Chapter 5

Who really is ready to meet royalty? Let alone The Queen of all werewolves. So, we give Sebastian a deadpan look, saying no.

'It was just a rhetorical question, don't need to give me those looks. Gesh guys.' Sebastian says, shaking his head a little while heading back out the door.

We all just trudge after Sebastian. I leave Oliver in the room because he looked dead tired and I was going to be with my brothers, going to see Queen Isabella, so I figured it would be fine. I wanted to curl up along with him on the couch, because I was exhausted as well. And as well as I was experiencing some cramps now. Boo to being a woman.

I was able to pay attention to my surroundings a lot better since Sebastian was not chatting our ears off, haha, this time around. We took a left out of our room instead of going to the right. Taking us to the back staircase instead of going to the front staircase. Along our way, we passed more doors on either side of us, probably leading to into more suites I presume. Going down the stairs, all the way to the first floor. We traveled through multiply hallways, twisting and turning this way and that. I thought I was about to get a major headache if we didn't get to where we were going soon.

We come to a halt in front of an intricate looking wooden door. Engraved into the wooden door was a tribal wolf howling at the sky, with a dream catcher in the background surrounding the wolf like a halo. It was the most beautiful, exquisite looking piece of art that I have seen in my entire lifetime. I could have stared at that door for hours and find something new to find on that door, seeing how intricate it truly was.

Mikey nudges me in my ribs to get my attention, with his shoulder shaking, laughing at me. I give him the What look, and he points to where Sabastian was standing with a smirk on his face as well. I then realized that my mouth was hanging slightly open, making me look like a fish out of water. Closing my mouth quickly, feeling slightly embarrassed.

Sabastian knocks on the door and then turns to us. 'Let me introduce your Majesties, Queen Isabella and King Ivan.' Sabastian gives a slight bow, while ushering us in.

Walking into the room, felt like we were stepping into a whole new setting all together. All offices should look like this one in front of us if this was considered an office. It had an airy feel about the place. There wasn't clutter littered everywhere, no giant looming book shelves filled to the point that it would topple over on you. There were comfy couches scattered throughout the room that I bet if you sat in you would almost be put to sleep in an instant. There was an oak desk that had a few desk knickknacks upon it, as well as a laptop placed upon it.

Behind the desk though, the view was breath taking to looking at. They had these gigantic double doors that seemed to be open to let in a nice breeze to blow in. Upon seeing the double doors open, you could see a patio just beyond the double doors laying out there. In the backdrop though, the Mountains could be seen very clearly, it almost looked like the backyard butts right up to the mountains, it was magnificent to look at. Of course, the mountains weren't literally butting up to their backyard, there were trails that could be seen winding into the woods.

This time JJ literally pinches the side of my waist making me jump in order to get my attention. While I was staring around the office, apparently introductions were made and I was not even paying attention, making it so that everyone's eyes were looking at me. I give a little growl at JJ, with an annoyed look on my face. JJ just rolls his eyes at me and inclines his head towards the person sitting behind the oak desk. Mikey just shrugs his shoulders with a smirk on his face.

I somehow passed by noticing the person sitting behind the desk, while I was staring around the room. I noticed that there was a person next to the person sitting in the chair. Grimsby was present as well, standing to the other side of the person sitting in the chair, wearing a sour look on his face. Sabastian must have quietly let himself out, while I was staring around and turning a deaf ear to the introductions. Haha

Getting back to the person sitting in the chair was no other than Queen Isabella. She looked like Moana's mom Sina, from Moana. A side note, as you probably have noticed I describe people through cartoon characters that I have seen on TV. I am not really great with names of the actors that portray the characters, so I just name the character since they are a lot easier to remember. I could feel so much power radiating from her, that I felt like I should kneel on my knees and go into submission. But she also had this homey vibe thing around her as well. A nurturing side of a loving mother would have to her children that I forgot what it feels like to even have a caring mother. That she is a devoted mother and wife, as well as a Queen that knows when to get down to business. Queen Isabella chuckles at probably the confused expression that I must have been showing on my face. Then she starts singing, as well as speaking normally to us.

