Chapter 28
"Marriage?" I repeated and she nodded
"I have a few ideas for guys," She explains then adds "There is one that is going to be a doctor, he says he wants to meet with you since you are in Tokyo."
"Mom-"
"But he is busy, he said he had a camp." She continued
"Mom, Listen," I say a bit louder causing her to focus on me again
"I don't want to." I stated firmly before adding "I'm not going to marry somebody, based on your choosing."
"But he's going to be a doctor-"
"I don't care!" I exclaimed loudly
"I'm looking out for your best interest." She explained to me
"But I won't be happy."
"That doesn't matter as long as you are safe."
"But I can be happy and safe with someone I actually love," I complained
"Then just meet him."
"Why should I meet someone to give them false hopes."
"Because I'm sure it will be love at first sight, he is so handsome and he plays volleyball." My mom comments
"No, I won't." I continue to hold me ground
"F/n, don't make me force you-"
"Is this all you waited to talk to me about?" I asked before adding "Did consider my volleyball life, or even if I have my memories back."
"You asked me the main point I wanted to talk to you about, but of course I was going to ask you about all those things." She said and paused before adding "How about you think about everything while you wait at the office."
"Fine," I say coldly, giving in to my mom's request.
The car trip continued in awkward silence until we got to my Mom's office because she had disappeared into her office, leaving me in the lobby.

"Your mom said she will be out soon." The man from earlier told me while I glanced down at the time
'It's already been over 2 hours.' I thought to myself before adding 'And that is the 5th time he has said it.'
"Do you think you could take me to get something to eat?" I asked the man, who was about to leave
"Your Mom said she was almost finished, I'm sure you will be eating together soon." He said with a small reassuring smile, before the front doors to the office
Heels tapped on the ground, while a lady in a black skin-tight dress approached me.
"Where can I find, Y/M/N?" She asked me
"She is in here." The man answered, gaining the attention of the blonde-haired women.
She tapped her way towards my mom's office, causing me to rest my head on the desk I was sitting at
'I wonder what the boys are doing.' I thought to myself while I turned on my phone, reading the text from Kageyama

I would enjoy rewatching (hated movie) more than being here.

We haven't won a game yet
And everything is all over the place

Yea we just finished our penalty runs

"Miss L/n." I hear a mans voice, causing me to glance up at the man from before
"Huh?" I hummed
"You're mom gave me permission to take you to get something to eat." He explained and I smiled
"Let's go then."

"Are you sure you want to eat here, we can go somewhere nicer?" The man asked me and I shook my head
"No, I don't like fancy places like my mom," I explained while I unbuckled my belt and opened the car door
"Are you coming?" I asked him while I stood outside of the car
"No, I shouldn't join you. I normally do not."
"But this isn't a normal day, come on its just one meal." I tried to convince him
He glanced at the time then back at me
"I'm going to have to re-"
"Are you really going to make a younger girl eat by herself? What if I get hit on?" I say, causing him to open his car door
"It's just one meal." He said while he headed towards the door of the fast-food restaurant and I followed behind him
He held the door open for me, before following me inside.
"What are you going to get?" I asked while he stopped with me in front of the cash register.
"I'm not sure, I have never been to (Favorite FastFood Place)." He said while his eyes scanned the menu board
"Can I help you?" The cashier asked and i nodded
"I'm going to have (Favorite Food)." I said before glancing back at the man
"I'll have a number 7," He said while he pulled out his wallet to pay
"Here I can pay," I say but before I can even reach for my money, he already handed the credit card to the cashier
"At least let me pay you back for my food," I said and he shook his head
"Just tell your mom you bought an extra order of food." He said making me realized he used my mom's card
"Then I will stand here and wait for the food, you can go and find a place to sit," I say while handing him his cup.
I stood there for a second as if he was deciding to argue with me or not before heading towards the machines to get something to drink.
I waited a bit before they called my name, and I grabbed the try before joining the familiar man at a table.
"Here you go," I say while I place this order in front of him before placing my food across from him
"I never got your name," I comment while I sit across from him
"Takahashi Eiji, I am your mom's assistant." He said with a small smile while he politely nodded his head towards me
"I'm L/n F/n, but I guess you already know that," I say while I unwrap/open my food and take a bite
We eat together every now and then, with a small conversation.

"I'm going to head to the bathroom, you can wait in the car for me," I say while I head down the hallway that leads to the bathroom while he heads out the front door.
'What should I do.' I thought to myself while I stared at the address on my phone
'Go or not to go.'

-Kageyama's P.O.V.-
"Kageyamaaa, let's practice together!" Hinata said while stretched out my legs
"Only for a little bit, I want to head back early," I answer before getting up, stopping at my bag to check my phone
"As she texted you since?" Hinata asked and I shook my head
"I hope everything is alright," I said before placing my phone back in my bag and joining Hinata

-Your Mom's P.O.V.-
'Where could they have gone, It almost been an hour.' I thought to myself while I tapped my pen against my desk nervously
"Maybe I should have waited to tell her," I said to myself while I stared at the useless documents on my desk
'She kept talking about loving someone, does that mean she-' My thoughts were interrupted by the lobby door
"Sorry, there was traffic," Takahashi explained while F/n followed behind him on er phone
"It's fine, L/n I have a question for you," I said causing her attention to be drawn from her phone to me, implying for me to ask
"Do you have somebody you love?" I asked, and a shocked expression flashed across her face before quickly disappearing
"What do you mean by somebody?" She asked causing me to narrow my eyes at her
"Somebody that is not related to you, but you care deeply for."
"Then, yes." She said confidently causing my eyes to widen
"Who is it?" I asked while her phone began to ring
"I have to answer this." She said pointing at the phone before disappearing out the front door
'How can I make him disappear.'
