Chapter 11

Xenon's POV

"Help! Help!" I heard a voice coming from somewhere. I don't know what there is but I feel like I'm getting stronger especially with that voice.

Later I heard a shrill voice.

"Hihihi" I heard it scream. My fist clenched because of that.

"Who are you?!" I shouted.

"Guess what." he said as if he was playing with me.

I don't know but because of the heat of my head I shouted very loudly and spewed fire all around.

I circled all around until it blazed silly forever. The fire engulfed the atmosphere and later I caught a glimpse of that insect in the distance.

How?

"Xenon!" it cries as it quickly approaches me.

It hugged my arm while crying.

"How are you--" It flew then kissed me on the cheek.

"Thank you." it yielded to me. Thanks? Where? I didn't do anything to him.

"Thank you? For what?" I ask here.

"You revived me." he said.

I winced when he said that. Me? Revived him? How?

"I didn't give you life." cold tone I said to him.

I've loved this ladybug ever since but I don't know why I feel so weird about her now.

"Are you doubting?" it asked me.

Who wouldn't doubt? I only revived Isaiah, in fact I was still weak when I revived him because my body was not strong enough for him.

"Yes." I coldly told him then I pinched him cause to spit it out.

"Who are you?" I asked him.

"You won't be deceived right away my dear sister." she said then laughed out loud as if there was no tomorrow.

"Xanthan." I pronounced his name and then it changed form.

Really disrespectful! That ladybug was really the one she used to trick me.

"What do you need?" I said coldly to her. It approached me again and this time it seemed like a gentle dog now.

"I don't need you. You're the one who needs me." she says.

"Why would I need you? Do you see yourself? You pretend to be a lowly creature." I said this so her palm touched my face.

Oops! Did I say something bad?

"Slow down on what you're saying if you don't want Mother to finish you off!" angry it says to me.

I looked at her as if nothing had happened and she backed away as I slowly approached.

"What if I just kill my sister?" I said to her while looking at it directly.

"My sister is useless to my mother." I added.

"Does it hurt to hear the truth, Xanthan?" I ask again here.

"Between the two of us, you're useless!" she shouted and then she threw stones at me with blazing fire. Really? How could she says it?

"If I'm useless, she should have killed me then even though I'm not his child, right? You, why is she sending you here? Ah, yes. Because you're useless to her. And she doesn't care about you anymore even if I kill you. " I said for her to be more insulted.

When Xanthan shuddered and seemed to explode. She could no longer paint on her face how she felt.

"I won't miss this day! I'll be back with you, Xenon!" she said angrily.

I just smiled at what she said. I don't know what went through my mind and I wanted to make him angry now that I knew there was no resistance to anyone attempting on me.

"If you don't miss it, why would you come back to me? You haven't contradicted what you're saying yet?" I said it sarcastically and then I laughed out loud.

"Xanthan, you've stopped!" she shouted.

Perfect timing! She is here too. I smiled when I faced it.

"My dear Mother. What are you doing here?" I asked her.

It seemed impossible to paint its face when she saw me.

"Mother, why do you seem so scared?" I asked her. What's up? It's just me. Xenon. Xenon omnipotent.

"You're really rude at times." it yielded to me.

"And when was the question rude, Mother?" I asked her but she just ignored me.

"Come on, Xanthan." she said in calm tone.

They were about to leave when I suddenly stopped them with my power.

"Where's Mother?" I asked her.

"She is dead."

"Liar." I said then I let them go.

"The day will come and I will find Mother and we will be together again."

"That's if you can find her." it harvested me before it left.

"If you think you can deceive someone like me, you are mistaken." I said then turned in their direction where they disappeared.

Not a creature like them would bring me down.

I flew in the sky and I felt the breeze and strong wind. I went to where Tan was.

Zed, can you still forgive me?

I watched her every smile with her friend. Those smiles, he smiled that too before I killed him unintentionally.

"Monster! Here's the monster!" shout of a man who was able to pay attention to them.

They all took another stone weapon at me.

Arrows, arrows, rocks, glasses, bottles and whatever else they threw at me but they didn't even hurt me.

Tan. I saw him holding a bow and arrow and I let his arrow hit my heart.

It really hurts more when the person you love made you hurt.

What if he loved me back then? No matter what kind of love it is.

I just burst into tears. He lowered his weapon and there was a look of astonishment on his face as I cried.

'Zed, I love you.' I said in my mind as I flew away from them.

I can feel the pain now. Zed felt pain when I did that thing to him.
