Chapter 6

After a long day, Laila met Lucy down by the fountain to see what is going on. Laila reached the fountain down in the front of the castle with Lucy smiling at her saying,

"I was beginning to wonder if they were ever going to let you go, Princess Kristy released me of my duties hours ago, and I know the other maids have everything else handled making sure everyone is happy. So, what happened with Tessa and Lacey?"

Laila sighed replying,

"Lacey came back after King Xavier kicked her out, and proposed to Tessa in which pissed off Larkin whose already asked her once but her father watched at that time, and forcefully made her decline. So, as if matters didn't get worse Tessa accepted Lacey's proposal that are now preparing a wedding no one is prepared for."

Lucy shook her head no responding,

"Not only is my sister desperate, Tessa is going to be falling right into her path of destruction, and it isn't going to be pretty. My sister is evil that is how she plays the nice card with everyone. Tessa will be used and abused just like my parent's. Lacey is a future evil queen of Kingdom Griffon, and as the good Princess that I am, I have avoided being a hero for her future. Yes, I am a Princess as well but I have refused to be queen for many reasons. Anyway, let's go to where I had plan for our evening."

Laila nodded as they walked hand in hand to where Lucy was taking her too. They found themselves near a watering whole deep in the woods it made Laila bite her lip, she looked at Lucy saying,

"Are we skinny dipping tonight?"

Lucy laughed out loud replying,

"Oh yeah, watch Queen Deanna freak out because there are two naked girls in her waters. I have thought about it though but no, I thought we could lay out here by the water to stare at the stars, and enjoy a cuddle. I am not really wanting to hear my sister and Tessa make love again tonight that is rather disturbing."

Laila frowned but then shrugged her shoulders, it doesn't make much difference to her though she lived a careless life before being brought to Earth. Lucy laid down on the ground that she set a heavy blanket on, and added another blanket with pillows, so they could fall asleep under the stars. Laila laid beside Lucy in the dim light as they watched the stars, Lucy lifted Laila's head saying,

"Best way to end the day is to be close to the one you care about most." Lucy kissed Laila on the lips feeling softness on hers.

Laila wanted to go beyond making out with Lucy but she didn't want to push her into it, though she always found her hands inside Lucy's undergarments, oh yeah, she got to feel her C cup breasts between her finger tips while Lucy moaned between kisses. Feeling her nipples excited Laila, she hasn't got to go this far even with her best friend but she wanted to see what Lucy would allow her. Laila separated her lips from Lucy as she looked deep into her eyes.

"I want to make love to you but I know you probably want to take it slow." Laila said in a whisper.

Lucy smiled whispering, "I do want to take it slow even if we made love, I wouldn't change anything between us. I am falling for you when I know you're heart belongs to another."

Laila kissed Lucy's cheek whispering back, "I can't love her when she is in love with someone else, and she is destined to be with someone else as it is. I am an Angel to change her future but loving her will never happen."

Lucy sat up while Laila's hand slipped out from underneath her garments, she looked at Laila deeply which made Laila's breath hitch a little. Lucy touched Laila's cheek whispering,

"All I want is for you to be happy while you are here because I know Tessa has destroyed everything inside you from when you were crushing on her, she doesn't deserve anyone but my sister is cruel enough to possibly wake her up, and realize what she missed. Right now, I like the way we are and when we work together it is perfect. I don't want you to lose yourself between us and her true life commitment."

Laila wiped a tear from her cheek then looked down whispering back,

"I don't think I will ever return home at this rate though you couldn't go with because you can't fly or even get out of here to reach Ruitha. My best friend could also get jealous if she knew I got to close to a human as you said though you can't help who you fall for. Selena has never let me go beneath her garments you have let me go that far beyond what I thought was a limit. Lucy, you are much more than just a random maid that I have met, you became a friend to a girl who had everything destroyed within one world. I am falling for you too."

Lucy held Laila's hand with her own whispering,

"Even if I couldn't go home with you, you would always come back for me. We would make it work. I know being in Medieval times has made it difficult but you have a galore of life to explore beyond a castle in a sky with your King and Queen. You could get you're wings back at any point but I wouldn't change my feelings for you. Now, let's get off of this subject and enjoy some wine together."

Lucy brought out the wine with cheese from the kitchen while bringing out wine glasses, they were bigger than she thought they would be but she just loved to be able to enjoy something smoother than whiskey they had the other day. Red wine is a favorite among Kingdom's this one is a particularly strong one with a great after taste. For cheese they shared Cheddar which is her favorite.

They didn't make love that evening though Laila wanted too, she knew they had early rise for work the next day but that first night together brought their bonding stronger than what she had with Tessa whose fixing to marry a Princess in due time. Larkin still couldn't handle Tessa being in love with Lacey it tore him inside and out. King Xavier wanted nothing more than to separate Tessa from Lacey but they couldn't due to guidelines that she made when she ruled the Kingdom for a whole day. Gracelyn turned eight but she didn't want to be like Tessa, she wanted to be like Laila whose become her guardian Angel.

Ruitha's King Lycan changed his order for Laila to earn her wings is to watch Gracelyn grow up, and to fall in love with a future King though she wants to enjoy her time as a temporary Princess until King Xavier and Queen Deanna make up their mind to give her the throne since Tessa is going to be Queen in another Kingdom.

Could Tessa take on a Kingdom that isn't hers?

Does Laila and Lucy have a chance at building commitment?
