Chapter 6

Tan's POV

Unbeknownst to Copper and that monster, I have been following them every day since the woman I love left me for uncertain reason. I don't know why I just saw that monster for the first time and I was so angry, he hasn't done anything to me yet but the anger I felt for her was like I want to kill her by my own hands.

Now, I know why. I feel that maybe my whole being will do what it takes to seize my dear Copper. I love my woman very much and whoever dares to steal my woman will gping to die into my own hands.

"Are you really just going to follow them? Don't you want to just talk to them face to face or just ask them personally what is it all about?" asked by Rex who had been yawning next to me. I was with Rex since the day I started following Copper and the monster. He also knows how much I love that woman, my pretty Copper.

"I'm not a fool. If she's a man we're going to fight and I'll show up in front of them without hesitating but she's a monster, it's very impossible for me to get Copper forcibly with her. She was powerful and I am nothing to her." I answered to his question. It's not that it was easy to approach a monster even though it wasn't really scary at all.

I peeked again from the rock and watched what they were doing with Copper. I watched them closely. That woman's smiles were annoying and irritating.

"You're really good, Xenon!" said Copper cheerfully. I could hear the voice of my loved one. I heard and I felt like she was happy that she was next to Xenon but I couldn't accept that.

What? Will she just left me for a woman? Will she just trade me for a monster?

"You know if you love someone just let her go. Have you seen Copper right now? She smiles very lovely with the monster." Rex said while I had been staring at the two.

"What? You know that I've had a lovely girlfriend named Copper for a long time and then you want me to let her go for that monster? I'm not a fool to let go of Copper like that!" I answered him. I noticed that it just shook before it got up from its knees.

"Brother, you don't have to raise your pride because of that woman. It's just a woman, remember?" he told me and then walked away.

Great! That idiot left me here all alone. Do I really have no ally? I just gasped before I stood up. And I was surprise that when I suddenly stood up, I fell to the ground.

I tried to cling to what I could handle but last of all, I ended up falling into this dark place.

I awoke to the light carried by a creature approaching me. I immediately got up and prepared to fight.

"Don't be afraid. We'll take sides here." she yielded to me. Later, I finally saw its face. She looked at me directly as if shw wanted to tell me something.

"What do you need?" I asked her in the opposite way. She looks like she's older than me.

"I don't need you. You're the one who needs me." she said. My eyes widened as it suddenly parted its hands in the air and the face of my beloved Copper appeared in the unoccupied space.

"I want you to get her out of Xenon's path." That monster? I feel really bad on what that monster is carrying on everyone.

"How? I have no power like yours!" I told her and she immediately approached me and kissed me on the cheek.

"I'm Xanthan, Xenon's sister. Don't worry, I won't hurt you." she said.

Is it really not going to hurt me? Aside from being the sister of a monster, she is also very weird. Why is she doing this to her sister?

"Why do you want to take Copper out of Xenon's path? What's your reason?" I asked her. She just smiled at me before it answered.

"You'll be regret when you don't get her out of her way because we'll all be lost." I just frowned at what she told to me. How can we all be lost?

I looked at her directly and no matter what she said I immediately asked what she meant by what she just said.

"Xenon is the savior of everyone. The woman you love will hinder her mission when they happen to fall in love with each other so do the right thing and Mother and I will do the right thing."

Did she really think she could get past me with just a simple explanation?

I was surprised when my hands suddenly got a fire. I looked at her and I could see in her face the happiness that she felt when she saw me handling a fire.

"Do you believe that now?" she asked.

"How-" I just stopped when she suddenly kissed me again.

"Tan, I want you. I've been following you for a long time so I just believe you're not destined for me so if I were you take back what and who is destined for you." she said after she kissed me.

She smiled at me first before it finally disappeared in front of me. How does she know me? Do we have a connection with each other? Who is she?

I raised my hand then pulled it into the air. As I parted, a black flame came out that ignited all around.

I laughed out loud because of what I saw. My heart is glad for what I have now. I didn't expect a monster like her to reward me. Thank you very much, Xanthan.

"I'M NOT A MONSTER!" I just ran into a loud voice I heard from above. What does she did, does she also read a human mind? It's incredible.
