CHAPTER 5 THE NEW HOUSE

"Hey big sis" Tyndall called vivaciously.

She and Melissa were in their new living room. The house that was given to Melissa by the company.

"Yes sweety" she replied.

"How's Drew?" She asked smiling.

Melissa frowned slightly. "What kind of question is that?"

Tyndall smiled. "You haven't told us anything about him since we arrived here" she replied.

"He's still with his manners" she said grumpily.

Tyndall rolled her eyes. Melissa has always been telling them about the way he treats her not it was the other way round when they met him. She could vividly remember how he appeared on their door one late morning.

Tyndall was the one who went to open the door. She was so shocked that her heart almost flew out of her chest. She has never seen such a handsome man in her entire life. He was standing there with a god-like glory. His fragrance filling the aura he was emitting. The most shocking thing was that he gave her one if his rare sweet smile and Tyndall almost collapsed. She felt that God just came to their door step to smile on them.

To her surprise, when Melissa appeared, he made a straight face quickly that if she had sworn to anyone that he just smiled at her they would not still believe her. She wondered why the change.

"Melly let's move" he ordered.

Melissa didn't know why he was the one who came to escort her to her new apartment. She was only expecting his guy to do the job but seeing him was really surprising.

"He will never change" she murmured. "Sir I hate nicknames. Just call me Melissa" she said politely.

Drew didn't even behave as if he heard her. He just went back to Hus car while his guys did the packing.

Tyndall and Somaria just looked at Drew from afar. They know they were to show some respect and greet him but they didn't know if he would wash them with words if they move closer (this was due to what Melissa do tell them about his attitude towards her). So they just whispered to themselves and looked at him.

"That guy is indeed proud. He can't even wait for us to greet him properly" Tyndall complained.

She really detest being ignored.

"Don't get close to him and tell him that" Somaria warned.

"I won't do that" she snapped.

"It can slip Tyndall. Just know that anything you say is at Melissa's expense" she said emphatically.

"I know" Tyndall pouted.

Drew knew the girls were talking about him and he smiled. He knew the ladies would have heard a lot from their sister and he doesn't care. He beckoned on them to come.

"Get in the car" he said.

The two ladies looked at each other and moved back a bit even though they were already at a distance.

Drew smiled. "Are you two scared of me?"

They looked at eachother again and said nothing.

"Can you stop looking at yourselves and answer me. C'mon act like the adult you are" he said in a mocking look.

"Big sis is not here and we can't go anywhere without her" Tyndall replied quickly.

"Big sis" he snorted. "I'm not taking you anywhere. I only told you to enter the car to sit so that you can stop staring at me like I'm some villain here" he said in mockery. "Or what has your sister been feeding you about me?"

Melissa saw Drew talking to her sisters. He wasn't someone who talks to people so she thought her sisters may have said something to make him scold them. Especially Tyndall she's not the type to accommodate Drew's cold attitude. She quickly walked to them and she heard his last statement.

"I didn't feed them with anything you didn't do" she replied jumping right in front of her sisters.

Drew snorted and the edge of his lips twisted. He couldn't help but smirk at her defensive side for her sisters. Does she really think him a bully.

"Hey! I'm not going to be them up".

Melissa didn't believe he almost smiled. He is always making a straight face.

When he saw that her stern look didn't change, he thought he didn't believe him. "I only told them to get in the car" he added.

"Must we ride with you?" She questioned.

"Yes it's an order" he replied entering his car.

"Are you driving?" She asked when she saw him move to the driver's seat.

"Yes I love driving" he winked at Tyndall.

Tyndall almost got a heart stop while Melissa gave an alarming look and looked at Tyndall who blinked severally thinking she just saw wrong. Somaria too wasn't exempted in the shocking scene, she raised her brow showing her amazement.

Drew saw their reaction and he smiled secretly. "You three shouldn't think I'll drive while you seat at the back placing me as your taxi driver. So Melly, to the front" he commanded coldly when he saw that they were about to move to the back seat.

