Chapter XXXI

Ayaan thought and headed to his room. He pushed the door open and shut it behind him. Raphael was nowhere to be found. He moved to his bed and sat for a while as he stared his little award in the jar.

"It looks just as beautiful as the first day." He said with a smile and Raphael came in.

"Ayaan, you're home. How was your trip?" Raphael asked and made himself comfortable on the bed.

"It was great." Ayaan said his face glowing.

"Interesting. Anubahd must have a way of making its visitors happy ay..." Raphael teased.

"It's a nice place and the King is very welcoming." Ayaan returned warmly.

"Ah... I see. Are you sure that's the only reason?" Raphael asked keenly.

"Why'd you ask that?" Ayaan asked as he now laid on the bed with his hand behind his head.

"It's written all over you buddy. You're literally glowing from happiness." Raphael laughed.

"Cut it out Raphael." Ayaan blushed.
