Chapter 4

I can say that all three of us probably had our jaws drop to the floor. We were blown away from what we are seeing right in front of us. But then again coming from what little we had, anything could impress us. Right in front of us, looked like a painting that came to life.

Stepping out of the vehicle we all gave a little shudder, what with the air having a little chill to it even though it was summertime. I could see why, seeing as you have these giant mountains behind this gigantic castle. Yes, you heard correctly in front of us stood a gigantic castle that was meant to be a part of the 18th century, but instead it was standing here right in front us in this time period.

Glancing behind us, you have acres of land covered with trees. For as far as the eye could see, there was no stopping point of where the woods ended. I figured as much that we were far from civilization, so if you happened to get murdered in these woods. No one would be able to hear you scream, let alone probably even find your body for months on end. And in the back of the castle, like I said you have mountains going on and on as the eye could see going in that direction.

On that note, I turn back around looking at this gigantic castle. How could I describe a castle without making it sound so cliché, describing what it looks like from pictures we have all already seen. The front yard looks normal, no gaudy fountain in the front or a moat with a draw bridge that we need to cross. There was a fine bit of lawn spaced out in the front of the yard before it would touch the edges of the woods. The lawn looked immaculate, making no grass blade longer than the other and the grass was a vibrant green, almost making it look fake. Shrubbery and flowers are dotted here and there around the gigantic castle. Next to the gigantic castle seems to be some sort of a gigantic garage where all the vehicles that were on the road trip with us were going into. The big scary men just seemed to vanish into thin air, I didn't even realize when they took off and where the went to. I sort of knew though that we weren't gonna be ride of them anytime soon, like they were patrolling the perimeter of the woods or something. Like we were being watched 24/7 and we shouldn't do anything to embarrasses ourselves because they had an eye on us, that sort of feeling.

Grimsby starts ushering us up the giant staircase into the gigantic castle to get us out of the chilly air. 'Come along children, let us head on inside. It's chilly out here and I have things to attend to.' Grimsby says.

We step inside and of course we were blown away again. I think we stepped into the foyer area part. Looking around I noticed that everything inside was all modern looking. No 18th century feel about, unlike the outside of the gigantic castle. No old scary looking paintings or portraits hanging along the walls. There weren't any armored metal skeleton bodies lining the hallways or ancient old flags that people don't even remember what they are representing, going along with them. There was a grand old staircase that was in front of us that was made of wood, no outdated carpeting on it. You could see a landing the leads to the second floor from the top of the staircase. Underneath the little landing of the second floor is a hallway that looked like it led to the back area of the gigantic castle. There were doorways on either side of the foyer that went to the right and left. And from the doorways it looked like there were more hallways in both directions.

Everything was modern and up to date with is era. There a gigantic chandelier wasn't hanging in the center of the foyer. Instead, the lighting fixtures throughout the gigantic castle were lights that seem to blend in with the ceiling and all the floors looked like they were hard wood. The walls had this light grey paint on them, with the base boards painted white. It looked like even the technology was up to date in this gigantic castle.

Mikey poked me in my side and then motioned for me to turn around to the front door. I turned toward the front door, watching as the lock on the door turned all on its own. Then next to the front door I saw this touch pad that looked like it had some sort of high security system built into it. And there were all sorts of other buttons that read the many different rooms that were probably located in this gigantic castle. I feel like wherever you walked in this gigantic castle that the privacy in this place was extremely limited. Making it seem like we were in a high max security area but feeling like they stepped up their game to accommodate with the modern times.

Mikey shakes me a little and turns me back around, facing the front. That was when I noticed that someone else arrived while I was staring around.

'This is Sebastian, he is the head boss above the other butlers and maids that work here in the castle. He is here to assist you personally with anything that you need.' Grimsby starts talking again. Sebastian gives us a little bow when Grimsby introduces us. *I wonder why we get the head of butlers and maids to personally assist us. Wouldn't any other butler or maid do just of a fine job as Sebastian. Besides, wouldn't he be caring for the royals instead of us mere commoners. *

Sebastian, I would say was kind of cute looking. He did not look in the least bit like a stuffy old butler someone would assume to be looking like. Especially for someone being the head of other butlers and maids. He was not wearing an old-fashioned uniform. Just a purple polo with kaki dress pants on. He looked to be in his early 30's. But then again, it is hard to tell someone's age. Seeing as when a werewolf turns 18, our aging process starts to slow down. So, for all I know, Sebastian could be 50 and I wouldn't be able to tell. He was around JJ's height, with bleach blonde hair and blue/green eyes. The best way to describe him would be looking at a surfer dude with the year-round permanent tan. He had the hair that he would always be flipping out of his face. Sebastian even had the puka shells around his neck accompanied with the shark tooth. I bet he has a Cali accent to accompany his appearance if I was able to hear him.