'Welcome children, my name is Queen Isabella Costella, Queen of all the werewolves. Coming from a great lineage that I won't bore you too much with the details. This guy to my left is my husband, King Ivan Costella. (He looked like the guy from The Legend of Korra, Baatar Jr.) As you are all aware of the other guy next to me, our trusted advisor Jeeves.'

Walking around to the front of her desk, she ushers us to the many couches that are scattered around the room. She gestures for us to sit on the coaches as she sits down opposite from us. Man was I correct in saying these couches looked so comfy. I let out a small sigh for just sitting on them, felt like they were made from clouds; they were light and incredibly soft to the touch. Mikey signs to me, since Queen Isabella had her head turned towards us.

'You gentlemen may leave us. Please send in Sebastian with refreshments and snacks. My love, I'll see you at dinner time.' At that part, Mikey makes a face and I let a little giggle. JJ gives us a look and we settle down again. I feel like JJ has been giving us looks way too much lately. Turning back around to us, Queen Isabella starts signing and talking to us again.

'You are all wondering what is going on, what's with all the secrecy and many more questions you have. Let me tell you everything, please don't interrupt me, because it would take longer to explain. I am sure I will be answering most of your questions any ways through my explanation. '

Sebastian comes in with a tray of a variety of sandwiches and he has a maid follow behind with a tray of different sodas on it. Then he bows out of the room, a quick wink towards us and takes the maid with him.

'Let me start off by saying that I am truly sorry for your loss. Your parents were close friends to us, especially your mother. She was my best friend, I considered her as a sister to me, since I didn't have any siblings growing up.' My brother's and I stared at each other with wide eyes. Then that wasn't even the craziest news we have heard; the best was to come apparently.

'Your parents were Alpha and Luna of the North American Territories.' *Pew, mind Blown. "

The territories of how they are divided are pretty much divided into the Continents of the world. You have North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica. Then those territories are broken down into subcategories. They have a North, East, South and West sections divided in those areas. These areas are then watched over by Deltas who then report back to the Alphas and Lunas on a day to day basis. Seeing as there is only one Alpha and Luna and the Betas cannot be the ones in charge of the sections because there are only one set of those. And they must oversee the territories while the Alpha and Luna are away, being their second in command. Then you have the Gammas who are our warriors, so they cannot very well watch over the sections. That is when we go to the Deltas of the territories to oversee the sections. Best way to describe everything; you have The Queen and King rulers of the world, then you have the Alphas and Lunas which are considered the presidents in human terms. Next you have the Gammas who are the Military branch. Last you have the Deltas who are considered to be the Governor's.

'Your parents were going to tell you everything, when you guys got a little older. They thought it be best that they kept you in the dark because they wanted you to grow up to have a normal childhood. They did not want you guys to have to deal with the whole world resting on your shoulders at a very young age. Didn't you ever wonder who the people were that came to see your parents? Or what your parents were doing while you guys were in school or daycare. They were running the territory while you guy's, somewhat had a normal childhood.' Queen Isabella's pauses in her speech, letting us process all this new information, while grabbing for a sandwich.

*None of this makes any sense. Our parents were normal people. Not an Alpha and Luna, let alone in charge of the most powerful territory and biggest. I always thought those were people that my parents loved to help out. They are those kinds of people that helped their community out. If they saw you having car troubles on the side of the road, they would pull over and see if they could fix it. If you needed to get somewhere and did not have a ride, they would offer to drive you. They would always welcome a new family into the community with a nice homemade casserole. They went above and beyond helping their community and now I sort of see the reason for them to do those types of things. As well as they had good hearts, seeing the best in most people. Just thinking about them almost tears me up. * JJ reaches over and pats his hand on top of mine, remembering the kind of parents we had. Mikey just patted our backs since he was too little to remember them. We would tell him stories of their kindness to the community.

'On top of the news, you have an Uncle that is trying to kill you.' Queen Isabella says nonchalantly. *Wait up! Hold up! We have an Uncle! And he is trying to kill us! Is there anything else that isn't going to surprise us? * My head is starting to hurt from information overload.

