forth responding,

"I never said I was lesbian and neither did Gracelyn. We want to meet other Princesses that shouldn't be to much to ask and I am in charge of this Kingdom. Guards take Xavier and Deanna to the dungeon's for punishments they are no longer in charge."

Guards came and grabbed them both hearing Deanna wept in tears beginning Tessa to change her mind she refused. Gracelyn tugged her sister's top saying,

"Now that you are in control, what are you to do?"

Tessa kneel down to Gracelyn replying,

"Changing this awful style of this Kingdom into all black luxury, change rooms and make sure you have the same color as before."

Gracelyn jumped up and down hugging Tessa tightly then headed off to pack her things to move everything to her old room. Tessa called for Larkin as he came rushing to her saying,

"Yes, Princess Tessa?"

Tessa chuckled replying,

"I am now to be called Gothic Princess or Queen Tessa. I am taking over this Kingdom."

Larkin shrugged his shoulder's responding,

"Of course, so what do you need?"

Tessa thought long and hard replying,

"Get a hold of designers, I am having this Kingdom changed completely and get meetings ready, you are now my sidekick pretty much."

Larkin nodded though he loved being a guard but he would do anything for her. Tessa felt privileged to be a Queen finally after fighting her rights with her parents to have them retire from the scene unfortunately she has no idea what to do with them after the dungeon.
