I Can Do That.

"I've already mentioned this. Yes, he is a beast tamer." Lotus spoke with certainty, "However, he does not have the ability to place contracts. His ability is different from our beast tamer category."

Hearing this, Raaji was confused. Just what is this beast tamer category that this student talked about? However, the other party did not show much change of expression and nodded their head, "I see."

"Moreover," Lotus added without hesitation, "he is more reasonable and too kind for his own good. Rather than a sleeping tiger, he is not more than a wolf pup. But, I do not recommend there be any harm to those around him..."

Hearing this, Hei Hui easily believed her words. It isn't because Lotus was a girl and so she was more trust worthy than others or that the child before them looked trustworthy. It's just that this world held a little more naiviety than their birth world's harsh environment. Depend on the location or land, not even the majority of orphans would experience starvation as long as they are provided for and there are even laws that would help those type of people. Rather than naiviety, it would be better said as sympathy. It was the first thing that astounded them when they traveled the world with that person many years ago before the establishment of the school. The sympathy was a little too suspicious when they first saw it. However, after spending time in that world and understand the students of this dorm and seeing their troubles, they've slowly come to better understanding of this world's thinking.

Hearing her words, however, Raaji was even more confused. Was the supervisor such a scary person?

The answer is obviously not. What she had meant was only that Yuu would go to creat lengths to protect his friends and help them, but, even not knowing this meaning, Raaji knew better than to poke at the supervisor. Instead, he only clammed his mouth shut and watched.

"There is it." Grim pointed out hesitantly in shock, "His signature blunt quip."

Despite what Grim said, Floyd wasn't nervous in the least and seemed to have taken Yuu's words into consideration with a slight grumble, "But, y'know, I'm with Lil' Shrimp on this. Baby Otter, it's like you're too much of a good boy... How to put this... It's annoying."

"Eh!" Kalim started in disbelief and confusion as he was taken aback in surprise, "Anno-!"

Before he could finish his exclamation, Jade spoke up next with a courteous expression similar to that of a butler from Rose Kingdom, "That's right. If someone had betrayed me like that... I would every word in my lexicon to mentally and emotionally break them then tie them up and drown them in the sea. Saying it was your own fault goes well past being a good person and right into creepy."

"Creep..." Kalim stared at the twins in confusion and wanted to argue back, "But, really, Jamil would never betray me..."

"Umm, he stabbed you right in the back." Floyd went on to say with a small laugh, "Then he went and tried to frame you and get you thrown out. He just sucks."

"Comparing his behavior to Azul makes Azul look like a paragon of goodness." Jade pointed out with a smile unfitting to that of the current dire situation, "I think you can yell 'traitor!' to his face with confidence."

Hearing this, Raaji muttered behind her in confusion, "What kind of confidence is that?"

"That's not really praiseworthy..." Yuu muttered with a nervous expression on his face.

"The things you say out of unwavering faith in others will rub people, like Jamil or I the wrong way..." Azul explained to Kalim. It was obvious to the Octavinelle dormleader that this guy had never knew the real Jamil after all these years of being around one another and have been blinded while also blinding himself with the light of optimism he keeps radiating off. He corrected after giving his words another thought, No, to those who live their lives on a budget, it sounds like condescending sarcasm. You've been pushing Jamil around since you were little, behaving like that."

Thinking of his bright and happy-go-lucky behaviour earlier, Azul brought back his "warm" entrepreneur smile and tone for a brief moment as he said with the sarcasm in his voice flowing out of that smile, "However, you haven't done anything wrong. You were born with a status that puts you above others... Raised basing in the love of your parents and people around you, so you grew up into a good and honest person. Therefore, you have become unknowingly arrogant..."

"In Kalim's case, he's probably also naturally naive as a person." Jade added in firmly. It was a trait with a double edge, after all. Being naive, good and honest has probably reached out to many and helped those in need, such as the students in Scarabia dorm. However, for those more calculating, it could be seen as arrogant, sarcastic, and tyranny in its own meaning.

After a moment of contemplation, Kalim began hesitantly and unwillingly, "I see. Jamil is a bad guy... isn't he?"

Hearing his words, Lotus raised a brow in confusion, "Hm? So he sees it now?"

"Like a super bad guy." Yuu confirmed with a firm nod.

"Then, we've gotta get back!" Kalim said firmly with a rather rare look of anger and frustration, "I've gotta punch him and call him a 'traitor!'"

Answering her question, A-Cong sighed in dismay, "I'm afraid it is not as simple to help Kalim understand difficult concepts, especially when he has not gone over them properly in the past."

Hearing this, Raaji nodded his head in agreement. Even when he or someone else from the dorm wanted his help on something difficult, they become aware, eventually, that there are times when the problem is too difficult for their dorm leader to ponder into an understanding of the situation. Not to mention, he was rather forgetful as a dorm leader with a ton of wealth in his treasury. Quite often, he had snuck into the treasury and had casually greeted the two a few times surprising the bujeebuz out of their poor vice-dorm leader while only his dorm leader showed no obvious offense or suspicion and often held fun conversations with him.

The next day, the treasury would be moved to another place, but Raaji always knew where to look into whenever he needed the dorm leader or vice-dorm leader for something. One night, he almost angered his vice-dorm leader from the sheer frustration of finding hiding spots and locks. Even though he knew that harming other students and assault was against the rules leading to dire consequences, he couldn't help but feel lucky to have escaped with his life that night. Since then, he'd never show his face around the treasury if their dorm leader was not around to calm Jamil down. At the very least, he then knew better than to even sneak around the dorms in the middle of the night, which is a bit of a problem now that the vice-dormleader has sealed the entrance of the dorm every night.

What he could best understand from his dorm leader's timing and actions was that he barely understood the gist of why the vice-dorm leader and his childhood friend betrayed him and just understood that this time was not his fault, but the vice-dorm leader's. Understanding this only, Kalim must've decided to push such a decision.

"One punch is nowhere near enough!" Grim cried out in anger, "Make him march to the oasis and back ten times!"

"Yes and if we don't bring him back to his senses soon his life in in great danger." Azul reminded them firmly bringing back the fact that staying in overblot state is extremely harmful to the victim, "We must return before his magic runs dry."

Raaji gasped in shock. That's right! While in overblot state, it still doesn't stop his magic from being drained! Unless something is done, Jamil could die!

"How exactly are we gon' do that? Speed walk?" Floyd muttered in annoyance.

"That'll take too long and my nose'll freeze, y'know!!" Grim cried out in horror when he thought of walking for miles in the desert.

"A river would allow us to swim back, but..." Jade looked down to the cracked earth of the dried up river, "any river around here had long dried up..."

"River?" Kalim looked up quickly as he heard the word and asked familiarly to the topic, "Do you want some water?"

"Yes." Azul nodded, "If Floyd and Jade were able to take their true forms they they'd be fast than any broom. However."

Azul looked around to dismay and disappointment, "Filling a dried up river is beyond our abilities..."

Seeing his depressed look, Lotus watched in surprise. Did this guy not kept an eye out on Kalim's capabilities? Was it only her?

"I can do that." Kalim said with an easy smile that shook the trio into disbelief.

"EHH?!"
