I carefully walked towards the area Itachi and I used to meet when the Uchiha Clan was still around.
"Itachi..." I say and my voice only echoed on the walls, so I turned on my heel to leave.
"Hey." A low voice greeted me and turned my head to see Itachi.
"Why are you here, don't you have any common sense how dangerous it is for you to come here?" I hiss, trying to keep my voice low.
"I thought maybe I could help you train..." He says and I look around at our old little training area
"It's alright I can do it on my own, that is the real reason you are here?" I questioned and he stared at me intensively, and I looked away as my cheek flushed red
"Yumi, what are you going to do about Aaron?" He says and my eyes widen and looked back at him
"What do you mean?"
"The whole 'be my girlfriend or I will go and tell the Hokage' thing." He says summing up my conversation with Aaron, from earlier.
"How did you know about that?"
"I watched you for a couple of days to see what your life is like."
"Yes, and if you were paying attention from that conversation it's oblivious that Aaron is onto us, so it 10 times more dangerous."
"I love how you are worried about me, but I can take care of myself."
I gave him a small smile "But. It could worsen my conditions."
He slowly got closer to me and put his hand on my cheek.
"And? I don't like him he is annoying, I can kill him right now if I really wanted to." He says grabbing a kunai knife from my bag and throwing it at the tree, and a gasp was heard
"Right, Aaron." Itachi says and I look towards where he threw the knife.
"Man, you got me," Aaron says while rubbing the back of his neck
"Itachi-" I say grabbing onto his wrist when I felt his weight move to go towards Aaron.
"Don't," I say know what his intentions were
"Yumi, it doesn't matter now if I die anyways, I already sent in a report to the Hokage about you," Aaron says and I felt Itachi's wrist leave my grasp
"Itachi, stop," I say before he could touch Aaron.
"Yumi we have to go." Itachi says grabbing my wrist now and I felt my body being pulled, but then somebody grabbed my other wrist
"Where do you think you're going," Aaron say while tightening his grip on my wrist and I whined in pain.
"You little-" Itachi says getting ready to punch Aaron.
"Itachi, just let me go." I pled softly, causing Itachi to freeze
"What?" He says while staring at me, and I gave a small smile
"I will be fine," I say, while I take my wrist from Aaron and hug Itachi
I felt him hug me back, and he slowly backed away from me.
"Are you sure?" He says and I nod while turning around to face Aaron, who was staring at the ground
"Hey, about Sasuke... " he paused like as if he was remembering something "he will come around," Itachi says before disappearing
"Let's go." Aaron bluntly and turned around "the Hokage awaits"
"Mhm"
'I didn't even help in the Uchihas clan murder anyway, the only thing I have done wrong was talking to Itachi.' I think while I bumped into someone's back
"We are here."

"Lord Hokage, may I come in?" I say while knocking on the door
"Yes, come in " I heard and I opened the door slowly
"May I ask why I am being summoned, sir?" I ask and he nods
"I need you to go on a solo mission." He says and I nod
"But first Yumi... Tell me, do you have any connections with Itachi Uchiha?" He says straight forwards and my eyes widen in surprise
"Why would you think that?" I say, and he looks up at the sky
"I have my theories..." He says not making eye contact
"Lord Hokage, I only care for his younger brother... That's all."
"Why did you pause?" He says turning his gaze back to me
"I don't know..." I say trailing off
"Could it be you helped with your clan's death?"
"Why would you think that?"
"I have my sources."
"Aaron, right?"
The 3rd Hokage sighed "he is one, but I have others too."
"What makes you think I killed my clan, and think about it if I did Sasuke would have been dead long ago," I say rubbing my bandage covered hand while remembering what happened a couple of nights ago.
"I have talked to Sasuke too." He says and my eyes widen, and I just stayed quiet waiting for him to continue, it was the only thing I really could do
"The main thing that made me search into this was the small rumors of you being the next Itachi."
"But those said, instead of me killing my clan, I would kill the entire village," I say and he looks out at the village
"Yes and this is what worried me the most, so I had Aaron start to follow you around in the past couple of months."
"Lord Hokage, what have I ever done to this village?" I say in an outburst, with tears dwelling in my eyes and he looked at me shocked
"Yumi-"
"It would be different, like if I say trying to hurt someone and my actives showed signs but there is nothing. You are treating me like a criminal who killed my clan, the only thing I ever did wrong was loved the man who killed my clan."
