Part Of Her Personality

In the forest

Alexander was leading Evelyn by her hand. The sun was still in the sky, making the surroundings bright.

"Do you even know where we are going?" Evelyn said after being dragged for a long time.

"Of course," Alexander nodded his head in confidence but his eyes were searching a familiar spot.

"Do tell, because I do not think you know anything." Evelyn protested. Alexander was with her since the previous night, and she was sure he had not visited the place prior.

"We are going to see the waterfall," Alexander declared as his grip on Evelyn's hand tightened.

Alexander just wanted to spend some time with Evelyn and he had forgotten to make up an excuse. His eyes were focused on the surrounding trying to get a sense of direction.

Evelyn looked around but heard no water sound coming from nearby. She stops Alexander by pulling their intertwined hands with all her strength.

"Wait" Evelyn looked around before she declared, "We are going in the wrong direction."