'G'day dudes and dudette, if you'll follow me this way, I'll show you to your suite.' Sebastian starts to say.

Grimsby rolls his eyes at Sebastian. 'Sebastian, please refrain from lingo like that and act like you are the respectable butler you are supposed to be. We are in front of guests, not your buddies.'

'Aww, come on Jeeves, lighten up a bit. You don't have to be so stiff.' Sebastian says with an eye roll and nudging Grimsby with his elbow.

'On that note, I'll leave you with Sebastian I have things to attend to.' Grimsby says giving Sebastian a little glare and then turning around with a huff.

Sebastian snaps his fingers and then a butler seems to have materialized from thin air, which of course did not really happen. He points to our bags and the butler takes them. Sebastian starts walking towards the stairs with a suitcase in his hand as well, while we trail behind him with our backpacks slung over our shoulders. I pick up Oliver's leash, tugging him along.

'Don't mind Jeeves, he's stuck with the old ways and is a stickler for rule following. He has been here for as long as I can remember with Queen Isabella's mother. For all I could say, he could have started with the very first King and Queen. I am not quite sure, seeing as Jeeves does not really talk much, let alone about his personal life. I grew up in the palace all my life. Learning how to be the best butler one can be from my father who was head of the butlers and maids. And my father learned from his father who was head and so on and so forth. As far as I can tell we have like 5 generations going on and I am like number 5. So, as you can tell it's a family tradition that we become heads of the butlers and maids. I am the youngest one to ever obtain this position. I am 35 years old, not secretly 80 years old or anything you were thinking.' Mikey signs to me while we follow Sebastian.

'Man, this guy sure can talk, wow.' I sign to Mikey. Mikey and I giggle at the comment I made. JJ hears our giggle and turns around with a glare, telling us to zip it.

'Smh, lighten up there buddy.'

I couldn't really pay attention to where we were going while Mikey was signing to me. Hopefully, JJ knew the route we were taking to get to our room.

Looking around though, I saw the staff were wearing normal clothing. Not old ancient looking maid or butler outfits. The men I saw wore either pink or yellow polos with the khaki slacks. The women were either wearing blue or green polos with khaki slacks. The colors were pastel looking so they weren't bright colors that were to blind you. When we passed them, it seemed that they would give a sort of little bow to Sebastian then they would continue on with what they were doing. They sure seemed to respect Sebastian. Looking at them I noticed that many of them seemed to be around Sebastian's age. Not many of them looking like a bunch of old stiffs like Grimsby.

Sebastian was also our tour guide, as he would point out important rooms to as on or travels. We went up another flight of stairs to the third floor. That was when Sebastian started to slow down his pace and he opened one of the many doors lining the hallway on his right.

Sebastian opens the double doors leading into the room and let me tell you they were right about them saying it was a suite. The butler that took our bags started to distribute our things into the rooms and then left. I really was not expecting them to actually give us a suite to accommodate us for the whole week. I thought I miss heard them saying the word suite instead of saying rooms. I think it's going to take us a while to adjust to this new lifestyle that is in store for us.

'This is ours for the whole week?' Mikey asks Sebastian.

Sebastian chuckles, shaking his shoulders. 'Yep this is yours for the duration of the time you guys are staying with us. Queen Isabella thought it would be beneficial if you all stayed together. Seeing as the men and ladies are separated through the whole event so that no shenanigans happen. And seeing as you wouldn't be with your brothers and Mikey is too young to be on his own, she thought it would be best for all of you to stay together. Plus, you wouldn't have to explain Oliver and your disability to the ladies having them look at you that you are some kind of Alien.' *I am already gonna be the freak of the town no matter how isolated you guy's keep me, for the welcoming ceremony is going to happen and then everyone will know about my disability. But kudos to Queen Isabella allowing us to stay together. *

Turning back around to the suite, I would say it was very impressive to look at. It looked like I was staring at the inside of a beach house, not feeling like we are in the middle of nowhere with mountains and woods surrounding us. There seemed to be a common area and leading off from it on either side of the living room are two other sets of double doors.

