Chapter 62 : Small Talk and Sweet Talk

Embra, Keinnayi, Sethar, and Algadore go into the black hole created by the old man and now, the two creator goddesses are left in the separate dimension. They are looking at the black hole until it disappears to start a talk. Goddess Lashili starts talking still looking at the previous place where a black hole existed. Her eyes look like they are looking at the far distance and her voice are laced with nostalgic,

"Goddess Gaia, I may be younger than you and inexperienced compared to you but, I have lived for billions of years. And, through those years, Embra is the first person that makes me respect him. Be it, mortals or gods, he is a unique existence I have never encountered in my entire life. I think he will become quite a man in the future and soar through heaven." (Lashili)

Goddess Lashili's voice sounds distance like she is talking about the past but, Goddess Gaia nows the real intention behind the words. Goddess Gaia replies to Goddess Lashili after leaning on the sofa and thinking for a bit.

"I heard thou clearly. I know what thou wants to mean by those words. But, I want to believe in him. No, I believe in him and his virtues." (Gaia)

Goddess Lashili also leans on one side of her sofa and support her head with her left hand. she closes her eyes to think again and says,

"It may be to your knowledge but, I have reincarnated two people to this world. The first is Embra and the second is a person close to Embra." (Lashili)

"It is to my knowledge and I am fully aware of the reason why thou did it." (Gaia)

"I see. That time when I was reincarnating the other person, I used my authority of the goddess of reincarnation and looked into the future. But, even with my authority, I could not foresee this trial. Such a mistake. Alas, This is also the first time, I have ever failed in foreseeing a mortal's live." (Lashili)

Goddess Gaia laughs softly hearing Goddess Lashili sighs while talking about past events. She consoles Goddess Lashili,

"Thou should remember that the trial is a trial created by God Brahma. Fate, Time, and Space do not work on the trial. So, even if you did foresee Embra's life in this world, the trial was not a part of it, right?" (Gaia)

"It is correct, Goddess Gaia. I have foreseen sixty years of Embra's life in this world but, I did not see him facing the trial nor did I see him passing the trial. It was a miracle. Now, Embra is leading a whole new branch of reality. A whole new path to the future. Honestly, I could not see his future now. *smile* As expected of a person who passed the trial held by god Brahma himself." (Lashili)

Both goddesses laugh softly to let each other knows that they are thinking the same thing. Indeed, Embra is now leading to a whole new future. A future that even a creator goddess could not predict. The trial of true-self held by God Brahma himself is known as the special trial and Embra who passed the trial, not only gained the halo connected by his own, virtues and haki, he also obtains something he still didn't know. That is fateless. Embra's fate is now unknown.

He can become whatever he wants and he will not be held by threads of fate. Embra has not still learned of this reward but, he will learn of this in the future.

After a long silence, the small talk of the two creator goddesses ended with the words of Goddess Gaia.

"We may be powerful but, this time with Embra proved that there is still much unknown to us. So, I will watch over him too... And, the words thou said earlier, I will leave it the decision to my beloved Niece, if it is her, I am sure, she will make a decision she will not regret. As an aunt of her and the sister of her mother, I believe in Keinnayi and of course, Embra too.

They will write their own story, we old people have no place in their story. That's what I believe." (Gaia)

Someone in the world, a black hole form in the middle of the sea of cloud, and four young people come out lead by an old man in white clothing. They are Embra and the three girls with the old god who rule this world, at front.

As soon as they set foot on a huge cloud, the surrounding clouds begin to disperse to reveal a magnificent Greek temple. The old man leads Embra and the others to his resident and while walking behind the old god, Embra is making eye contact with the other three girls and winks at them. The three girls are confused about what Embra means and look at each other but, soon, Keinnayi got what Embra wanted to means as she recalled the moment before they walk past the black hole.

' I see. So, he is going to execute his plan, huh? Let's see what will you do, Embra.' (Keinnayi's thought)

Keinnayi, who got Embra's meaning send her thoughts to the other two girls and explain the situation. Soon, the two girls understood the meaning of Embra's wink and they nod at Embra. Embra smiles and turns his head back to the front to approach the old man.

