Several hours later the Blackbird came to a halt on top of one of the many abandoned houses in this area of Giza close to the pyramids.

The numerous costumed heroes began trooping down the ramp, awaiting Xavier's mental commands, the old telepath speaking to the numerous mutants mentally.

"Beast, you take Kurt and Bobby, search the house to the north. Scott, and Logan you search to the west. Orroro, please check the warehouses to the east. And, remember if you see Wanda try not to engage her unless there is no other choice."

At that the two groups of X-Men set off to the north and west as Storm lifted herself with the winds.

Storm swept down from the rooftop, her cape billowing out behind her as she flew down towards the nearest house, swooping down to the door, one hand taking hold of the rusted metal handle and giving it a hard yank, eyes narrowing as it didn't budge, taking it with both hands and simply wrenching it off its hinges.

Quickly she stepped inside, walking towards the center of the dusty old house, her hair standing on end as she heard a deep and intensely creepy voice from the shadows in the warehouse around her.

"Who are you? " The voice whispered.

Orroro turned around and gasped as soon as she saw the figure standing behind her in the dark.

An obese man, dressed in a strong man costume, stepped out with heavy steps almost shaking the whole building.

Orroro communicated hurriedly.

< I can sense your location my dear, Scott and Logan are heading right towards you. >

" You shouldn't be here." Blob said, ambling towards her with heavy footsteps.

Seeing the cruel look in his eyes, Orroro charged up for an attack. Lightning sparkled and arched off her as the wind around them picked up.

" We don't want any trouble we're just looking for someone." She spoke.

" Oh yeah? Who do you want to talk to, sweet cheeks? Why don't you talk to me?" He said.

" We're looking for Wanda Maximoff. " She said.

The giant stopped short at that and scrutinized her. " Watch'a want with the boss's daughter? "

" We just want to talk to her." Storm said.

Blob was only a few feet away from her, and if it weren't for the fact, she hadn't let her guard down, she reckoned she'd be missing a head right about now.

*Crash*

Blob's hand went through the wall behind her and seconds later the wall came crashing down.

In response Storm released her attack at Blob, hitting him right in the back.

"He...He..He.. It tickles." He chuckled.

Orroro's eyes widened in surprise, and quickly dodged the piece of wall Blob decided to throw at her.

She kept blasting him with one attack after another, but he seemingly shrugged everything off.

His skin was singed and would blacken with every hit. With that said, Blob's body was impervious to almost all damage, but even if someone did manage to injure him, Blob had a healing factor too.

The way it worked is that his skin cells grew at an accelerated rate to replace themselves, his nerve endings also did not relay any pain perception to his brain, which meant even if he happened to suffer a powerful strike that should injure him, he won't know he was hurt, unless it was a disabling injury.

Seeing as her attacks where proofing to be useless, she tried to stall for time until reinforcements arrived.

Storm kept dodging Blob's clumsy attempts to hit her, but still tussled with finding a way to subdue the enormous mutant.

The problem is, no matter how much she increased the voltage he did not seem phased by it, and more often than not, he would merely chuckle and shrug off her attacks.

On the bright side she managed to lure him outside, as to not give him a chance to corner her.

All things considered Blob didn't seem that intelligent, which was fortunate, since he was already proving to be a difficult opponent.

Next, Storm tried to lift Blob to throw him, but his feet appeared to stick to the ground itself so that not even the wind could budge him.

Unbeknownst to Storm, one of the biggest reasons that nothing seemed to move Blob was because his body created its own gravitational field and pretty much attached his feet to the ground.

Running out of things to throw Blob started plowing his fists into the ground and ripped out large pieces of earth. But nevertheless, nothing changed.

Their fight was suddenly interrupted by a concussive red blast, which managed to knock Blob a few feet back. The giant was startled and clearly surprised, but he remained unharmed.

"Storm! Who the hell, is this guy?! " Cyclops said.

" I don't know! But he's tougher than he looks." Storm said.

While Scott and Orroro were having their chat. Wolverine had already run up to Blob and started engaging him in Close-Quarters Combat.

A few seconds later, Wolverine flew right past them. After being hit by one of Blob's wild swings.

" Shit! " Cyclops said, before turning around and blasting Blob with his laser.

Unfortunately, his attacks weren't fairing any better. They would occasionally knock Blob back a bit but proved to be insufficient in neutralizing him – in fact, they were entertaining him.

"Quit playin' around with doughboy and get over here. We gotta get back to the team." Wolverine said.

"Wolverine, I'm a little busy right now!" Scott yelled out.

"Can it One-Eye. Iceman said Kurt was hurt pretty badly. We gotta head back now, so quit playin' and get rid o' doughboy so we can get goin'."Wolverine yelled out, having received a telepathic message from the professor, while Scott was busy fighting Blob.

"Well, if you care to help…perhaps we can get this done a little faster!" Scott shouted, clearly frustrated.

"Two of you?!" Blob yelled out as Wolverine began his approach.

"Makes no matter to me, I'm more man than all of you put together!" He yelled as he turned to face Wolverine and absorb his incoming drop-kick.

Wolverine's left foot and leg sank halfway into Blob's stomach before the rubbery mass bounced him out like a giant trampoline.

Wolverine slid into the ground doing 3 rolls before coming to rest against a large tree.

" Guess I won't be trying that again." he said to himself as he shook his head and regained his composure.

"Well, if I can't beat 'em, I'll perforate 'em." He said as he unsheathed his claws and headed back to the now laughing giant.

Blob was distracted by Cyclops' optical blast as Wolverine made his second approach.

As nimble as he was, Blob didn't see Wolverine until he was almost underneath him.

Wolverine speared all 6 claws into the Blob's enormous leg – much to his surprise.

Logan was sure this would bring the 8ft. giant tumbling down but much to his surprise, it barely had an effect on him.

When he withdrew his claws there was barely a drop of blood on them. With Blob's mutant ability, the punctured skin sealed up like play dough.

"What the Fuck! What the hell does it take to bring this guy down?"Wolverine yelled.

"Hey – what's that behind me? A bug clawin' at my leg?" The towering giant yelled as he turned to get a glimpse of Logan.

"You know what I like to do with annoying bugs? I squash 'em!" Blob yelled as he reared down on Wolverine.

Only Logan's quickness saved him from what was sure to be a painful blow– sending Blob crashing down on nothing but earth.

Logan could feel the ground shake as the nearly 1,000lb behemoth hit it.

" Come here little man!" the Blob yelled as he clumsily climbed to his feet.

Logan used Blob's head as a launching pad to climb over and in front of him.

"Well, kicking and punching ain't doin' a thing ta stop ya, so I guess I'll have to try slicing and dicing.'" He said as he grinded his six claws together creating the unmistakable sound of sharp metal against itself.

"We'll see who gets sliced and diced." Blob yelled as he lunged at Wolverine.

"You gotta be kiddin'!" Logan said while easily dodging Blob's attempt and diving between his legs, emerging behind him unscathed.

It was then that he took a swipe at the Blob's backside, carving out several chunks of flesh. It seems Adamantium was strong enough to cut through his thick hide unhindered.

"Arrrgh!" the Blob yelled as he reached behind himself and felt his backside.

Seeing the blood on his hand, he took off running in the opposite direction trying to escape– nearly trampling Cyclops in the process.

It wasn't Wolverine's most impressive victory, but it would suffice.

"Now that I'm through cleanin' up yer mess, let's get back to the team." Wolverine said.