'The right side is the boy's room with two King Size beds, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite connecting to the room. Your room is to the left and exactly the same stuff would be in there as well, besides, you wouldn't be having two beds. One thing you have, and the boys don't have in their rooms is that you have a balcony.' Sebastian says to us, while walking to the coffee table that was located in the middle of the living room and picking something off it. He turns around and hands the tablet to JJ.

'This tablet controls everything in this suite; to the lights, the tv, temperature, the shades on the windows, even the locks on the doors. Each room have their mini versions of the tablets to be able to control that room.' Sebastian informs us.

Sebastian presses a button on the tablet and a TV slowly rises up from the entertainment center. He presses another button and the doors open on the entertainment center and any game console you can imagine are located there. He presses the tablet a third time and the drawers of the entertainment console come open and Blue-Ray DVDS of any imaginable movie that you can think of show up there. I felt like we were in the Princess Diaries 2 movie when kept on pressing buttons in the closet and things just kept on appearing. I almost anticipated someone popping up behind a closet door, almost. Yes, I know about Disney movies, seeing as we were just in a car for 54 hours. And we are Disney fanatics, so we decided to watch a whole bunch of Disney+. JJ won't admit that he's as much as a fanatic as Mikey and myself, but Mikey says he has caught him humming to a Disney tune while he's taking a shower. As well as whenever is was our birthday, JJ would splurge a little and rent a Disney movie form the video store. And we would play them on this little DVD player that we found at a garage sale.

'I'm gonna let you guy's settle in. You have an audience with Queen Isabella in 2 hours to probably explain everything and answer any questions you might have. I will take Oliver for a quick walk and a bathroom break. If you need anything at all, there is a call button on the tablet that has my name on it. Just press it and I will come as quickly as I can. I will come back in 2 hours to escort you to Queen Isabella. Come along Oliver.' Sebastian says, taking his leash. Oliver glances at me and I shoo him with my hand saying it's okay to go with him.

'When you come back with Oliver, can I get some Twizzlers and a Snickers bar?' I sign to Mikey. Mikey says to Sebastian while giving JJ a pointed look. JJ has this knowing look on his face, I look at the two of them, not knowing what is going on.

'Sure,' Sebastian says with a puzzled look on his face.

Closing the door on them and turning around to face my brothers, I just let out a huge breath of air. These past few days have been exhausting. I don't know how the boys feel but I feel like I could go to sleep for the whole duration that we are here, missing everything.

'Well, I'm gonna go unpack and take a nice bath to wash away the long journey.' Still giving them a weird look since they were both staring at me with pointed looks that I somehow should know what's going on.

'What?' I ask them.

'Oh, it's nothing, you'll find out soon enough. We will do the same.' JJ says, with a shake of his head and heads towards their room. I stare at Mikey and raise my eyebrow at him, and he just shakes his head as well and follows after JJ. *Okay, weirdos. *

I head into my room and man, could I not get anymore surprised on this journey of ours. I am guessing that there are more surprises to come and I really need to get used it by now.

My room consisted of the colors of blues and hints of black. There was a huge king-sized bed in the middle of the room that had blue and black ombre colors for the sheets, pillows, and comforter. The king-sized bed was set into a dark wood bedframe. On either side of the bed were the same dark wood color for nightstands. They even had a giant dog bed for Oliver to sleep on, with dog toys next to the bed. Across from the bed was the same dark wood color for a long dresser. On the left-hand side of the bed, from when you walk in through the door. There were sliding doors that lead out onto the balcony. The view was incredible to look at. Seeing now that I can see the gorgeous mountains a lot clearly now that the gigantic castle wasn't obstructing the view. On the right-hand side of the bed you had two doors, which I am guessing one leads to the walk-in closet and the other to the bathroom.

I set my backpack on my bed and upon setting it down, I notice a mini tablet that can control the room. I am guessing the TV rises up from the dresser, like in the living room, because I don't see a TV right now. I pick up the mini tablet and start heading to one of the doors on the right-hand side.