Melissa sighed knowing she's the one destined to encounter this guy's cold attitude. She obeyed without complaint not wanting her sisters to see her display disobedience to her boss. They would surely scold her. But sincerely, she wished she could sit behind him so as not to see his cold face.

As they journeyed, Tyndall was so tired of the silence. She felt so restless that it got to a stage she couldn't take it anymore and words flew out of her mouth unknowingly.

"What's your name" when she realise she just spoke, she covered her mouth looking at her sisters with an apologetic look.

They thought Drew won't answer since the words weren't polite enough.

"Your sister should have told you that" he replied to their shock.

"Hmm she did but that should be once I think and she's always saying my boss so I've forgotten your name" she replied happy that she's talking.

"Oh she has painted me so black" he looked at Melissa who sat like a log of wood.

"No she didn't" she quickly defended.

"Can't believe that" he argued.

"I'm serious. All she just say is that my boss I don't understand the guy. No matter how much I ask, she would just tell me to ignore it" she said with sincerity.

"Seriously?" He asked looking at Melissa and this time around their eyes met and she looked away quickly which made him chuckle.

"But are you really bad?" She asked like a bairn.

"Tyndall!" Somaria called in a firm whisper.

"Tyndall. What a nice name you've got" he said with a brief glance at her.

"Thanks. Dad named me after his favourite author" she explained.

"John Tyndall?"

"Yes".

"But the name is mostly bore by males".

"Dad wanted a male but got another female me so he didn't care for the gender, he just gave me the name since he loved it" she replied. "You didn't answer my question".

"Drew Kmetko" he replied.

"Nice meeting you you Mr Kmetko" she smiled happily.

Drew smiled back. "Drew would be fine".

"Do you have any sibling?" She asked enthusiastic about their conversation.

"Tyndall" Somaria whispered.

Tyndall looked at her and widen her eyes to ask why she was called.

"No I don't. My mum died trying to give me one" he replied softly.

Tyndall looked a little sad. Somaria gave her a queer look letting her know she was talking too much. Even Melissa didn't know he lost his mother and she pitied him. She didn't look at him so that he won't see the sadness on her face.

"Oh apologies. Didn't know that" she said a little pale.

"How will you when you won't stop talking" Somaria grumbled.

"Hey Somaria, it's only an harmless question" he said calmly.

Somaria and Tyndall exchanged look. They were surprise at the name he called.

"Do you too like exchanging looks so much?" He teased.

"We were just surprised how you got to know her name" Tyndall replied.

"I work with your sis" he replied.

This time Melissa talked.

"It's not as if we do discuss them or that I wrote their names on my resume" she almost gave a murmur.

He snorted.

"The how did you know?" Tyndall asked wanting to know.

"You don't know him. He is a monitoring spirit on its own. There's nothing he doesn't know" Melissa replied.

Drew burst into laughter. He couldn't help it. The over seriousness of Melissa got him amused. Melissa was surprised that he laughed. It was so rare to see him smile and now he is laughing.

Melissa felt at ease seeing him laugh. The aura became cool and conducive unlike the cold and tensed aura he do emit. She didn't know why she felt calm but she loved it and want it to continue.

"You seem nice to me"

Tyndall's words brought her out of her thinking.

"Tsk" she sounded looking at him disdainfully.

Drew smiled at her words. He knew the other side will be Melissa's because he has never treated her has someone close. He couldn't fathom the reason why he felt so close to her sister. At first he thought because they are striking beauty just has their sisters but now he's feeling like he got a new family.

No one as ever oozed such feeling out of him. He feels relax talking to Tyndall. She seems so unique and sweet.

"Has anyone told you otherwise?" He asked fixi his gaze on Melissa who was listening well to their conversation.

Melissa knew those words were for her but she didn't care.

"No but you know rich folks always want to feel superior to those at average level" she said vehemently.

"My dad didn't school me that way. He tells me everybody deserves my respect and good attitude".

