Chapter 9 : Enjoying Earth (2)

We are now in a car that is so comfortable to ride. While Embra is busy with his phone, me and Sethar are talking about the currency on our phone that Embra prepared for us. From there, we got to learn how much an average worker is paid daily in this country 'Japan' and how much an average family of four earn in a month. We learned how much a citizen of this country earned and then, we learned of the different between currency of other countries.

We are heading to the shop that Embra said we may need but, it seems there are too much traffic on the road because the fifteen minute trip is now extended to 30 minutes and we have already read about all documents concerning the 'currency' and 'daily wages' from our phone that Embra prepared for us. h and, it seems, these phones are also limited edition and there are only 50 of the same model. But, why are there 50, I wonder.

Embra is keeping himself busy with phones and laptops while we are surfing the Internet news like how Embra taught us. Wow. There are so many news here. I have read that this is the information era but, look how fast is these news.. It is written just 3 minutes ago and so many people have seen now. It seems there is a virus spreading in the country called, China. Oh, they found a patient with same virus in Japan, it seems. What is Virus? Oh yes, Google. It seems we can just type anything we want to know in this search bar.

From the Internet, I get to learn the definition of virus and what is this virus that is currently spreading is about. NOw i am getting a little sacred, it seems it is air-born virus. I can't let Sethar find out or she would definitely take me away.

"Seth-" (Keinnayi)

"Embra. What is this about?!" (Sethar)

Oh dear, she found out quick. This Internet is uncomfortable in these times. Embra who get shouted at by Sethar turn towards her and answers calmly,

"Well, it seems it is already here. Don't worry about your safety, I am preparing to go to my island and now preparing my private jet. I am just getting clearance to aboard the plane and the entry of the country my island exist. Just a minute." (Embra)

Sethar calms down with Embra's words but, it seems she has already unseal her power because her aura can now be felt. Now that her aura is spread out, I feel like this car is too narrow. She is already casted the purification magic and the defense magic regarding gas around us. It is nice of her to also protect Embra. But, I am getting a little worried about the people here. I wonder if they have purification magic like us too.

Wait, this is the technology advanced civilization. So, they will come up with a solution sooner or later I hope. Oh Embra is speaking someone on the phone. The language he is speaking is different than the 'Japanese' but, we do not have problem understanding it because all of us divine beings can understand every words and speech of mortal language.

It seems he is asking someone to get clearance to enter atmosphere of a country called 'Philippines'. They even need permission for that? Well, I will learn it later. Now, let's see the latest news.

An hour has already passed since we have arrived in front of an airport. Embra still do not allow us to get off the car. He said he is getting someone to bring his personal belongings from his house. Oh. He can even watch who is doing what in his house from his laptop. Mortals really have many things. Oh finally, the red dot on Embra's laptop which he said is the location of his belongings, has arrived near airport and Embra instruct the car driver with the phone to drive to the field directly.

On the wide field where huge vehicles, called planes, our car looks small compared to them. A blue plane that is not too small or too big compared to other planes, soon stopped not far away from the car and Embra instructs us to aboard the plane. He told us to enjoy the drinks while he check his belongings. The car driver moved the car to as close to the plane as possible so that we can just immediately aboard the plane as soon as we get off the car. Sethar and I aboard the plane accompanied by female flight attendants while Embra heads towards the huge car that stopped just beside the plane.

The interior of the private plane is also luxurious. There are even two bed separately, with each bed big enough to let two people sleep comfortably. There is a bathroom and even latrine on the plane that will be flying above clouds. Amazing. There are three flight attendants and two pilots who are all female. Wait, aren't they the same as those three employee that guard us in the mall?

I asked Sethar with eye signals and it seems she also think the same as me. Are they Embra's personal guards? Anyway, most of the people I see beside Embra seems to be women. Hm...

Oh, he is here. He looks a little exhausted. I beckon him to come over here where me and Sethar are drinking juice. I was just thinking of what topic to ask when Sethar immediately asked Embra as soon as he sit across us.

"Is it really safe at the place we are going? What is that virus anyway? Is it dangerous to a mortal's body? Can it be cured?" (Sethar)

Aiya. As a superior of her, I am getting embarrassed. Wait a minute why am I getting embarrassed in front of Embra? Ah.. I don't know anymore.

"Ahaha. You really are worried about your lady, huh? Don't worry. Unlike last night and this morning, I have everything under control." (Embra)

Embra is not fazed by Sethar's questions and reply calmly. I don't know why but, it seems my heart is already believing him when he said that he has everything under control. He explain slowly while the flight attendants are helping him takes off his clothes and serving him drinks.

"You know, I am a man with plans. I always think ahead and the thing I am most guarded is the element of surprise and unexpected factor. But, I really didn't expect in my entire life that the unexpected factor would be you two... *sip* Well, to answer your question, I already know of this. So, I have already made preparation. I already got vaccine on my hand. So, don't worry." (Embra)

"Wait, you already know this will happen? Are you going to help the people?" (Keinnayi)

My question make Embra smiles sadly. He answers while swirling the drink in his hand.

