Divorce And Betrayal

"By the time you read this letter, I will be very far away from you. I also don't want you to search for me because I think, that, we should end our relationship. I apologize to you, Jung Sang Hoon but this is all I can do to make us both be happy. I have chosen another guy and we both love one another.

He has always been my love and I wish to spend my rest of my lifetime with him. I am sorry but I have tried to forget him but I just can't! I just can't forget the days spent with him and I want to make all those memories again.

Therefore, I ask you for a divorce. I already have signed the papers and placed them in your drawer, all I need is your sign and then we can submit the paper in the civil affairs bureau.

You have taken good care of me and trusted me but I am sorry, I can't do that to you. You are a good man, Mr. Jung Sang Hoon but I have some other man in my heart. I hope you will understand what I said and I hope you find someone much much better than me, Mr. Jung Sang Hoon. Stay well, Sang Hoon!

Thank you!"

Sang Hoon read the content of the letter and he couldn't believe what he had read.

"WHAT?..." Sang Hoon reread the letter again and again only to realize that Ah-Yeong was asking for a divorce from him.

"Stay well? How am I supposed to stay well without you?" He quickly crumpled the paper and threw it on the floor. "No! No, I shall never divorce you, Ah-Yeong! You are only mine and mine!" He quickly walked out of the room holding the ring in his hand.

Taking his phone, he called her only to hear that the phone was switched off.

"Sh*t!!!" He threw the phone on the bed and sat down on his knees near the end of the bed.

"Why a divorce, Ah-Yeong? Did you not understand what I said yesterday?" Sang Hoon was so hurt and angered by her letter that he punched his fists on the floor until they started to bleed. His knuckles were hurting but that didn't matter. The fact that Ah-Yeong had left him mattered more. He quickly took his phone to give another call but...

"It doesn't matter! She chose that guy over me so, what right do I have to call her now?" He threw the phone back on the bed and looked at his bleeding knuckles.

And seeing all this, he laughed... laughed so badly that if someone was to hear him, they would run away from him thinking that he was a maniac who had just escaped from an asylum.

"My heart will beat only for you, only and only for you, Ah-Yeong. I can never let you go!" As he was going to lie down on the bed, he remembered something and rushed to her room.

Taking the crumpled paper from the floor, he sat on the chair and began writing all the things which he felt like writing. Walking inside her room, he placed the paper on the table with the ring on top of it.

"Even if she did go, she will come back to take the papers and also her luggage, that time she will see this letter!"

He then walked out closing the room after him.

It had already been 15-20 minutes but Ah-Yeong saw no sign of Dae-Hyun. She began to wonder why it was making him this late and she became curious. She stepped out of her car and reached his house only to hear angry yelling from the inside.

Her heart began to beat rapidly as she feared to see the worst. She slowly peeked through the door which was left slightly open only to witness Dae-Hyun and a woman kiss.

"Isn't that his university friend, Eun Jin?" Not trying to believe what she saw, Ah-Yeong shook her head. Her heart was breaking into pieces and she was trying her best to not end up crying aloud.

Lastly, she felt that she lost her senses when she saw Dae-Hyun leaning forward to kiss Eun Jin. It was just like how he used to do whenever Ah-Yeong was angry. Her heart turned into ashes and tears formed in her eyes.

Ah-Yeong had never expected her life to be like this. She knew she was just being overly sensitive but what she heard or witnessed through her own eyes couldn't have possibly been wrong.

"I will drop her to the hotel and come to you, okay? Just wait for me... After we get married, she won't be in our life, anymore."

These words were loud enough for Ah-Yeong to hear and she became shocked. Ah-Yeong felt like laughing out loud due to his words. Few days before, she had also said the same sentence to Dae-Hyun regarding her divorce with Sang Hoon.

She quietly turned around and walked back to her car, crying.

'Marriage? If you were going to marry her, why did you play with me like a fool?' She thought to herself and chuckled. It was all useless to now think of such things, wasn't it?

Sitting in the passenger's seat, she waited for him to come while pretending as if nothing had happened. Ah-Yeong was now determined to not leave without knowing the answers to her questions.

After a twenty-minute drive, Dae-Hyun stopped the car. He looked at Ah-Yeong, she was a little different but that was fine. He never cared for her to begin with after their breakup. He quickly opened his door, got out and took out the luggage from the back seat.

As he began to enter inside the hotel, he heard her ask

"Why did you play with me?"