The look Melissa gave him showcased that he didn't accept the schooling which he knew was by the reason of how she's been treated by him which he so much enjoy.

"Wow! That's really good of him" Tyndall said smiling. "How is Big sis coping at work?" She inserted and received Melissa and Somaria's glare!

"So far she's been good at her work. The only problem I do have with her is that she is too arrogant" he replied intentionally abusive.

"I'm not arrogant" Melissa snapped and glared.

"That's not true. Big sis si one of the most gentle being I've even known. Trust me I don't know much and I've never seen her behave arrogantly" she defended.

Drew smiled. "Don't let her cajole you with her innocent look. She really knows how to give polite insult and she do have a bad mouth" he said disdainfully.

"Just because I do scold your rude manners doesn't mean I'm arrogant" she said bluntly.

"I don't have rude manners. I can't behave the way you think it's fine. It is my life Melly, I don't live it for anyone" he said blankly.

"Who told you to live your life for me?" She hissed.

"Is this how you two behave at work?" Tyndall asked with interest.

"Your sis hates me".

"I hate no one" she said baldly.

"Of course you do and I don't care. But I think I like you Tyndall" he said grinning.

"Thank you" Tyndall said shyly.

"Tin, why don't we go on a date"

He intentionally said that because he wanted to see Melissa's reaction.

"On a date!" Tyndall was shocked at his request.

"You aren't asking my sis out. Are you?" Melissa butt in.

"What if I am?" He replied intentionally provoking her.

Melissa's eyes changed to that of a fire goodness which Drew finds beautiful.

"No way will I allow that. I won't let you treat my sister the way you treat those your common girls. She is a treasure" she dinned.

Drew gave her a mocking look. He just saw her defensive side and he was enjoying it.

"Tin, we can take Somaria along if Melly feels something sinful about it but trust me, it's just based on friendship since I like your spirit" he explained to Tyndall who was still looking dazed.

What was really making Tyndall speechless wasn't the date but the fact that the almighty Dr Kmetko that every lady including men will do anything to hang out with just asked her on a friendly date saying he likes her. It was really surprising. If he had said it behind her back she wouldn't have believed seven if they almost beat her to death.

Everyone who hasn't met Drew Kmetko were of the thought that he is just like the rest of the billionaire brat who care less about the feelings of others but having him here preached otherwise.

"I told you I hate nicks. Just call my name in full" Melissa said amist gritted teeth.

"Sorry Miss, I hate long names also. So you just have to get used to it" he replied in backchat.

Melissa gave a grieving sigh.

"So what do you think Ria?"

"Ria" Tyndall called not knowing what he meant.

"Yes Somaria. I told you I hate long names" he replied.

"Wow! That's cool. Ria. Never thought of it before" she said smiling.

She was really enjoying herself in the conversation. Even Somaria seems impressed with the Nick. No one has ever made her name sound so sweet to the ears. She didn't like the nicks she had been given earlier. Some called her Maria, some Soma but none gave her the new feeling the one Drew called just now. She felt blessed and she couldn't help but smile.

"No wonder you shortened your name to Drew in the stead of Andrew" she added.

"Smart girl" he said. "Ria you haven't answered me".

" I'll think about it" Somaria replied not knowing what else to say.

"Hey don't be afraid of your sis. You are old enough to take your own decisions. Just ignore her"

He made his words sound more like an order than the advice it was suppose to be.

"Don't tell my sisters what is not just because you want them to go out with you" she said harshly.

"Are you jealous I'm not asking you instead?" He mocked.

She snorted. "What nonsense. What exactly is there ti be jealous of. Do I in anyway look like those weak ladies that can do anything to go out with you? What's so interesting to go out with such annoying person like you. I will even start to pray and fast if my sisters are to go out with you" she said with grimace leaving an heavy hint of criticism.

Drew laughed out loud. "Are you serious girl?"

Melissa eyed him and he laughed the more. She hate it when he mockery of her. She wondered how he isn't affected by his words. Her sisters couldn't help but smile at her words. They know if they join Drew in laughing it will be equal to mocking their sister and that won't be good.

