Chapter 10

Calvin's Point of View

I knew that she heard me but I don't think she could catch me. I drove as fast as I could. The sun set already but I still don't see houses, I'm totally lost. I stopped the car and climb up on the top of the car to see if there's houses nearby.

"A road!" I exclaimed. I went down immediately and drove there.

I could just follow that path and I'll be fine. It's dark already, I should better get going. I climbed down and entered the car. I put the keys and tried to start the engine.

What?

The engine won't start! I tried to start it once more but it just won't start. I don't know how to fix cars.

"I'll just walk then..." I said, talking to myself.

I'm about to open the door's car but someone suddenly appeared in front of the car. I can see her face clearly because of the head light from the car. She raised her left arm and showed her gun she raised her other arm and showed her knife then she mouthed.

"How do you want to get killed?" Then smile widely.

She lost her mind! She's insane!

I immediately locked the door and closed all the windows and keep an eye on her. She pointed her gun on me so I dock quickly. I waited for the bang but she didn't shoot. I peaked slowly.

*Bang!*

She purposely waited for me to peak!

She went to the windows and break the glass. When she finally broke the glass, I opened the other door quickly and ran as fast as I could. I ran towards where I saw the road earlier.

I could get help from the cars who'll pass by...

"I think I lost her." I said while catching my breath. I am now walking to the path that I saw earlier,waiting for someone to pass by. Then I heard a siren wailing. I looked back and saw a police car approaching me.

I am saved!!! Thanks god!

I stood straight and wave at the police car to call for help. I almost cried because of the relief that I am feeling right now.

Finally, it's over now...

The car stopped in front of me and a police came out.

"Sir, what happened to you? Why you're covered with blood?" The police said.

"Help me, there's a killer on that mountain. She killed all of my friends, she's gone mad, she planned all of this and she's chasing after me. Help me please." I said, trembling in fear.

"Aw, how sad. Am I that bad? Hahaha!" The police said.

"What are you saying, sir?" I asked.

Then the police remove it's hat, and wig.

It's Clara!

She pulled the gun from her pocket. "Remember to say hi to Maya for me."

*Bang!*
