Deep into danger

One day had passed by now and soon it was night. The full moon was up in the night sky full of stars as it illuminated the forest in a silvery light.

The world seemed extremely quiet and peaceful at the moment except for the occasional few wolf howls that could be heard in the distance.

Looking up towards the quiet night sky, stars decorated the black sky as they gave off faint radiant light just like tiny diamonds placed in a jewelry exhibition for the world to see.

A Bonfire was lit as skewers of meat was been roasted over the fire. Everyone felt full and relaxed as they thought back to their day to day.

Since the addition of Jonathan to the team, their hunting efficiency was very high and fast. According to the spear wielding George, the harvest of the day was more than what they usually got from three days of hunting.

Everyone was extremely happy with the results. They all sat around the bonfire as they swapped stories and ask Jonathan questions, some about his past and some about his powers. Jonathan told them a few jokes from his world, some which completely flew over their heads while some that made them laugh their asses off.

The swords man Raul and mage Jack were both around Leah as they tried to show her their own hospitality to gain some favor, embarrassing the beauty who just wanted peace and quiet.

In fact, Jonathan also wanted to go up and say hello, but due to his current status revealed to the party as a potential Priest, he was forced to show some arrogance and a superior's air, something he had understood from the party's conversation on how Priests acted in this world.

The shield warrior Tyrese was relatively quiet, the large amount of harvest in one day did not seem to make him particularly moved.

In this way, Jonathan's first day of life in another world was passed through without any danger.

With Jonathan's support, the party's combat power had improved a lot, mainly because they could fight without worry and could inflict more damage all thanks to his buffs and heals. The injured quickly recovered under Jonathan's heals.

'It's obvious but in just a short time, their strength has increased from all the hunting. They might not have levels or stats but it seems they might also grow strong the more they fight.'

Jonathan relied on [Eye of Insight] to observe the jungle as he pondered upon how everyone seemed stronger than before and how they looked more adept with their combat skills. The original combat power had risen for the group.

The progress was faster than Jonathan and they learned from real life combat and the mistakes they made, unlike Jonathan who had to slowly increase his levels by absorbing the life energy of the hunted creatures when they died.

Here, Jonathan also heard about this world's classification of strength which was a bit similar to Jonathan's own level system. They had a Tier system in place and from Jonathan could deduce, he found out that levels 1-10 were Tier 1, levels 11-20 were Tier 2, and 21-30 were Tier 3, and so on.

His party members were equal to Tier 3 and this forest was considered a Tier 2-3 area.

After a few days of similar hunting, the party was getting rich and richer. George and Tyrese carried the packs of monster cores and valuable fur on their backs.

The Spear warrior George was very satisfied with the current harvest they had and asked if they could go back.

"If you go any deeper, stronger monsters will appear. Anything unexpected can happen. One small slip up and the entire party can face a disaster."

Tyrese the shield warrior was very casual and respected the opinions of the majority.

But Leah insisted on going deep into the jungle. Jonathan noticed her stubborn eyes as if there was something important she was looking for in the jungle.

Even if everyone else here returned back, she would probably go alone. Deep in the forest.

As for the wizard Jack and the swordsman Raul, although they realized that the path of the party was becoming more dangerous, their youthful spirit and pursuit of Leah made them follow Leah's opinions without thinking.