"Ria just cone to me if she hits you, I'll help deal with her" he said bossily.

Melissa burst into laughter even though she didn't find it funny.

"Why laugh? You think it's an empty threat?" He gave a straight face.

" Good that you know and sir, I don't hit my sisters" she said with pride.

The house they drove to is a massive building. The girls couldn't help but feel amazed at the house and asked in their heart if they were the one who would live here. They only saw buildings like this in movies. Although they love to have those houses but they didn't see it coming. It was he well detached duplex with nice environment that will only make you think of Paradise. The smell of the little tress was adding more to the building. They were wowed by the surroundings.

"Wow! Big sis, all this for you?" Tyndall asked but received no answer.

Drew she's them around , telling them how things were used and operated. It was really a lecture day because there were lot of things they didn't know how to use. Amist it Drew's phoned rang and he told his assistant to continue from where he stopped while he went ahead to receive his call. The girls except Melissa ran to check out their rooms as one of the home engineers helped them to it.

Melissa stopped by to check out the art work on the walls. She took her time seeing them one after the other.

She was surprised to see the signature of the artist on it. She didn't believe it could be him. She turned to the assistant who was following her diligently.

"Who's art work us this?" She asked as if she never knew.

It's Brade Shale's design" he replied looking at the art work with interest.

"Are you kidding me? Don't tell me it's the same popular artist Brade Shale?" She said with much amazement.

"Of course ma'am. That's his signature".

"I saw it but it is too hard to believe. I've always loved his work but they are too expensive for me to afford so I just admire them online" she said inhaling as if to small the art work.

The guy kept mute not knowing what to say neither do talking Melissa expect a reply. She just continued talking.

"When the man built that sculpture with a hand carrying a young crying girl, I wept because I was not allowed to see it" she said with a distance look as she remembered that day.

That day was when her so called friend left her for the guy who disgrace her and call her dirt. The guy actually invited her friend to the Shale's art gallery and her then friend took her along since she was aware if her love for Shale's art. But the guy insulted her and told her friend that if she insist on letting her tag along, he would end things with her and ever since her friend has always ignored her.

Just now take a look that same mans art that she was disgraced for now filled her house. Even the guy couldn't afford to buy one but could only get a ticket to see them. For this she was grateful to the one who decorated the house.

"The person who decorated the house must be a huge fan" she made a statement instead of a question.

"Yes ma'am. He put the art in all the rooms" he replied smiling as if he gained something from it.

"Interesting. That must have cost a fortune".

"He's capable".

Melissa turned and faced the guy with an interested inquisitive look. "Who decorated it?"

Although she had someone in mind who is the only person she knew could have such luxury but she didn't want to jump to conclusion because of her doubts.

"You should know ma'am".

"Oh oh" she smiled.

"Won't you go take a look at your room?" She heard from behind.

No wonder the guy beside her stopped talking. Drew was right behind them.

"Just seeing the art".

"Didn't know you are a lover of one"

He was watching her trace the art is her finger. The scene felt romantic to him as she admired the work.

"Love it but can't afford it. I do sometimes go to the public gallery near the museum but I particularly love Brade Shade. I would have sold my arm to get one but now it seem God already answered my prayers and made someone give me a house full of it" she said with a bright smile.

Gratitude was glittering in her blue eyes. Drew could see down to her soul and how happy she was. He knew he'd please her this day and he was so happy with himself.

Tyndall bursted out from a corner. "Big sis you have to see this" she shouted pulling Melissa.

Drew followed just to see what triggered her excitement.

"Don't you see? This room looked exactly like those beautiful hotels in commercials on TV. This is just awesome" she jubilates while Melissa smiled. "The decorator is suburb. Look at all the decor, it is just so perfect and exquisite. Wow the folk deserve my huge hug. Had it been I know who made me so happy, I wouldn't mind spending my last saving on a date with the person just to show how grateful I am" she said looking around with so much enthusiasm.

