Chapter 13: Something Missing

1.) This noon, Simon was sitting near the fireplace. Tootskie sits with him. "Oh! Hi there." said Simon. "Simon. Are you... still, thinking about...Jennifer?" I asked him. "Yes. I hate to admit it...Yes." He said as he touches tootskie the puppy. "I will be all right..." said Simon.I sit near him, He holds my head and kiss my cheek. "I'm sorry, I'm being too needy..." said Simon. "I know... You need me more Simon... I mean, Dad. You need me much more..." I said to him. I hug him "It's just... you and me against the world again." Said Simon.I smell his neck. My moustache rubs on his neck. I kissed his neck. Simon was shocked. "Alex?" asked him.

2.) I laugh. Pretending it was a joke. "What the fuck was that?!" shouted Simon. "Eh...You are just tired...Let's eat." I said. Simon sighs. After we eat, we went to the vet. "Oh! What 3 cuties!" said by the Vet. Simon giggles. "I mean it." said by the Vet. "I know, but you are a guy." said Simon. "So what?" said the Vet as he injects something to Tootskie. "I appreciated it." said Simon. "Have you heard that Hot girl that's missing?" asked him. "Yeah..." said Simon. "Dude, that woman is pretty hot!" said by him. We go out ,then we pay the bills. We go to the pet store."Why it's snowing?" asked by someone. "It looks like winter is coming sooner..." sa..id by another one. They look at us. 'Oh, that's the hot mechanic I was talking about...Poor guy, he was just like girlfriend with that lost hot teacher... " whispered by one of them.

3.) We take dog food and a dog sweater. We move around . Get lunch. Then return home. Simon was still silent. "Simon...." I said. I put sweater on tootskie. He stops shaking. He looks at me. I put him in front of Simon. "Simon... look at his sweater!" I said. Tootskie barks at him. Simon giggles. He became close to Simon as days past... Simon, at least, he was happier. 2 more weeks later. Tootskie is a little big. Simon and Tooskie was playing in the snow. The Winter break is almost here.

4.) Simon was a little happy. Ros looks at me as she walks around. She gave me a letter. It was written in Romanji -English. "Hero, Ai amu, o kei, hiro nekosuto, towanu. Kisu Sai mono, furu me. Te kueru o-vo sai mono, he noedu yo. Rabu.. jenupero. Here I am okay, here next town kiss Simon for me, take care of Simon, he need you, Love, Jennifer." I said. "Thanks..." said Ros. Her bodyguard sees her. She runs away. It was Jen. I look at Simon and tootskie as Simon plays with him. I look from afar. There is this short haired lady again, in shades. I sneak out to the forest.

5.) I go at her back. "Queen of Beaches?" I asked her. She looks at me. "Oh, you must be the cute gay boy, Jennifer was talking about. She removes her shades, she has gray eyes, not blue. "Sorry..If you are finding Jen, she was with me...don't worry. She did not die. Right now, she is kind of... avoiding conflicts... for you and your...cute dad." Said by her. A woman carrying her daughter goes to her. "Honey... who is this man?" asked her. "Sweetie...This is um... Alexander I think..." she said. "Alexis." I replied. "Alexis... the one, Jennifer was talking about, and that guy, playing with Jen's puppy, was the boyfriend." Said by her.

6.) "Oh, he is cute. Anyways... Let's go! We still need to prepare for the gig at Stone Castle Tomorrow!" she said. Ros goes to them. "Gwen! I delivered Jen's letter...oh, Hello Alex... This is Gwen, she looks a lot like Jen, until you put them close together." Said Ros. "You knew?" I asked. "Of course, I'm the one, who called Gwen to come back here from Jasper,Alberta." Said Ros. They go to the car as they wave goodbye.

7.) So it is true. She really do have a cousin that looks a lot like her. Later that afternoon, Simon and I look at each other. "Buddy...can you give this to Sir Johnson, he's a friend of dad, he leaves 3 blocks from Kris' house..." said Dad. I take the box. It was a book. I go near Kris' house. There is this bearded guy, he kinda remind me of Simon with a dark brown hair, tall,muscular too. He was laughing with Kris as they walk. I look at Kris. Kris waves at me. The guy smiles at us. I asked, "Kris, where is Mr. Johnson's house?" I asked. Kris calls at the guy. "Dude! It's for your grandpa!" shouted Kris. He goes to us. He looks at me. "Kris, this is the cute guy you talk about?" asked him. "Oh! See! He is cute! Kinda hot too!" said Kris.

8.) "Yeah... I admit." said by him. "This is Marcus, Martie is his Grandpa. He's from the other school on the other side, Valley high... He moved here a year ago like Jen did." Said Kris. Jen was walking by, looking frustrated as she laughs along with a man. "Oh! There is his grandpa along with his favorite artist, Gwyneth Phil." Said Kris. No, this time, It was Jen. The way she moves is different but...I knew that striped bikini, peeking out of her jeans. She says goodbye. She looks at me as she rides a cab.

9.) Marcus looks at me. He laughs and say, "I think he is my type...I beat, this guy can fight me, 1 on 1..." said Marcus. I look at him weirdly. "Anyways...Tin-tin... also, thanks..." said Marcus. Uhm. "He doesn't look gay. Nor acts like one, he looks like a typical brawny guy." I said to Kris. She laughs. "Well, anyways... My debut is for more days!" Said Kris. I look at her and smile, as I say, "Congrats." I said. Kris hugs me.

10.) I look at Marcus and his Grandpa, they look close. They wave at us. They go inside. Kris and I walk back as I started to drink my coffee. "You think, Marcus looks cute too?" asked her. "Yes. I mean, nohomo." I said. "He reminds me of your dad!" said Kris. I spit my coffee. "See! He kinda have similarities to Simon! He was kinda cute like you. But, you are my type." Said Kris as she goes back to her house. She kisses me on the cheeks. Then she goes back to her house. Her Dad and Stepdad squints at me. I bike back to the house. Simon was asleep in the couch. I look at him. He was asleep. I hug him and tell him, It's all okay Simon. Then I go upstairs.

11.) The next morning. It was Sunday. Simon and I was sitting on the porch with Tootskie on his sweater. Marcus was biking as they go to us. "Oh! This is for...Simeon jr. It's from Grampapi. Simon looks at Marcus from head to foot. Marcus looks at Simon. "Uhm... why you kinda...look like me?" asked Simon. Marcus laughs, "Then, I can call you...Daddy..." said Marcus mischievously. We all laugh.

12.) "Nice meeting you Mr.Goldman, this is for you....it's a keepsake of your dad, Commander Simeon Goldman. It's his old uniform." Said Marcus. Simon looks very happy as he wears it. Marcus laughs as he takes picture of Simon. He looks at the old pictures, there is Grandpa Simeon, Anton and that old dude, that looks like Marcus but with longer hair. He takes a picture. "Grandpa will be happy..." said Marcus as he winks at me and go away.

13.) Anton was talking a stroll in the snow, Along with Gwen and her girlfriend. Kris and her dads were with them. It was tomorrow night. They wave at me. They come closer. "Hey, Simeon Junior." No, It's...it's Jen. She just...stared at Simon. Simon kept on Staring at her. "Mr.Goldman! Alex! I'm here for your invites! See you tomorrow!" said Kris as she hugs me very tight. Then she walks away. Anton stares at Simon as Jen and Anton moves away along with Gwen's girlfriend and Kris' dad and stepdad. Simon stood silent, as he smiles a little. "I still miss you Jen." said Simon.
