Chapter 12

Tan's POV

"What is he to you?" I heard a voice. I looked in the direction where that voice came from and there I saw Copper and that monster.

"I repeat, what is he to you?" Copper asked the monster. What is he referring to?

I slowly walked closer to them. They turned their head in my direction.

The monster smiled before it spoke a word.

"He's a dream." I heard her say as tears slowly trickled from her eyes.

What's up? What's happening? I do not understand. What's with her

I took another step and as I took another step I finally came back to reality.

I get up from my bed. Thought and asked myself why I saw that kind of dream.

Who exactly is that monster? She cannot be erased from my mind. Is she from my past life?

"Good and you woke up."

"Son of ---" I told to her when I was surprised when she suddenly spoke next to me.

"Copper, why are you so shocked?" I asked her. She just smiled at me and never spoke.

She hugged me as if inexplicably. What is going on around now?

"Is there a problem?" I asked her.

"Nothing but it looks like this one should be for you." she mentioned then she kissed me on the forehead.

I don't know what happened to me. My whole body stiffened because of what she did and then the whole area went dark.

"Zed!" she called my named as she go nearer and nearer to me. Today, I saw her beautiful face again. We often meet in this place where we first met.

When she got close to me completely, she immediately hugged me.

I cringed at what it did to me next. As she hugged me she whispered it to me.

"Your turn." I don't know what she wants to convey to me. But I was shocked when she suddenly changed form in front of me when it let go of my hug.

Iron wings, three eyes on her forehead, sharp fangs and nails, horns and scary mouths with body fangs burst in front of me.

Is she really Xenon? I never thought this was the look of the woman I have known and been friends with for a long time.

"Xe-xenon" I shake as I back away from where I stand. Suddenly, its appearance changed in front of me so that I could breathe easily.

I was inthe state of shocked.

"Do you also believe what they say?" she asked me. I didn't know how to tell her the truth because of the look she showed me.

"Answer!" she shouted at me then it changed form again in front of me.

"HALIMAW!" I just ran when she approached me.

I accelerated my run until it no longer followed me but I was mistaken in thinking that it did not follow me because when I looked in front of me I was exposed to its frightening appearance.

"Are you scared of me because of how I look? It's time for you to disappear." she harvested me before it released with its wings the sharp object that hit my whole body.

She approached me slowly. I tried to crawl on the ground where I am now but when I tried it made me even more miserable with the release of what seemed to be the ropes that wrapped around my foot that would heal from the mouths of her body.

"You can't escape from me ever!" she shouted at me before the whole area around me finally lit up.

Where am I now? What world is this?

"How are you?" Xenon asked. I recoil because of its approach. How so humble her face is here when before it looked like a scary monster threatening to kill an innocent person like me. Is it human fault that they feel such fear after seeing a scary creature?

"Don't worry, I'm the kind Xenon." Her face was gentle as she told me those words. It even managed to smile in front of me but it also immediately took back its beautiful smiles from me.

I was just surprised by its transformation like before then it approached me and stabbed my body with a sharp object.

At the speed of events I only now realized that my body was slowly disappearing into my friend's hand.

The relish may die at the hands of the enemy. The only pain because now I will die and disappear at the hands of my own friend.

"Xenon, I want--" I couldn't continue the words I wanted to release because I was completely disappearing in front of her.

I like you, Xenon. Not just as a friend, but why did you do this to me?

I can see. I feel like I loved that woman.

But why is this? Does it hurt? Why does it hurt? Too sick to betray. It hurts so much to hurt your own loved one.

Later I heard a sob.

"Zed. I love you. I love you so much." she said while weeping at the grave where I went again.

What world is this? What is going on around me?

Later, everything suddenly went dark.

I just got up as soon as I fell asleep. I looked for Copper but he was no longer beside me.

I saw a paper next to me and then I read it.

"Back to proper possession."

What kind of letter is this? What kind of saying is that too?

"Xenon ... He's waiting for you." she adds to the folded part below.

Why is that monster waiting for me? What is the reason? Who is she really? What have I got to do with her?

Is everything I saw in my dream true? What was that? I'm confused. My mind is at mess now.
