Announcement
Hey guys, I know I haven't posted for a couple of weeks now and for those of you who still care about this story I would like to express my gratitude for sticking with it so far.
I realize updates have been inconsistent, and that's something I haven't been happy with.
It's been a tough few months, and between work, studies and everything else. Let's just say I've been a little busy. Real life sometimes gets in the way, am I right?
Don't worry. I'm not dropping the story nor am I taking a Hiatus.
Instead I'm announcing a new schedule. From now on, I'll be updating at least two times a week for my story (Ultimate Cypher) and once a week for my other fic, (Altered Mind).
I haven't decided on the days yet, but I should be updating in the next few days for both stories.
Stay tuned for more, this isn't the end by a long shot.
In fact I've got a few stories lined up for after I'm finished with (Ultimate Cypher) and (Altered Mind). But, that's still a little ways off.
One of them is a DC fic and the other will probably be a Harry Potter or even a Naruto fic.

On another note I've been getting some comments that recommended I should do a recap for those of you who have been following the story for a while now.
I'll try to keep things clear and concise. I will list all the Mc's powers so far and expand on how they work. I have also added a short summary on each character. Or, At least those who are important for the story.
Here's a small recap of the characters and the story for those of you, who need a little refresher.

[Events so far]
Cypher has been trying to gather both allies and powers in preparation for The Mad Titan's arrival. All whilst combating and dealing with threats on the home front; with Trask on the loose, the shadow King nowhere to be found, and several other organizations going into hiding or causing trouble. They're all turning out to be a distraction from the real threats coming to destroy them.
He secretly fears that he will lose Jean to the Phoenix (a Multiversal entity of rebirth of destruction). The time Stone won't show him the future past a certain point in time and the process of coming with a force large enough to combat Thanos' interstellar armada has been challenging.
Cypher hopes all his efforts will be enough, and that all of his work will be enough to stop Thanos as well as any threats that try and destroy the Earth.

[List of Cypher's Powers]
- Runes/Omnilingual ( Mutant Power)
- Cypher fed limbo's core with energy from 3 different Infinity Stones and through some complex spells, managed to funnel some of that energy to himself through the mystical connection he has to limbo as its current master.
So it goes as : -
Infinity stone > Limbo's core > limbo > Cypher
The amount of energy that trickles through to him is enough for Cypher to develop several new abilities using the energy from the Infinity Stones, without harm to himself.
The abilities are :-
- Reality Stone ( Matter transmutation)
Limit: The transmutation is temporary and gets harder to do the further away the intended material is different from the original.
- Space Stone ( Teleportation/Phasing)
Limit: It needs focus to do, and can be interrupted if said focus is broken.
- Time Stone ( Rewind)
Limit: Can rewind anything he touches to 30 seconds ago in the past. Anything further will create time acrhonisms, without the use of the time stone itself. Repeated use can make it less effective, since time echos can develop and certain things won't be reversed.
- Enhanced Physiology due to the Spider and Extremis Serum.
- Strength (Middle Tier) 45 Tons (55) Venom suit.
- Speed (low tier speedster)
- Reaction Speed (Can dodge bullets, but not see them) Depends on distance.
- Healing factor ( Can regenerate limbs, and major organs but major damage can incapacitate him until his healing factor takes care of it)
Equipment : [Endo-Sym Armor]
It is a Nano-Vibranium/Symbiote Armor made from Vibranium nanites enhanced by a Symbiote that has been exposed to the light dimension's energy cleansing it of the weaknesses that normally come with Symbiotes; like sound and fire.
It is also better at healing and doesn't have a mind of it's own and is under the complete control of its user. But, as a consequence it's combat abilities are inferior to a normal Symbiote, but it makes up for it in sheer versatility and healing ability.
The suit itself is powered by a graviton infused arc reactor, which acts as a power source and gives the user the ability to alter his own gravitonal field.
Capabilities :-
- Boosts defense
- Boosts healing
- Boosts Strength/Speed
- Flight (Due to minor gravitational manipulation) Grav-Reactor.
[Chi-mode]
- Boosts Strength/Speed/Reaction time 2x
[Master of the Mystic Arts]
- Can do most spells like the Bands of Cyttrok, Mandela Shields, Astral projection, and opening portals to the Mirror Dimension.
(Weaknesses)
- Dark dimension energy
- Chaos Magic
- God force
- Overwhelming physical abiltiy
- Higher Dimensionsal Beings
- Biological weapons
- Runes and a claimed space. It stops teleportation and the magic of the sorcerer.
- Powerful witches as well as other sorcerers or demons with enough mystic might.

Main Character : Douglas Ramsey aka (Cypher/Enigma). He is the Ceo of Cypher Solutions which is a large software company. It is similar to the company Microsoft in our world. He is currently dating Jean Grey. He is a Mutant as well as a sorcerer. He was sworn to protect the earth, when he took his vows to be a Master of the Mystic arts.
Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat) : She is the first friend our MC ever made, she has the ability to phase through objects and can also imbue that ability to anything she's touching. She's currently dating Colossus, but still has a crush on Douglas. She's also a Master of the Mystic Arts although to a lesser degree. She's roughly on the same level as Wong from the MCU.
Jean Grey (Phoenix) : Mutant. Her powers consist of telepathy, telekinesis and empathic resonance. Host to the Phoenix(Which comes with its own set of powers) . She was trained by the Ancient One to help suppress the Phoenix, but still struggles with outburst and flares from time to time. She's currently dating our Mc, and studying to be a medical doctor with a minor degree in psychology.
The Parkers : Richard and Mary Parker. Parents to the future Spiderman, and former shield agents/scientists. Richard along with his friend Eddie Brock Sr. were working on a cure for terminal diseases, in the form of a biological suit that could repair its host's body. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only thing it did. It also gave superhuman-like abilities and could potentially cause mental instability to the host. Fearing the suit would be used as a weapon instead of a cure, he decided to hide their research. Eddie, unhappy with his decision, tried to go behind Richard's back and sign a contract with Trask Industries that would cause them to lose ownership of the suit. After the crash, it was revealed that his project had been taken away, and later became the basis of Venom. Mary Parker was rescued by Doug, before the plane crashed but was in critical condition. Doug helped save her life. Both Mary and Richard currently work for Cypher Labs.
Dr. Maya Hansen : The inventor of the Extremis virus (Along with some help from Tony Stark after a one night stand). Doug rescued her from Aldrich Killian's labs and told her about what Killian was doing behind her back with her serum (Human Experimentation). She was also offered a job and protection in exchange for being the head researcher in Cypher labs. She's currently missing, as her body was taken over by a psychic Parasite called the Shadow King.
Piotr Rasputin (Colossus): Mutant. Brother of Illyana Rasputin. He is currently living in New York and is part of a team that gets sent to rescue young mutants. He has the ability to turn his body into a Bio-metallic polymer that resembles metal, which gives him enhanced durability and strength.
Illyana Rasputin ( Magik) : Sister of Piotr Rasputin. She has Mutant and Magical powers. She can teleport and create swords made out of energy, she's currently in training as the Ancient One's personal disciple. She's also a bit impulsive and always trying to prove herself capable. She still gets nightmares from her time in limbo and fears being powerless.