Melissa smiled at her words. Little did she know about who she just made happy.

"Do you have any hint of who did this? I must show my appreciation" she asked quickly.

Melissa looked at Drew who had an amuse look on but when he saw Melissa look back he wore Gus godlike straight face immediately.

"Yeah, that's true. I shouldn't as you but him" she said moving closer to Drew who gave her a warm look.

Tyndall thought that Melissa looking at Drew meant that she should ask him but it was saying it's him.

Melissa shook her head. "He decorated it all" she said casually.

"Who? Drew?" She asked not believing what she heard and maybe she heard wrong.

Drew gave Melissa a plain look, thinking how did she get to know.

Tyndall smiled thinking that Melissa was playing around.

"Drew's got no such time" she argued waved her hand to show she didn't buy that.

"And how did you get to know that?" His voice was dry.

Tyndall widen her eyes has she heard Drew ask.

"Must he be mean?" Melissa asked inwards. "Just knew" she gave him in same manner.

"Well" Tyndall cleared her throat. "No one could ever believe that you could do this with your already over tight schedule" she said picking her words one after the other as if they were so heavy to speak out.

"Sugar, when you have a dad like mine, there's nothing you won't do so far he wants it. Your schedule is not his concern" he said in his sweet husky voice.

Tyndall smiled. "Thank you".

"That's not enough" he shook his head with pressed lips.

Tyndall pouted and then smiled forcefully. "What do you want?"

"You gave a promise earlier and I would love it to be fulfilled" he said looking into her eyes.

The three ladies has incredibly blue eyes just that Tyndall's eye balls were bigger. Drew think if care is not taken she would be kidnapped by unknown men who has been drugged by the beautiful of those eyes.

He wondered how those three look so much alike in beauty. Just that Melissa's seems more captivating, with so much innocence in her blue eyes. May God help the males around them.

Tyndall became sheepish. If she had known that it was Drew, she would have kept her mouth shut.

"Never knew it was you" she said trying to avoid stuttering.

"Promise is a promise Tin" he said.

Tyndall moved closer to give him a shy hug. "Thank you" she said.

Drew patted her hair gently. "Well sugar, we were contemplating on going on a date earlier and now we've got our answer. Big sis can't tell you to break a promise or will she?"

His question was directed at Melissa not the Tyndall he seems to be talking to.

Melissa snorted. "Suit yourselves" she said and start to avert.

Tyndall followed her immediately. "Are you sure?" She asked with half-cooked happiness.

Melissa just nodded.

"That's Somaria's room" Tyndall pointed.

They both went inside and found Somaria sitting at the edge of her bed drinking in the beauty of her room. Smiles were dancing ballet on her face with joy shimmering in her eyes. She was so short of words that she didn't say anything to her sisters who were looking at her.

"Thank you Drew" was all she managed to say.

The two ladies didn't even know he was with them until Somaria thanked him.

"You're welcome sweet" he smiled.

Melissa begin to notice that as much as he loves nicks, he loves pet names also.

"To your room" he said to Melissa.

"Why? I can see mine when I'm ready" she said blankly.

"Do you think I'm jobless and having nothing to do?" He asked with a frown.

"This guy again" she murmured. "What again?"

She didn't know why he would get angry at her not checking her room.

"Do you think I follow you for no reason?" He looked at her with a hot glare.

"How am I to know when it's not as if you made your intentions known to me. You might decide to take an adventure on the good work done buy you to be proud of it" she replied her voice was barely a whisper but it was a bit dry.

She was really tired of the guy. Although she is used to people been mean to her but this guy was having a personality that got her confusing. He was doing something nice with a bad attitude towards her. If he had just been bad all through she wouldn't have been affected.

"So I'm that jobless not to find anything to do than follow you like a bodyguard. If I've got too free time I would have find myself a beautiful sleep" he said with a haughty look.

Melissa didn't move she just stared at him.

