Chapter 1

There have been many stories about her, the destroyer of life, the killer of humanity.

But what you didn't know was that she was no monster, no thief in the night who set out to ruin others. Yet that was what she was made out to be.

Created with the goal to end she was never treated with respect, but their beautiful earth was beginning to get over populated as their creations kept increasing it.

Before long they things got worse, the humans would fight amongst themselves, the more matured ones believed they were better than the others.

With this in mind they imprisoned their kin, enslaving their own bloodline to create the ultimate unit.

The angels cried for the once graceful and happy race was now in tatters. They created them in their own imagine, yet they brought nothing but destruction.

Seeing their works of art crumble they decided enough was enough, seeing their original creations enslaving their kin they decided to consult their own Creator.

With this in mind they approached the Creator.

The Creator has been around for longer than all of them, he created the angels to keep him company as he didn't want to be alone anymore.

"Dear Creator, we bring terrible news. The humans... they are not like us, they do not show love or kindness or even compassion for one another." The angel speaking was Nrven.

He was seen as the leader of the angels, he spoke on their behalf and ultimately made challenging decisions that they couldn't and didn't want to make.

The Creator sat on his throne of clouds, his eyes were always glossed over as it was said he was everywhere at once.

"I have seen this destruction you speak of, when I allowed you to create them I didn't think this was what you had in mind, these 'humans' you call them are nothing but savages." The Creator was unsatisfied with their work.

He had believed in them, he thought they understood the importance of having a good balance, but they didn't.

Sighing he knew they were too young and naive to be trusted, and now the humans had hurt the earth he spent so much time creating.

He made every animal, plant and landscape with such love and care. Sadly, the humans didn't respect him, they weren't thankful, and they weren't learning.

Noticing the Creators brow furrowing more and more the angels began to tremble at his obvious anger.

Seeing the angels become distressed at the Creators expression and words, Nrven understood he needed to act fast.

Getting down to his knees he called to the Creator "Please Creator we beg for your forgiveness, we were foolish to think they were perfect like us. But do not fret, we will teach them. I have created a plan..." although Nrven spoke with confidence and grace the Creator didn't like what he was hearing.

Leaning forward on his throne he cut off Nrven "Are you listening to yourself? You are all fools!"

Hearing their Creator talk badly about them all of the angels wept quietly as they held each other inside their embraces. Huddled together they all looked pathetic and weak in the Creators eyes.

Maybe he even made a mistake creating them, the thought had never passed his mind before but now thinking about it, it wouldn't leave his mind.

Nrven was cleaver, seeing the angels weep and the Creator looking at them with distaste and a glimpse or regret on his face. Nrven silenced the angels with a shout that was nothing like the angel he claimed to be.

"Silence you snivelling fools!"

Immediately they gasped in shock before lowering their heads to the floor. Tears continued to stream down their face as they clung to one another but now there was now no cries to be heard.

"Oh powerful and merciful Creator, we have made a mistake. I beg of you to forgive us this once. I promise we will never make the same mistake again." His words of praise and how he admitted their mistake pleased the creator greatly.

Maybe they weren't a failure he thought.

"You have acknowledged your mistake Nrven, I am proud of you."

Listening, Nrven couldn't control the smile that graced his soft and dainty features. Sadly, it didn't last long as the Creator wasn't finished.

"However, you are no longer in charge of the humans you protect. I allowed you to do something you clearly wasn't meant to do. Who am I little angel?"

Baffled by his question Nrven shouted out with no hesitation.

"You are the Creator of all."

Humming in agreement he run a hand through his silky black hair.

"That's right I am the Creator, that means I am the one to create life, not any of you. I messed up this time but I will never make the same mistake again."

The angels faces were all filled with shame and embarrassment, this was the most humiliating thing that has ever happened to them.

Clapping his hands loudly, the Creator summoned his work bench. Magically, it floated through the plush white clouds and situated itself directly in front of him.

The creator rolled up his sleeves and got to work moulding the obsidian in front of him.

Another angel Liara stepped closer to where Nrven was still on his knees. Gaining courage she spoke to the Creator.

"Dear Creator, forgive my impotence but may I ask, what are you doing?" Her questioning their Creator annoyed all of the angels, however they didn't want to ask the question themselves so they decided to forgive her.

Momentarily pausing, he lifted his head to meet hers, his ghostly eyes made her uncomfortable but she tried not to let it show.

"You angel's duty is now to protect life, the humans you created are now to be cared for and nurtured by you."

Pure bliss rushed through every angel, they were so happy that they could love their creations and that they could continue to live. For a second they thought the creator was going to destroy everything they held dear.

"Yes it's lovely isn't it, to watch what you create live, breath, and thrive. But not everything is allowed to live forever."

The Creators words stopped their celebration, all excitement and joy was now gone as they continued to listen to the Creator's proclamation.

"These humans need a limit, and their limit will now be death." The creator was a smart man, he wished he had created death in his angels. But it was too late now, he simply had to learn from his mistake.

With immortality comes greed, the Creator was afraid sometime soon his creations will lose their pure shine.
