Chapter 14

Isaiah's POV

I'm spying on Xenon's sister today. I want to kill it alone but I can't do anything because I'm just an angel and I don't have strong powers like Xenon does.

I watched it carefully as I followed it. Meanwhile, I also found out where it was hiding.

"What is this cave?" I asked myself. I was not familiar with that place so I left immediately and I might be damned.

"Where are you going sir?" it asked me as I turned my back, ready to leave that place.

"Why don't you want to go?" its question as if concerned to me.

What a sarcastic tone.

"Is there a problem?"

"Are you cowardly?" she asked me again.

"Or maybe you'll still wait for Xenon for this?" it asked me. I just stared at her. Eye to eye and I didn't have a word said to it.

I was about to change my direction but with the flapping of my wing it suddenly injured part of it causing me to fall to the ground.

"Did you think you could get out of here after you followed me?" it boldly told me. It just stared at me as its eyes blazed.

I don't know why I bravely stared into those eyes. I tried to flap my wing again and in that moment I made stronger and faster movements to finally fly.

Xanthan didn't let me get stuck in the area so no matter how fast my wing fluttered, it could still catch up with me.

While I was in the middle of escaping upon her I saw a hole on the other side so I thought it was entrance. When I entered, I thought it would still follow me but I was wrong, so I was relieved that I had been so nervous before.

I circled around and realized I didn't know that place. I didn't know what I was thinking and I moved further away from the light.

Later I heard a loud voice. That was familiar and that creature seemed close to me.

"Isaiah ..." mentioning my name caused me to look away from where I was.

"Who are you?!" I shout here.

"Isaiah ..." it mentions my name again.

"Who are you ?! Show up!" I command here.

Later on the mold of a creature slowly appeared in the dark place.

"Did you think Isaiah could escape you?" My eyes widened when I saw her again.

"Looks like you went to the wrong direction, Isaiah." she said then smiled inexplicably at me.

I quickly fluttered my wing to get out but it was all too late. It cut my wing causing me to fall. As I slowly fell I also gradually felt frustrated.

I also feel weakness in my body. Is it because Xenon just revived me? It wasn't like the strength I used to have that I had so having a new life again in the story Xenon had was the reason to change it all.

"Useless." I heard her say. I looked up and saw that not only was Xanthan there, even Xenon was there.

"Who's useless ?!" I heard Xanthan say in Xenon's direction. I smiled at Xenon and saw her smile back at me.

'It is an honor to resurrect me like you. May it be over. Until next time, Xenon. ' I promise in my mind that I know it hears. I looked in the direction I was going to fall. It was full of knives. I smiled bitterly on my lips before I finally closed my eyes and said goodbye to the world I live in.

Xenon's POV

"Useless ..." I promised.

I saw Isaiah smile at me so I smiled back. "Who's useless !?" My sister shouted at me. I turned my gaze to it then I approached her.

"You." I stared at her fearlessly, as if I were more powerful than her and no one would try to fight a creature like me.

*Bogsh*

I heard Isaiah's body fall on that sharp object. After all, I can save him but I don't have to waste my time for him.

The slower I live, the easier I can do the right things.

"Show me the way." I calmly told her.

"Way?" its a question that she thought didn't know what I was referring to.

"Don't be fooled." I said to her. It's impossible that she doesn't know what I'm referring to because Mother and I have been together since the beginning.

"What--" Before she could finish what she was going to say I immediately tied her neck that I was fit to kill her tightly.

"Will you lead me or will I end your life here, my sister?" I ask her. If before it seemed fearless, now I can feel its fear in my hands.

"I'm getting stronger because of the fear you feel my sister. What's your decision?" I asked her.

It bowed to me.

"Let's go." its response and then it acted where she was. I followed it too. My sister is really useless. I thought I couldn't fool this one.

The rope I wrapped around her was just an ordinary rope and there wasn't any strong power contained therein.

Really useless, Xanthan.
