Itachi
-
"Sasuke, wake up you're going to be late," I say while knocking on his door for the 100th time already, and when there was no answer I opened up his door.
"Figures," I say looking at his clean room, with his windows open.
I felt the breeze hit my face, as I walked towards the window
"I wish he would at least tell me that he is leaving," I say to myself as while closing the window.

-A couple of nights ago-
"You know what I mean, you helped him kill our clan!"
"Why would I help him? I told you if I knew what he was going to do I would have stopped him, then if it cost me my life." I yell
"It's all a lie!" He yells charging at me, and before the kunai knife could hit my skin, I reached my hand out taking the full blow of Knife with the skin in between my thumb and pointer finger
I felt the sharp pain in my hand, I whined in pain for a second, but then wrapped my fingers around his hand, and pulled him into an embrace
"Sasuke, why can't you trust me," I said in pain, not because of my hand, but because my heart was in more pain.
I felt him wrap his free arm around me
"I-I'm sorry."
'Who knew both brothers would apologize to me in one day.' I thought, trying to hold in my chuckle
"Sasuke, why did you think I helped Itachi..."
"Because that is what Aaron said...."
"What?"
"He t-told me the last day Itachi was here, you guys spent it together. And when he finally felt, you broke down into tears." He says and I frown remembering that day
Don't listen to him, he is full of lies. That day-" I stopped talking and released Sasuke from the hug "I told Itachi that I liked him, but he rejected me." I say, trying to come up with something off the top of my head.
'But one day he will find out the truth...' I thought
"So when he left me there, I cried because I had liked him for years..." I say trailing off not wanting to have this conversation with an 8-year-old
"Oh." He says letting go to the kunai knife and looked at my hand for a second
"It's alright. I will be fine, you don't have to worry about me." I say waving with my other hand, then grab the handle of the kunai knife.
I pull it out and whine in pain form a second.
"Sasuke?"
He didn't say any and walked off, like as if he was in deep thought.
"I hope he doesn't hate me..." I say to myself while I watched him disappear into the night
Was it the smartest thing an 11 year to let an 8-year-old do, no but he needed time alone.

-Back to the present-
"I didn't know a goofball could mature so quickly." I heard a voice behind me as I closed the door to my apartment
I whipped my head around to a smirking face
"Aaron, what are you doing here?"
"Out for a walk figured I would drop by, to talk to you about something." He says, and the smirk never wiped off his face
'Ok, creepy...'
"About what?" I say and he got close to me
"Itachi-" he whispered in my ear and I quickly pushed him away.
"What-"
"I know about your little secret meeting." He says and my first instinct was to slap him
"I told you to lea-"
"I can leave you alone, but once the Hokage finds out I don't know if he will." He says nonchalantly, raising his hands in defense
"What do you mean?" I question and he smirks evilly while lifting my chin for me to look at him
"I will go and tell the Hokage you had a part in the murder of your clan unless-" he says looking up like as if he was thinking
"Unless?"
His eyes return to mine, with a mischievous tint in his eyes.
"You become my girlfriend."
He says and I lightly blushed
"What do you mean, and what evidence that I helped with the murder of the Clan?"
"1st, You met with him the day your clan was killed. 2nd, you just met with him a couple of days ago. 3rd, you did not complain about anything I said."
"Why would you know all that, do you follow me 24/7?"
"I-I..." He trails off
"And first off I met with him the day our clan- because I told him how I felt, and he didn't accept me. Second, a couple of days ago he came to me and this past year he developed feelings for me, but I told him I had moved on. And third, I didn't complain because now I understand why Sasuke was mad at me. You made me sound like a terrible person." I had tears in my eyes by now, and I pushed him off the railing he was sitting on
He landed on his back and he just stared straight up at me in shock.
"Yumi..."
"Just leave me alone, please..."
I watched as he slowly got up, and I turned my back on him walking away. I had to go to the academy and talk to Sasuke.