"See young lady, even if you think I'm jobless, I tell you now I'm not. All I need is for you to go to your room and see if you are satisfied with it. Your sisters seems pleased, so just answer me I've got a lot to do before night falls" he asserted in his usual unfriendly manner.

Melissa wanted to reply him but her sisters shook their head in disagreement so she shut her mouth and followed Drew who was already leaving.

Her sisters stayed behind because they didn't want to witness the scene of those to exchanging cold words.

Melissa opened the door to her room wishing do hard that she can dismiss the guy following her. She stepped in gently since the room was dark but Drew walked briskly, passed by her and switched on the lights.

She couldn't help it. Her mouth flunged open immediately. Her room was totally different from her sister's. It has a living room, study. The room was emitting so much light. Even her wildest dream couldn't picture this. It was like a King's room.

She looked at Drew as they strolled through the room but as usual his expression wasn't worth looking.

He ushered her to her chest of drawers. The clothings were more than the initial one they got.

"This is more than the one we go the other day" sh said as if talking to herself.

"I added to it".

Melissa didn't expect him to reply so she shook at the sound of his voice.

"Why?"

"Can't you just say thank you like your sisters?"

She quickly focused on the clothes.

He took her hand suddenly and Melissa shrinked. That was the first time they were having body contact. Drew smirked at her behaviour. He was glad that he could affect her. He pulled her to the area where her shoes were displayed. As usual she was really flabbergasted because it looks like she own a boutique. It was perfectly arranged. Then to her jewleries and accessories. It was equally showed as if they were for sale. Even without her touching them she knew they were all expensive..

"I didn't choose your makeovers because your skin hasn't been treated. By the time you do that your kit will be ready" he said evading her thought.

"Nothing is wrong with my skin" she said bluntly.

She wondered why he cared so much about looks.

"Did I say that?" He asked curtly. "I've booked an appointment with my skin doctor for your sect...."

"I don't really need that" she cuts in.

"Yes you do" he said firmly. "The post youbare handling is one that needs a perfect look so as not to reduce your respe' he said.

"Does look earn you respect?" She said cynically.

Drew sigh looking that she knows nothing about the rich world.

"In the world of the rich, there are three important things that gives you edge over your contemporary" he paused giving her a hard look.

Melissa focused on him as if ti receive his lecture. She really wanted to know.

"One is your intelligence" he continued. "Two the amount of money you have and the third is how you present yourself which is your look. If you have this three, you will be like a Jupiter god to the world and I'm trying to help you be one" he lectured firmly.

Melissa knew what is said is nothing but the plain truth.

"Thanks" she said with a pure grateful eyes but didn't receive any reply.

Tyndall and Somaria came in.

"Whoa!" Tyndall said looking around. "Big sis what do you think about us swapping" she joked.

Back to the present.

"If you are interested in the guy , you can DM him. I'm sure he'll reply but as for me I'm not interested in discussing that guy" she said harshly.

"Hey Big sis, it isn't up to that. I only wanted to know what's up with you two" she said laughing.

Melissa gave a quizzical look. "I don't get you" she said bluntly.

"Maybe you two might have changed into being friendly" she replied.

"Tyndall you know one thing I hate to do is to talk about that annoying guy" she said in lacklustre.

"Is it that bad?" She laughed and she received a stern look.

"I don't think I understand this hatred between you two. You've not even gotten to know yourselves and you've already become sworn enemies. It's really baffling" she said with concern.

"See dear, stop bothering yourself about him. I don't need his friendship. All I need to do is work and get paid. He can get lost for all I care" she almost retorted at the poor girl who was looking at her innocently.

"Hmm" she nodded. Then something dropped on her mind. " Big sis, ain't you suppose to be dressed?" She asked with scrutiny.

"For what?" Not understanding her question.

"Isn't today Tuesd?"

"Tuesday Tuesday" she repeated trying to think what is special about Tuesday, then she remembered and shouted. "My goodness!"

Tyndall laughed at the way she jumped.

"What's the time! What's the time?"

