The song "A thousand Miles" keeps playing inside my head, because our out-of-town trip is near. We'll go to Disney land and see in real life the magic it can bring. Oh! Just the thought excites me, more so that I'll be travelling with my son, mom and sister.
You know when you are excited of something and happy, your body is pumped with happy hormones that it just shows in you like you are glowing, and like you can do everything. Have you ever had this experienced? Like you are so invincible and full of positive energy?
But then, on January 12, 2020, the Taal Volcano erupted. As I've said, I lived in the city, and we have been affected with ash fall.
Our focus is on the taal volcano eruption, but news of corona virus is also being aired already. During this time, most are not yet aware the threat it holds.
Not until late January, when the fear and panic start to crawl in everyone's heart slowly.
Just like everyone, I did not bother to dwell into it at first. We do not have it in the country, those affected with Taal eruption needs to be prioritize --- those where my thinking, since i believe at that moment that is the priority. Not knowing the great impact the Corona Virus will bring soon.
Do you have an experience like that? Where you neglect the hint being presented, but in the long run has the longest impact and serious effect?
Sometime in our lives, some plans no matter how grand you have thought about it just won't be executed. Why? Because not everything will go in our way.
And just like that, slowly, disney hides himself from us not knowing when he'll let us see him for real. Until then, our hearts will continue to look forward until that day.
