A Little Meal!

The next afternoon, again Da-Jung and Woo-Jin began practicing with one another. While Woo-Jin sang, Da-Jung played the instrumental version of the song.

Few songs which Woo-Jin was going to sing during the concert were from his albums he had released previously. He was going to sing four of his original songs and the rest were all just a cover of the songs sung by various other artists. Woo-Jin's soulful voice echoed in the practice room and Da-Jung couldn't help but observe him sing. His voice was really beautiful and it immediately bought goosebumps on her body.

She couldn't really believe that Woo-Jin had such an enchanting voice. It was just beautiful. It was soft and seemed like a lullaby to her ears. Da-Jung was mesmerized by his voice so much that she forgot to continue playing the piano.

"Is something the matter?" Not being able to hear any music, Woo-Jin stopped singing and looked at Da-Jung's reflection in the mirror. He saw her shaking her head. "Are you alright?" He asked and Da-Jung gave a nod. An uneasiness was reflected in his eyes but he soon maintained a calm composure.

"Let's continue!" Da-Jung shook her head and started playing the piano. Just as she began playing it, she heard Woo-Jin "Let's take a break! I feel hungry so, I will get something to eat."

If truth was to be told, after getting Da-Jung's approval, Woo-Jin glanced at Da-Jung and he noticed her giving a sigh. He didn't know the reason as to why she was sighing but he thought that maybe she needed a break. So, he made an excuse of hunger. His lips curved into a smile when she agreed.

Woo-Jin took out his phone from his pocket and called for his secretary. "Two servings of chicken soup and rice. Get them delivered in the practice room." He ordered and hung up. Soon enough, Woo-Jin's two hot servings of chicken soup and rice arrived and Da-Jung gulped her saliva down as she noticed the steam evaporating from the soup. Her stomach instantly rumbled as her eyes began to only see the chicken soup.

However, she tightly clenched her fists and sat upright all the while trying to focus on the musical notes in front of her. But no matter how much she tried, her eyesight only averted towards the food the handsome man who had ordered and was beginning to dig into it.

Come to think of it, she was in so much hurry to come to the practice room that she had all forgotten about having her lunch. Even after Sina asked her to join, she was so afraid of being late that she had to decline the food offer. As Da-Jung's stomach rumbled again, she couldn't help but touch and pat it. "Stay low! As soon as the practice is over, I will feed you!"

She had created some boundaries which she should oblige and follow whenever she was around Yang Woo-Jin. Other than just practicing alongside him, she made sure that she never got involved with her.

But somehow or the other she was ending up with him… just like that day when she had slept in his house. As Da-Jung thought about the second hand embarrassment she felt that day, she covered her face and shook her head with utter annoyance.

Her stomach rumbled again!

"Fine! Let's eat! I don't think it would be a big problem. I already broke my boundaries once!" She mumbled to herself and approached Woo-Jin who was slurping down his soup.

'Couldn't he just go and eat in his room? Ah! Look at this guy savoring this as if it his last bite!' She sneered and again went back.

"Let's just not do so! He can't eat those two bowls by himself. He will surely ask me to come."

Da-Jung waited and waited for Woo-Jin to ask and have a bite. Although her hand was holding the musical notes and her eyes were reading the paper, her ears and her mind was only and only focused on the slurping sound made by Woo-Jin.

She was also angry but at the same time she regretted creating boundaries. Well, who knew that a day like this will also come where she would get hungry and have to witness Woo-Jin eating in front of her. She could no longer take it and with a deep sigh, she decided to exit the room.

Just as her eyes stole a glance at Woo-Jin, she noticed him taking the second serving of chicken soup and rice to eat.

"Wait! I wanna eat too!" Don't know how she got those words out of her mouth. But now that she said that, Da-Jung realised that she had made a big mistake.

"You want to eat this?" She saw Woo-Jin asking with a frown on his face. The space between his brows was furrowed and Da-Jung wished that she could tap it to ease him. Realizing where her thoughts were going, Da-Jung shook her head.

"I presume it is a no?"

"No! No!!!… I mean yes…" Da-Jung stuttered, unable to find any proper words. However, she believed that in this kind of situation, action spoke louder than words. So, she approached him once again and sat opposite to him.

Pulling the tray towards her, Da-Jung began to eat. The soup wasn't that hot nor that cold. It was warm and even likeable. It was actually delicious. And quickly, quickly, Da-Jung began to eat.

Woo-Jin smiled as he observed her eat. He had intentionally ordered for two servings so that he and Da-Jung could eat but he didn't know how to ask her. So, he started eating without asking her.

But all in all, he tried to eat slowly so that Da-Jung would come over. He was already about to finish his serving and he didn't see Da-Jung move a bit. He thought of calling her… but before that he decided to move on to his next plan. And it was better for him to do that because he saw Da-Jung sit across him and pull the tray towards her.

Da-Jung noticed Woo-Jin staring at her and she cleared her throat.

"Uhh… I will go to the washroom. Excuse me!" Woo-Jin slowly began to push himself from the chair while smiling.

"What about your food? You haven't completed it yet…" Da-Jung noticed Woo-Jin's chicken soup and rice which was still left in the bowls. As much as she didn't wanted to involve herself with Woo-Jin, she had no choice… she couldn't let the food go to waste.

Woo-Jin sat back and began to take small bites from his food also while stealing glances at Da-Jung.

It was actually nice. It felt like old days for Woo-Jin. The days when they were together and Da-Jung always used to make sure that he never left his food incomplete. A satisfaction came within Woo-Jin's heart and the corners of his mouth turned upwards.
