Out Of Ordinary

Alexander and Evelyn sat in the shadows of the branches. The sun painted the sky red and orange giving out a warm feeling.

Alexander held Evelyn in his arms. His fingers tracing her arms repeatedly as if memorizing them. Alexander wanted to cherish the moment he was experiencing now but he also knew that it was not the right time for such thoughts. Serious matters were pressing.

"You might have done a background check on me before," Evelyn moved out of Alexander's arms as she looked straight at his face, "Before I begin you tell me what you have found out."

Alexander discovered his empty arms as if the warmth he had just experienced was an illusion, he held out his arm to catch Evelyn's hands "What do you want to achieve with it? just tell me what is on your mind."

Alexander was happy with Evelyn's decision to trust him but he was also worried about what he might find. He wanted to know it as soon as possible yet here he was still playing Evelyn's game of question and answers.