'He is your great Uncle on your father's side, making him your father's Uncle. Your parents never talked about him because he became insane when he lost his mate. Then when your parents passed away the Alpha title happened to pass to the nearest kin, which would have gone to you guys, but you weren't of age, so it went to your Uncle. When you become 18, not only you find your mate, the power of becoming Alpha, Beta and Delta gets transferred to you as well. That "accident" that your parents were in, was no accident. Your Uncle planned on killing them just so we could become Alpha.'

*Our parents and JJ and I were all in a car crash. No one ever told us the specifics of what truly happened. Mikey wasn't with us at the time, he was with the babysitters. But we were all coming home from JJ's and my tee ball game. We were all hyped up on adrenaline because we won the game of the season. So, we decided to stop by Dairy Queen to celebrate our awesome winning and to end the season. We always got Dairy Queen to be honest after ever game. We jumped back into the car with our ice creams in hand. JJ thought it would be fun to boop my nose with drop of whip cream. Of course, getting a reaction out of me, he loved to tease me so much. My mom turns around to us in the back, trying to assess the situation. We were just turning out of the parking lot when it happened. A semi-truck just plows head on into the front of our car. There was no way in dodging it, killing our parents instantly. Just barley grazing JJ and I, sitting in the back seat, we both some how came out of the wreck without any severe damages. *

'The Delta's were not happy with your Uncle coming into power. They all came to the exact same conclusion that the car wreck was planned, and your Uncle wanted to wipe you all out at the same time. Not even realizing that Mikey was not there and that he would become the Alpha once he turned 18. The Delta's have their hands tied because they cannot prove that your Uncle sent someone to massacre you. And they don't want to stir up anything until you guys become the rightful heirs, turning 18. Because they don't want a war to erupt within the North America Territory and making them leave their positions and having your Uncle put more unpleasant people in charge. We have spies located within North America saying that your Uncle is about to start a war with the other territories. He wants to take over the world and start his own monarchy. There are people getting behind him and supporting his beliefs of how the monarchy isn't what it used to be. That we should all go back to living in the 18th century, where there is only the monarchy in power. Having dungeons and cruel punishments handed out. He has made secret explosives that wipe out entire towns, new mecha tanks, warships and air crafts.

Your Uncle knows that when you turn 18 that all the Alpha power goes away. That is why there was a protection service for you guys when you were traveling here. And that is why for the first time in history the celebration is going to be held here at the palace. We have never hosted it here at the palace because for one it felt like an invasion of privacy having a bunch of random people up in your personal space. The second reason is that the palace is the safest place on Earth that no one can get in, without being invited in. There is a perimeter around this whole place that anyone who steps foot on the place and who is not welcomed, we will know about it. Callum that you have met through your traveling here, is the best of the best for our security team. He is head of all Gammas. Tunneling underground would be hard to do, seeing as we back up to the mountains on one side and the other thing is that the ground is made of clay. Clay is the densest and heaviest type of soil, in turn making it hard for moisture and air to penetrate through it.

When your parents passed away, we were truly devastated. We went in search of you guys, to make sure you were all right. It took months in locating where you guys went. I know, we should have let you guys come to the palace to live the rest of your lives once we found you guys, until you turned 18. But I realized it was in the best interests that no one knew that you were alive, including your Uncle. Your Uncle gave up the search of finding you guys, but then again, he really wasn't trying hard in locating you. He was more in his own mind with being able to achieve the Alpha position and yes, "taking over the world".

Of course, I kept tabs on you children when we were finally able to find you. I had my people on the inside, helping you guys out. How one of the people happened to mention where you kids could stay with out questions asked. How the landlord never questioned a pair of two 9-year olds and a baby coming to stay. How you practically went home with a warm dinner almost every time you went to the library. I am truly sorry that I could not do more for your wellbeing, I was only thinking of being able to protect you children.

As for your living situation, all the Alpha's children have their own suite. The third floor consists of the children of the Alphas, Lunas, and Betas, as well as the Deltas. Second floor consists of the Military children and the rest of the children that don't have titles. First floor you have the conference rooms, pool house, recreation room, movie theater, my office, ball room, kitchen, the staff headquarters, the gym, living room, dining room, and family room. The fourth floor is where we live. We do not have dungeons where we torture people to get information out of them. There are court rooms just off the premise where we hold trials in determining one's fate.

Now that I am finished speaking, do you children have any questions or concerns?' Queen Isabella asks us each in turn.