I push the button that says lights for closet. I look up and notice the doorway near the corner of the room lights up. I walk in and am blown away again. It literally looks like closet in Princess Diaries 2. All these buttons pop up on the mini tablet and I start pressing them of course. It felt like a mini shopping mall in my closet. I had everything except for the tiaras of course. I even had some very fancy looking jewelry in one of the drawers that I was afraid to even touch.

Then I head back out and push the button for the bathroom lights. Seeing the doorway near the front lights up. It was gorgeous walking into the bathroom. It was so big, I felt like our old apartment could fit in this bathroom. It had literally a waterfall shower stall that was in one corner of the bathroom. It had one of those fancy looking toilets in another corner. A bath tube that looked like you could take a few laps in it. Two sinks near the doorway. It was all too fancy for me. That if I touched anything in that bathroom, something could break.

I figured out that there was a touch pad on the side of shower stall to adjust the water temperature, pressure, and random jets located in the shower stall that looked like fancy smelling soaps came from them. There was also a button where you can transition the glass so that no one could look in on you while you were taking a shower. The bathtub had a touch pad for its own system as well. Different buttons to control the jacuzzi system as well as the different fragrances that came out of the jets as well. There seemed to be a TV mounted above the bathtub.

The mirror above the sinks even had a touch pad as well. Indicating the time and temperature. It looked like you could sync your phone to the touch pad. Even had a small screen to watch tv on while getting ready, I guess. *Why do they have so many TV'S? *

I was going through the drawers because, it wasn't like I was not gonna snoop. And plus, Sabastian did say make yourselves comfortable and he didn't tell us nothing was off limits. You had the usual bathroom needs as well as what a girl would need. Like makeup, perfumes, and then I realized they even had feminine products. That made me count in my head to remember when my time of the month was. Then I realized that I was due anytime and with all this craziness that was going on I forgot about it until I saw the products. That is why I asked for Twizzlers and a Snickers bar because I crave them when it's my time of month. I will say one thing, Mother Nature is a B***H!

The first couple of days are the worst for me. I have terrible cramps that they make me stay in bed for the first two days. I feel bloated and fat and cranky, I basically get all the symptoms. Not a pretty sight, never is a pretty sight for any woman going through it through it. I always wish that I would miss a month, but nope, my wish never comes true.

Yeah, we are werewolves and you are thinking that women don't go through it. That they have the heat when they first transform into their wolf. After that they don't experience anything after that. Well that is just a bunch of bologna. We are humans first before we became werewolves, so of course we have Mother Nature knocking at our door every month. But one good thing though, we don't have to worry about going through menopause, because the wolf side shot that down. But we do have our periods every month unless we are pregnant of course, or we are over the age of 50. Being 50 and having a baby at that age is not weird, seeing as I said before our aging process slows down once, we transform into a wolf. We can have struggles in conceiving a baby as well, so that is why there are fertility doctors available. A fertility doctor helped conceived JJ and I, because I guess our parents were having a hard time trying to have a baby. The same fertility doctor made it so that our parents could have Mikey as well. And no, no crazy males try and attack us while we are on our periods. They can smell if you are on your period. Then again anyone can smell if you are on your period because of the super strong-smelling werewolf nose we have.

I finish getting ready to meet Queen Isabella. Trying to find a decent outfit that we brought with us that would look presentable in front of a Queen. We didn't bring a lot with us when we left our apartment. I did not feel comfortable in choosing an outfit from the closet. Thinking I might spill something on it or rip it.

I head into the living room and find the boys already broke out one of the game consoles. I think they are playing with the Switch, playing Mario Kart. I see Oliver curled up on one of the couches and I curl up with him, dreading the next couple of days.

Mikey glances towards me with a smirk on his face and says, 'So you figured it out did ya.'

'Shut up.' I say, giving him the evil eye.

I will say though my brothers are the best when it comes to my period. They get me what ever I need, even running out to the store if I run out of female products. They give me cold compresses for the cramps. They know that I don't mean anything bad towards them when I am cranky with them. That is one of the many reasons I love them so much.

The boys turn off the TV because I guess it was time to go. Seeing as Mikey goes and opens the door and on the other side stands Sebastian. He must have knocked and that's why Mikey doesn't look surprised to see him on the other side of the door.

'All right, it's time to go meet Queen Isabella.' Sebastian says.
