The Visitor

"Who's there?" Anika asks out loud.

The cornfields from this farm have attracted extraterrestrials before. She wouldn't be surprised if another alien landed here. Although she will still feel a bit scared if it's not from the planet Andromeda. It's the new name of Mother planet since the new queen is Andromeda.

Celestia and Astro are also busy looking for whatever crashes in the cornfields. They have to make sure that there is enough corn left for harvest. But it's too big to easily locate the crash site. At least they can be sure that there is still a lot of corn for them to harvest.

All of a sudden, the twins saw some movement from the right side of the cornfield. They looked at each other and signaled each other to go to that part. Astro is courageous while Celestia is the wise one. It's easy for them to do anything as long as they are together. It's not just a cliche because they can function properly together in a literal sense.

"I'll stay here and you go to the other side!" Celestia informed her brother.

Astro nodded and ran on the other side without making the move to move. Even a wild animal will never know that he is around. He then stopped in the opposite direction from Celestia. Their mother is on the part of the cornfield away from them. But whatever it is, they can capture it and bring it to her.

"Don't move! Stay where you are!" Astro shouted when he spotted the man who looked confused by his presence.

"My name is Capri. I come in peace!" He announced while his hands were in the air.

Celestia walked towards the voices and found her brother with the military-looking guy. She noticed that the stranger looked too perfect to be from Earth. Although they look way more perfect because of the alien blood running through their veins. Their parents told them everything about their story.

"My name is Astro and that's my sister Celestia," Astro told the stranger.

"You don't look like earthlings! But do you happen to know Evan and Anika Smith?" Capri asks, hoping that he is in the right place.

The twins looked at each other and both thought about what their parents told them before. They told them that someday, they might have a visitor from a different planet. But they told them that it should be a woman. Right now, it's a very muscular-looking man who looks stuck inside their cornfield.

"How do you know them?" Celestia asks.

"Queen Andromeda sent me to find them. I need to talk to them about how to stop the Earth's apocalypse." Capri explained.

He seems to feel familiar with them even if they don't look like earthlings. They reminded him of the late prince and princess on his planet. Their looks are too perfect and divine compared to the pictures of people he saw before. Maybe their parents have great genes to have them.

"Did you just say, you were sent by Andie?" Anika asks as she emerges from the cornfield.

"Yes, ma'am! I'm General Capri from the planet Andromeda. Are you that Anika?" Capri replied and asked in an excited tone.

Anika suddenly screeches and jumps for joy as if seeing an old friend. She hugged the stranger and the twins looked in amazement. Their mom looks like she knows this guy.

"Let's go back to the house! We have a lot of things to talk about." Anika invited him to their home.

The twins and Capri followed Anika. Their mother knows this cornfield well. She knows where to turn to get out of this area. The twins can still get lost inside the cornfields. It's like a labyrinth for them. Their father taught them how to navigate around here. But he sometimes needs to call their mother.

The stranger looks like a tough guy but whenever some insect flies, he keeps on jumping. The twins can stop themselves from laughing out loud when they encounter a toad on their way. The tough-looking guy seems to be scared of insects and toads.

"You're Andie's fiance, right?" Anika asks as they arrived on the balcony of their house.

"Yes, ma'am! How did you know that?" Capri can't believe that this earthling is updated.

"Well, he told me that she will send me a sign when she gets engaged. She can send morse code from the stars." Anika explained.

The twins sit near them because they are intrigued by this visitor. Most of the time, people who visit them can't stop staring at them. But this guy is just ignoring them. He looks embarrassed and is just talking to his mother. They never had this type of visitor before and they are planning to stick around.

"I'm sorry, how come you don't stare at us like the others?" Celestia asks their visitor.

He didn't even look up to her but instead, looked at their mother as if asking for help.

"General Capri is from a different planet, my dear. He's used to seeing perfectly beautiful people like you two." Anika explained while laughing with their amazement.

"Mom, is it the same planet where you and dad meet the prince and princess?" Astro asks.

"Yes, Astro! He's from the planet Andromeda where your godmother Andie is from." Anika replied to her son.

"So, you named them Prince Astro and Princess Celestia? Capri asked.

"Yes, my husband and I want to have a reminder of the Mother planet," Anika replied to the visitor.

General Capri nodded and now understood why the twins looked familiar to him. He grew up with Prince Astro and Princess Celestia along with Andromeda. They look like the reincarnation and copy of their royalties.

"By the way, why did Andie send you?" Anika asks as she serves some refreshments.

"She wanted me to help your planet to avoid the apocalypse. The virus that your astronauts brought back from Mars is the invaders. They will take over the host and then take over your world!" Capri informed them seriously.

"Did you mean like a zombie apocalypse?" Anika gasps.

"Yes, I think that's what you call it here. But they will not just become walking dead. They will inhibit your planet and just use humans as a host. More like when our species came here but the differences are that they are hostile." Capri explained.

Anika remembered exactly how their species took some of their hosts before. That includes her and Evan. But the Andromedans stop it when they realize that it's hurting humans. If there's another species who will invade them, they might not be so lucky like before.

"Mom, what will happen to dad and our aunts?" Celestia asks in panic when she realizes what's about to happen.

"We have to find them before it's too late!" Anika exclaimed.

"If the virus gets inside them, that can be a problem!" Capri commented.

"Is there a way to stop this apocalypse from happening?" Astro asks.

"Of course, there is! That's why I'm here. But we have to find your dad first." Capri explained.

Anika agreed to Capri's idea. They have to find her husband and sister-in-law before they become a host. But if they want to do that, they need to hit the road right away.

"I think we need to borrow grandpa's truck!" Astro suggested.

"But it's as slow as a turtle!" Celestia complained.

"Don't worry, we'll fix it. I need to go back to my vehicle. Let's get the part to make the truck faster!" Capri informed them.

"Good idea, Capri! Astro, please go with him to recover the parts needed for grandpa's truck. I need to talk to him first." Anika instructed.

"I will go with you mom! I can make grandpa lend us his truck." Celestia suggested.

"Ok then, let's do this!" Anika agreed and they went on their separate things to do.