I am not sure what to say or even think of. I glance at my brothers and they seem to be in the same boat as me, speechless.

'Come along children, it's time to eat dinner. You can also meet the rest of my family as well. We can discuss more on the subject later. My door is always open for any questions or concerns you may have pertaining to this subject. I know it is a lot to process, as well as you are all probably exhausted and in need of a warm meal.' Queen Isabella says, while standing up heading to the doorway where Sebastian was standing.

We all trudge after the pair of them, all of us lost in our own minds. I do not know about my brothers, but I felt like I could not eat at a time like this. I know for one thing that I was exhausted. What with everything happening in the past few days, all the information that we were given, and on top it, stupid Mother Nature.

Turning the corner into a room though, I did not realize how hungry I was though. In front of us was a table filled with mouthwatering foods, and the smells to go along with it was making me salivate at the corners of my mouth. I slowly walked towards the table, not even noticing my surrounding this time around. Some butler comes and brings out a chair for me to sit down in it, I nod towards him with a thanks. JJ jabs me in my rib cage, making me come out of my reverie. I glance at him with an annoyed expression on my face. While he gives a slight smile, shaking his head and nodding towards the front of the table.

At the head of the table, I see Queen Isabella settling in at the head. 'Let's not waste anymore time and dig into this magnificent feast that has been provided for us here.' She signs and speaks.

*Don't have to tell me twice to dig in. I love food, as much as I love sleep. Sleep and food, food and sleep. *

I slowly look around at my surroundings now that I was filling my belly. I notice that we are in a small dining room with gigantic windows covering 3 out of the 4 walls. One side was facing the mountains, the other side was facing the front of the house, and the ones that I was looking though showed a massive garden. The sun was setting, which was a magnificent view, but I was unable to see the details of what was in the garden.

I noticed looking around that Oliver came down and was eating next to 3 other dogs. The 3 other dogs were all different breeds. One was a German Shepard, one was a Siberian Husky, and the last one was a Dalmatian.

'Those are our dogs, obviously.' Mikey nudges me, while he nods in the direction of someone speaking to us. I glance over and notice that there were two twin boys sitting right across from us, looking at us. They looked like Jim Hawkins, from Treasure Planet.

'The German Shepard's name is Ki, the Siberian Husky's name is Hercules, and the Dalmatian's name is Nala; our sisters service dog.' At that comment, my brothers and I stare at the twin's comment.

'She is blind.' One of the twins say matter-of-factly.

'I am blind, not deaf, I can speak for myself you know.' Everyone looks towards the voice that spoke up. There was a small girl that was sitting at the other end of the table. She kind of looked like Moana.

'What, what is everyone staring at? Is there something on my face?' The little girl says, while Mikey signs for me. I just chuckle at that, knowing perfectly well that wasn't the reason why everyone was staring at her.

'Kennedy Bryant Costella, please refrain for making disturbing noises from your body while we are in front of guests.' King Ivan scolds his son, with a chuckle and a shake of his shoulders to the boy that is sitting next to Mikey and near his sister. Kennedy looked like a younger version of Greg Hovanessian.

'What, I felt it was unfair for Bailey having all the attention.' Kennedy says.

'Let me introduce the rest of my family before desserts comes.' Queen Isabella says. 'As you have already met my husband, King Ivan.' He was sitting next to Queen Isabella, on her right side.

'Next you have Chadwick and his mate Annabeth.' He was sitting on the other side of his father. He looked like Tyler Hoechlin and his mate looked like Maisie Richardson-Sellers.

'Then there's Kennedy and he will be participating in the event this year, he just turned 18. The twins that are across from you are Hunter and Ian. Finally, you have Bailey, the youngest and only girl full of boys.'

I noticed a missing body next to JJ's seat. The family though seemed to be oblivious to the empty chair at the table, so I did not bring it up. As well as I thought I was about to fall asleep right then and there, with my belly full of scrumptious food. Queen Isabella released us from the table, the family members going their separate ways. We headed back to our suite following Sebastian back, with Oliver trailing behind us.

I said goodnight to my brothers and turned towards my room. Pulling on my pajamas and just crashing into the comfiest bed I have ever laid in, with Oliver curled up along my side.