The meaning of Embra's wink, 'Just relax and enjoy the show'.

Embra walks up towards the old god and started a conversation while trying his words so that he does not sounds insulting. The old man has just returned back after being scolded by the HEaven court. So, of course, he would be not in the good mood. So, Embra has to be extra careful with his words while talking with the old man.

"This is a great building, old man. It is magnificent. Does it have a name?" (Embra)

"... Of course, it has a name. I called it ..." (Old god)

This is the start of Embra's plan, 'Getting friendly with the old god'. So, while walking beside the old god, Embra initiates a friendly conversation with the old man to get on his good side. Embra first praises the Greek Temple while making the old man think that he does not know of any extra knowledge about the world besides the places he is born.

But, Embra's ignorant does not portray him as a stupid person in the old man's eyes because Embra shows his calculation ability here and there. For example, Embra approximately guessed this world's population from the basic knowledge the old god provided. Embra also shows his memorizing ability by using the gift, 'Photographic memory'. Though he needs to concentrate before he could remember as a photo, Embra does not have any difficulty doing that while talking with the old man because he has complete control over his thoughts.

"... Haven't we already crossed this path, old man? Look, these symbols are the same as the symbols on the first pillar of that corridor we passed earlier." (Embra)

While walking, Embra points towards the symbols on the pillars on the right side of the corridor they are walking. The old man laughs and explains gently as he would to a grandson.

"Oh, good memory, Embra. They are indeed the symbols you met on the previous corridor. They are defense mechanisms in case of intruders, you see." (Old god)

"Wow. You are wise, Old man. I admire you. You are prepared, aren't you? The same rooms, the same pillars and the same symbols. The intruders would have a very hard time in here." (Embra)

"Of course, Embra. This maze is built to confuse the intruders. After all, this leads to my treasure chamber." (Old god)

"Hoho. I am getting excited, old man. Aren't we there yet?" (Embra)

"HAhaha. Patient, Embra, Patient. You will see the wealth of this whole world soon." (Old god)

"I am expecting very much, old man. Let's hurry and go there." (Embra)

The old man laughs happily while talking with Embra. The old man's previous 'uninterested' behavior is no longer there and he is all smiles now. So, Embra's plan can be said to be a huge success and the three girls following the two of them, Embra and the old god, are surprised. They talk with telepathy, not to be heard.

{That was amazing. Embra is now completely on the old man's good side, isn't it? How long did he take? Fifteen minutes?} (Algadore)

{Yes. I think so too. That's why I said that we should just enjoy the show.} (Keinnayi)

{He is too good at this. I am starting to see how did Embra's fortune never goes down even though he was spending money without minding it a bit.} (Sethar)

{His sweet talk, huh? Say, Keinnayi, if the system can evaluate his sweet talk skill, how will it be?} (Algadore)

{Hm... I have never tried it before. Maybe it is 'Grandmaster' level..?} (Keinnayi)

{Nyahahha. His sweet-talking is the highest among all of his combat skills? Haha. My stomach...} (Algadore)

The three girls are walking calmly on the outside but, on the inside, they are having fun talking to each other about Embra. Especially, Keinnayi is having the most fun because her voice even sounds a little proud of Embra.

Soon, all of them reached in front of a huge door with many unknown symbols inscribed on it. The old god opens the door and invites Embra and others. As soon as the door is opened, light shines behind the door and soon, they are met with mountains upon mountains of gold and treasure. Embra was not fazed by this little gold because, during the trial when the sin of greed tempted him, he once took a bath in a huge pond built with jewelry only and sat upon mountains of gold that reached till the heaven.

But, for the sake of it, he shows an 'extremely' surprised expression and cover his mouth. But, that is all he did. He does not try to go running into the treasure room like a spell-bound idiot. The old man smiles not being disappointed and welcomes the other people into his treasure chamber.

"Well now, Embra. Let's first choose a material for your demon-slaying sword." (Old god)