I walked down the halls and memories filled my mind
-Flash Back-
"Shisui, Itachi look at what I can do." An optimistic younger me says while making hand signs
"Shadow Clone Jutsu," I say and another me pops up by my side
"Pretty cool, right?" I say looking at them and Shisui looked at me and smiled
"You have been practicing hard. Keep it up." Shisui said with a gentle smile, and I looked over at Itachi
He stared at me with his cold expression like usual, causing my heart to skip a beat
"Is that all you want to show us?" Itachi said coldly and I slowly nodded
"Interesting," Itachi says walking past me and I turn and watch as the two disappear.
" 'Interesting' huh?" I say gripping my shirt, and I knew was I hated it
And I hated him.
"Mr.Show off" I hiss while I walk the other way
-
I looked straight up at the clouds, then back at the wooden board.
'It's not good enough.' I thought while staring at where my kunai knife had landed
I get ready to throw another one, but my body froze and started falling.
'I guess practicing all night was the best thing.' I think while I brace myself for impact, but it never came
I opened my eyes to meet a cold pair staring at me
"I-Itachi?" I say while he sets me back on my feet, keeping a hand on my back.
"You such not push yourself too much." He says and I just nod
"Try throwing them like this." He demonstrated how to do it, hitting the bull's eye.
I try, but failed and felt someone put another knife in my hand.
I look up at Itachi, who's normal cold expression was now gentle and focused.
"Like this." He said guiding my hand, and when I let go of the kunai knife it hit bull's eye
"Yay!" I shout as sudden excitement runs through me and I wrap my arms around his neck as I jump up and down.
I released him once I noticed what I was doing, I looked at him and he was smiling.
"You know Shadow Clone, but you can't throw a kunai knife?" He says chuckling, and I felt my face warm-up
"And? So?" I say a little upset, and he looked at me
"It's cute." He says, and I look down at my feet, embarrassed
I felt someone pat my head and I look at Itachi
"Still it's outstanding."
-
"Itachi!" I say waving my hand in the air as he left for his first mission outside the village, and he turned towards me
"I will be back, soon." He says while waving before turning back around
"Bye-" I say softly "good luck."
-Flash Back End-
I shook off my memories, while I walked past some kids running past me.
I walked into the doorway and looked at Iruka, who was looking down at a book.
"Iruka-" I say and he looks at me
"Yumi, what's up?"
"Since you guys are on break, I was hoping I could talk to Sasuke..."
Iruka flashed me while telling me he was outside training, so I slowly walked away.
I stopped next to a wall where a bunch of girls was standing.
"He is so cool~"
"Yes"
I hear the two girls say and I walked past them to see Sasuke.
"Sasuke!" I say surprising the two girls, and Sasuke just looked at me
"What do you want?" He says still paying attention to his throwing.
I watched as he struggled with the kanai knives, just as I once did.
I watched him, as he lost his footing and started falling backward.
I sighed as I felt his back fall into my hands.
"You should be more careful..." I say and he just looks away.
I help him to his feet and look at the wooden board in front of us.
"Like this..." I say grabbing one of his kunai knives and threw it at the board.
"Just like how Itachi showed me to do it..." He says and I blush to realize how similar this is to when Itachi started teaching me.
"Sasuke, why did you not come home last night?" I say and he looks away from me and towards the board.
"I was training."
I nodded "I respect that, but next time come to dinner... So I know you just didn't disappear."
I say and he just nods.
"I have to go." He says walking back towards the academy.
"See ya," I say and he just lifts his hand in the air and waves.
I saw a crow in the air start to fly towards me.
"What the heck?" I say as the crow lands in front of me
It laid down a carefully folded envelope in front of me, then fly off.
I opened it carefully, pulling out the letter inside.
'I want to see you. -Itachi'
"This is not his handwriting," I say rereading the letter
'Maybe it changed in the past year?' I thought while sticking it in my pocket.
"But why now?" I say walking away from the academy, and to where 'Itachi' wanted to meet me.