"I can't. This is too big of a storm for me to go against even if I use my entire fortune.... This world is cruel, girls. That is all you have to know for now. If you want to know more, learn about this world." (Embra)

Embra's words make me weak and forget the questions I was about to ask. I am sure it is the same for Sethar. Because we are not as ignorant as we are about this world before. We now know about the value of money and we are greatly aware that Embra's fortune can be listed in top five wealthiest individual in this world. But, he hides his fortunes in ways I do not understand and the world do not know. So, he is been called by his acquaintance as 'Unofficial Billionaire' because his name is not even in the list of 100 of billionaires in the whole world.

And, that Embra who is one of the richest people in the world said from his own mouth that he cannot go 'against this storm'. His words can not be more obvious and we are made to be aware that we arrived at a bad timing. I suddenly remember the words of the God who is in charge of this world.

'I implore you. I humbly request of you, please do not, under any circumstances, meddle with this world affairs. A small actions of yours can result in far worse future. So, please, I humbly request of you. ' (The god of Earth)

His words heavily reminded me again. I hate this times of the world. The time when the world is cleansing. So, many people, sinner or not, innocent or not, died. I am greatly sad. But, to me, who is looking down, Embra wake me up by putting down his cup loudly on the desk. He smiles at us haughtily, that if we don't know him better, we would have though him of a bad guy.

"Wait. Wait. Wait. What is with this heavy atmosphere? It is true that I said I cannot go against this storm. But, it only means when I am alone. I have a reliable best friend of mine who is more powerful and richer than me..." (Embra)

When I looks up, I see Sethar relaxing a bit, from the corner of my eyes. *smile* It seems she is also not fond of these times of a world. Of course, who would take pleasure in the deaths of millions.

"Well, I will be nice and tell you this. This .. storm is scheduled to last a decade at most and five years at least. But, I plan to reduced that to two years at most. This is my limit. I never said about giving up. In my island, I have my own supercomputer, you see. And, I also possess one of the advanced technology of this world. You see, there are hundreds of devices made from that technology, planted across my island. These device will cleanse the atmosphere 24/7.

See. This is no big deal. Even if you two didn't come, I would have gone to my island." (Embra)

His powerful words laced with absolute confidence that he is going to make them come true and his absolute trust in himself that there is no faults in his words gives me strength and courage not to feel weak. I am sure I am not the only one because I can read the expression of Sethar and five employees, who are also listening, clearly that they feel relieved at Embra's words.

His demeanor, his words and his aura... There is no mistake, he possess 'The Aura of a Monarch'. The ability to lead others, the ability to rule above others, the ability to trample others and more importantly, the quality to become a Monarch. Embra is definitely going to become someone great, great enough to be able to stand above all mortals.

I did not make a mistake in staying with him. More like this is the best decision I have ever made in my life because even to a god, the chance to meet with some one who possess 'The Aura of a Monarch' is rare. This is my first time meeting someone who possess it before he become an immortal. This is going to be a great vacation ever.

"Embra, why are we not going yet?" (Sethar)

"AH.. that? We are waiting for someone. I cannot just bring someone without any kind of identity to a foreign country, especially this time. So, just wait a few minutes. He said he is on his way here." (Embra)

Identity. Right, we need identity in this world. Anyway, when did he prepare this kind of thing? He is really fast. We waits a while for someone to come up before the clock hit 12:30 p.m. It seems five people came to meet with Embra but, a female flight attendant, Hanako, who also happened to be the best fighter on the plane, stopped them by EMbra's order and let only one man to come aboard.

One man who looks old because of white hair, come aboard and politely hand Embra a few books and files. Embra gives us two small books and a file each while he keep a small book and a file. Me and Sethar read what the small books and get to know that they are something called 'Passport'. ANd, oh my, look at this detail documents. Everything apart from my photo is all false. It is the same with Sethar.

I see, this is the birth certificate, citizenship document, health report from a three days ago and there is even insurance card and bank card for me. Oh, it is the same with Sethar too. What in the world.. there are too many for me to take in.. Wait. is this my photo when I was younger? How? Seriously how?

Mountains of questions pile up. It seems it is the same for Sethar. But, we do not ask Embra when he was talking with the man. It seems the man wants to curry favors with Embra who kick him out quickly. Embra orders Chie, the youngest flight attendant and the one responsible for food, not to takes the food from those men and kick them out.

Soon, a man came up with two huge boxes. As soon as the two boxes come up, Embra instruct the pilots Maki and Izumi to depart to Philippines. We forgot to ask questions for a moment because we are excited with experiencing the plane go up and only after the plane is flying stably among the clouds, we remember to ask Embra questions.
