Chapter 4

We arrived in England a whole day later. Korin and his crew stayed up for days to make sure we arrived in England to meet the Princess. As the ship began docking and the ropes were tied, Gracelyn could see the castle in the distance it was so huge compared to Evigon. Gracelyn still felt so guilty for taking Laila away from their home and the woman that she fell in love with. As they came off the ship with them four first in line with Korin trailing behind. Gracelyn stood on the dock with the others as she felt a hand slid into hers, she knew for a fact that it was Laila because of how cold it felt in hers. Gracelyn couldn't look at Laila because of her guilt.

"It will be okay as a Princess you have to meet others around the world especially when and if you decide to be Queen by your next birthday." Laila whispered into Gracelyn's ear.

Gracelyn shivered feeling her urges spike out of the blue. Gracelyn squeezed her hand to reassure that she was okay as they all walked towards the castle in the distance. The town didn't have carriages as far as she knew or least looked like. Then they ended up walking and took the village by surprise to see new arrivals besides Tessa and Lacey they knew them also Korin and his ship crew that pondered around the village hooting and hollering at ladies. One lady came up to Gracelyn looking her up and down then smiled then whispered in her ear.

"A Princess like you deserves to be with our Princess such a beauty."

Gracelyn didn't know what to think since she had no idea who this Princess is. Tessa came behind the woman snarling at her for getting close to Gracelyn as protection.

"You may not have guards, sis, but as your beauty shines to these men and women. Me and Lacey will have to protect you. I do not trust a soul. Princess Hildegard is cautious of her guests that are on her land. You may be Princess as well but that doesn't mean she won't have your head." Tessa said out loud in front of passerbyers.

"Tessa, you aren't even a Princess anymore yourself. You are a fucking Pirate just like your wife." Gracelyn replied in anger.

"Woah! All because I am a Pirate doesn't mean I don't have my roots of what our parents taught us inside Evigon. This is England and you don't know a soul. Keep that foul mouth clean." Tessa responded in her own anger.

Gracelyn rolled her eyes, not caring about what her sister said since half of the time Tessa never listened to their rules either and she ran off before her own wedding to be with Lacey. Laila pulled Gracelyn to an empty alley in the village and they ran away from everyone including Tessa and Lacey which seemed to throw Gracelyn off completely. Once they were deep in the woods far enough that she couldn't see the castle anymore.

"Gracelyn, I know fucking well you hate your sister but damn it, give her a break. She is in love with her wife, what is the matter with you? Ever since you found her on that ship, you treated her like shit." Laila yelled at Gracelyn.

"You brought me all the way to the woods to yell at me. Laila, my sister ditched me in my teen years and never came to see me. I know she would have been your sister in law if you married Lucy but fucking hell, I hate Tessa for not being with you instead or Larkin." Gracelyn raised her voice back at Laila.

"You can't change anyone's heart and they were together longer before I came into your life. So, cut the bullshit and treat her better." Laila replied, fighting tears.

"Oh quit the fucking water works. You could have made Tessa love you instead you made her go with that tramp." Gracelyn responded feeling her fuse about to bust.

Gracelyn couldn't speak as Laila's soft lips enraged with hunger upon hers. She had no words for Laila as she pushed her off.

"You are engaged to Lucy, what the fuck?" Gracelyn said, wiping her lips.

"Not anymore since you forced me to say goodbye to her. I am no longer with anyone except up your ass and as far as I am concerned, you are hiding the fact of being attracted to older women." Laila replied snaring at Gracelyn.

Gracelyn started to walk back towards the village as Laila grabbed her arm again and forced their lips back together in hunger as Gracelyn tried to pull away a second time but Laila had a tight grip on her. Gracelyn knew that this is going to end up in a bad scenario because Laila is trying to make a point. Gracelyn finally felt Laila release her from their passionate kiss.

"Can we go meet Hildegard now?" Gracelyn asked in fear of being in the woods too long.

Gracelyn watched as Laila laughed so hard and pointed at Gracelyn as some joke. Gracelyn slapped Laila hard as she quit laughing.

"I want to meet Princess Hildegard and I will leave without you. You can find your way back to Evigon, I already felt guilty for bringing you out here but now, it is more of a joke. I was hoping as my friend and guardian angel that you would be more serious on finding me the true love that I am destined for." Gracelyn said through fighting her own tears.

Gracelyn walked away without Laila behind her for once as she felt guilty enough for slapping her but she didn't need Laila telling her how to deal with Tessa and her emotions as it is. Gracelyn needed to meet Hildegard for the sake of knowing if their is someone other than Korin to make her feel wanted and needed unlike her sister, her wife, and fucking Laila. Before my thoughts could finish Laila flew herself in front of me.

"Look at that, I am an Angel again and you are obviously my troublemaker for doing this. My father must really like your attitude to let me become an Angel again." Laila said cheerfully with the red mark across her face.

Gracelyn rolled her eyes, walked past Laila and then made her way into the village that felt such a long walk. Before she could get close to the village she saw herself get lifted into the sky which freaked her out, she couldn't scream or anything. Gracelyn closed her eyes with hopes that Laila didn't drop her.