"11:15"

"Aish I haven't packed a thing. That Wolfy guy will soon be here. He's going to eat me raw if he finds out I'm not done" she said running inside and Tyndall followed her.

They were not to when they noticed Drew's car maneuvering into the garage. This made them to speed up.

"Go meet him. I'll finish up" she told Tyndall.

"Are you sure you will be fast enough?"

"Yes. We are almost done. Just go help me keep him busy for few minutes" she said.

Tyndall came out just in time as Drew walked into the living room.

"Hi Drew" she said smiling.

"Hi" he returned her smile. "No lectures today?" He asked

"There is but I've got little issues with my leg" she pointed to her right keg that looks a bit swollen.

Drew looked at the leg. "Come let me take a look" he ordered.

"It's no big deal. Just need to rest it a little" she waved her hand to show it's not a big deal.

But Drew wasn't buying it. He really want to take a look at it.

"Come" he patted the sofa beside him.

Tyndall sat beside him while he examined the leg. He gave it a little press and she winced.

"I see" was the only word he said.

"I told you it's not a big deal" Tyndall said thinking he agreed.

Drew brought out his phone and put a call through. Not until then did she realise he didn't agree with her.

"You don't need to do that" she said after he ended his call.

"Martins will pick you up in an hours time so go dress up. You will go see Dr Plans. I've made sure he attends to you immediately you get there" .

"You are very stubborn, ain't you?" She said.

He shrugs. "Just feed me with the necessary information when you are through" he said instead of he reply.

"OK" she gave up.

Drew got a call and he was on in for some minutes that he didn't even have the time to ask after Melissa but he was sure expecting her to be out. He glanced at the way to the room every seconds but she seems not to come out. Even Tyndall still ewnt to see if she was doing fine and she came out to keep Drew's company.

"Wait a minute where is Melly?" He asked immediately he dropped his call.

"She will be out in a jiffy" Tyndall replied quickly.

"I think based on my time I've been here for the past fifteen minutes and she's not out" he said with a frown.

"Is it up to that?" She asked even though she knew it's a foolish question.

"Miss the last time I checked, my time hasn't stopped working. So I know what I'm saying" he replied.

Tyndall prayed in her heart that Melissa comes out before Drew become impatient. Just as she ended her prayer, Melissa burst out.

"Here she com...es" Tyndall said and widen her eyes as she lifted her head.

Drew opened his mouth with the look of both irritation and amusement.

"Hi" she said still not recovered from how she ran out.

Tyndall covered her mouth so as not to burst into laughter. Melissa was still oblivious to what was making them to make such faces. Since it's Drew best attitude to ignore greetings, she didn't care and sometimes Tyndall loves exaggeration.

The surprising thing that happened was when Drew brought out his phone and snapped her.

"This will be good for Instagram" he said smiling at the phone.

"Did you just take a picture of me?" She back chatted.

"In need of it" he replied like he did nothing.

"Delete it" she ordered.

"No, it's my phone and I can do what I want with it".

"It is my....".

Tyndall didn't allow her to finish the statement, she dragged her to a mirror hanging on the wall.

She wanted to scold Tyndall for dragging her but when she saw herself on the mirror, all the words hanged.

The lipstick she applied was indeed a backed cream placed on her lips. She didn't know that she had applied too much since she didn't use a mirror. With that lips, she looked exactly like a clown.

Tyndall got a wipe and help her adjust it. Immediately she was done she went to Drew and stood in akimbo.

"Delete the picture!"

Her eyes was fixed on him as if she was going to beat him.

"No" he replied plainly.

"It's my pics" she almost roared.

"And it is my phone young lady" he said in mockery.

Melissa felt like crying. She knew that there's no amount of words or shout that would make him change his mind. So she decided to save her strength.

"Are you ready to go or you want to stay to fight me" he asked scornfully and begin to avert.

Melissa removed her tongue and shook her head sarcastically.

"I saw that" Drew called out.

Tyndall burst into laughter as Melissa waved her goodbye and followed Drew.
