School, the team and that Moyo guy

″That was really cool of what you did! said Shekah still looking surprised from what had happened in class. Mrs Crouch, who I found out was the teachers name, apologized for the misinformation and wished for me to teach her some things she didn't know about my country some time. I agreed with her and we even became friends. My friends told me that she was the best and most friendly teacher in the school. Now I know why students liked her and even paid attention during her class.

Anyway, we went to the school cafeteria and sat on a table. I brought out my lunch which was Jollof rice( a local dish prepared in west Africa) My friends looked at me awkwardly so I had to break the silence.

″Why are you guys looking at me like? saying with a curious and serious tone. ″Is that Jollof rice″ said Eric. I knew he would be the only one who would know the meal. Duh, cause he's from Ghana.

″Yeah it is, you want some? I said with a generous look. I was fond of giving things to people. As they say, God loves a cheerful giver. So I shared my lunch with Eric and he enjoyed it. Shekah on the other hand just ate her hamburger but was rudely interrupted by a large figure.

″Hey give that back! she said with anger in her voice. It ain't good to make an Indian angry. ″ Yeah, why not? before we knew it the guy threw the burger on Shekah's dress. She stood up wanting to shout but I just felt let me do it for her.

″Hey, stupid, why don't you pick on someone your own size? as he turned, I immediately knew who it was... Moyo

″Oh yeah? or what?″ said Moyo.

″Oh I'll beat your ass in a basketball game again. He stood there silent remembering what happened the last time.

Flashback

″Alright little girl, me and you, one-one. First to reach 10 points gives the winner 10 bucks.″ said Moyo with all confidence in himself. Foolish kid, your looking at the 5 time MVP of Nigerian teenage basketball. He would be just a warm up

″Your'e on! I said with a grin on my face.Kane dragged me one side and spoke to me. ″Are you sure can take this kid, sis? saying with a bit of worry. My brother was protecting even if he knew I can settle a lot of matters by myself. But I still loved it that he cared.

″If I can beat you, he's just a pass over.″saying with a smirk on my face.

″True fact. Alright go get him lil sis! he said with full confidence in me. I love my brother. He's always been there for me, good times and bad.

″LET THE GAME BEGIN!!″ another teen shouted.

Everyone left the court and it remained me and Moyo. ″You ready, lil girl? he asked. ″Please, I am already warmed up.″ I said with a smile on my face. He got angry and our match began.

He dribbled past me and shot the first point.

″You sure you can keep up″ he asked. ″Please what you did was child's play″ I said with mischievous look on my face. He looked confused and that was all I wanted. I dribbled past him and did a slam dunk. The other teens were shocked except my brother of course. I continued like that until I did a slam dunk on Moyo for my final shot. ″Janet- 10, Moyo- 2″ said my brother with an impressed face.

″Alright Moyo, my ten bucks please!″ I said feeling proud of myself. He threw the money at me and left angry. The rest just looked at him and started laughing.

Flash back over.

″Ready for another pay back I presume! I said with a brow up.

″As if, what are you doing here! he said with an angry tone. ″Ah, I school here″ he looked ashamed at asking such a dumb question. He left the cafeteria and everyone clapped for me. It felt good standing up for someone, especially if their in trouble.

Shekah cleaned herself up and we went back to our classes.

I went for the school team tryouts and I found out I was accepted already because my dad showed the coach some of my videos. No wonder he was around during my P.E class. After school, Eric offered me a ride home and I sat at the back seat while Shekah sat at the passenger's seat while Eric drove the car.

We were on the road and my favorite Flo rida started playing which was Going Down for real. Eric and Shekah started singing along with me too. It seemed they liked it too. Sweet! The song started and it went like this:

I know what you came here to see

If you're a freak, then ya coming home with me

And I know what you came here to do

Now bust it open let me see you get low

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

As the song was playing, Eric began to rap and he sounded pretty good.

Your girl just kissed a girl

I do bi chicks

Shake for a shake

I'm throwing these Emirates in the sky

Spinning this As-salamu alaykum

Peace to M.O.N.E.Y

I love my beaches, south beaches

Surfboard and high tide

I could just roll up

Cause I'm swoll up

So that birthday cake get a cobra

Buggati for real, I'm cold bruh

That auto-biography rover

Got the key to my city it's over

It's no thots, only Anna Kournikova's

I said rackets, ratchets hold up

(I said rackets, ratchets hold up)

I know what you came here to see

If you're a freak, then ya coming home with me

And I know what you came here to do

Now bust it open let me see you get low

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

And they already know me

It's going down for real

It's going down further than femurs

Girls get wetter than Katrina

Yeah my girl you never seen her

'Cause my tints by limousines

My touch is the Midas

We de-plus your man to minus

My team blowing on that slam

Make you cough-cough that's Bronchitis

Put your hands up

It's a stick up, no more makeup

Get that ass on the floor

Ladies put your lipstick up

Double entendre, double entendre

While you're hating I get money

Then I double up tonkers

I know what you came here to see

If you're a freak, then ya coming home with me

And I know what you came here to do

Now bust it open let me see you get low

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

Then we all started singing the ending of the song together.

Lift it, drop it, shake it, pop it

Lift it, drop it, shake it, pop it

Lift it, drop it, shake it, pop it

Lift it, drop it, shake it

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

It's going down for real

As the song had ended, I complimented him and asked him since when he has been rapping. He said he had rapping since he was five which I found pretty cool.

We finally arrived at my house since I directed it for them. As we arrived, they looked at my how big my house was for a bungalow and were in shook.

''You didn't tell us you were rich! said Eric. ''Who cares, this house is truly sleep over worthy! spoke Shekah with excitement. I told them that they would come next week and they were okay with it. I told bye and as they drove off, I just found out they lived just two blocks away from my house. So cool.

I entered the house and greeted my mom. She responded with saying,'' So how was school?''

Man, was she in for a story....
