The Truth Unfolds

"W… why?"

As Da-Jung heard what and why her father treated Woo-Jin like that, she couldn't help but not control her anger. She threw her mother's hand which was holding her and asked while stomping her feet "Why? Why would you do that?"

It so much hurt to see her parents' cry and Da-Jung wished that instead of her parents, it was someone else who did that to her. She trusted her parents, loved them the most.

Out of all the people around her, Da-Jung didn't think that her parents would do something like that to her. They had turned her life upside down just because they wanted to keep their restaurant going?!

"You… did you guys never loved me?"

Hearing such a heartbreaking question, Her parents' lifted their hands to touch her and caress her but Da-Jung moved behind.

"We always loved you, dear!"

Da-Jung knelt down on the floor and sobbed. "No parents who love their children would do that to their only child, would they?"

She looked up at them with her swollen red eyes and teary face.

"Why you never told me, Mom? Maybe if you would have told me, I wouldn't have despised Woo-Jin for our divorce. I would have not…"

As Da-Jung noticed her parents' silence, she let out a sigh. Wiping her tears, she sniffed and rubbed her nose.

"Let's… let's not think about that now. What's done is done." Da-Jung pushed down her father's hand and made him rest.

Covering him with a blanket and handing her mother the fruit tray, Da-Jung said while taking out her phone "Dad, you take rest. Mom, cut some fruits for Dad. I remember that I have some work to do. So, I will be going."

"Let's not think about the past. You both don't have to be sorry, either, okay?" With a tearful smile, she kissed her mother's cheek and her father's forehead and then left.

Her mother and father looked at one another surprised. "Is this really our daughter?"

Compared to the Da-Jung who was very stubborn, the Da-Jung whom they witnessed now was very compliant. They didn't know if they should be happy or sad that their daughter didn't give any heed to what they said and asked them to let go of the past.

"We both are sorry, Da-Jung!"

*DING-DONG* *DING-DONG* *DING-DONG*

It was ten at night and Woo-Jin was bawling his eyes out while trying to write a new song. However, his mind wasn't at all interested and he was being interrupted by constant ringing of the bell.

With frustration, he ran his hand over his hair and walked to the main door. "Coming! Coming!"

"Who the heck is this ringing the bell so annoyingly?"

As soon as he unlocked the door, *PA* Woo-Jin felt a tight slap on his face.

"What the f*ck? Who is…"

*PA*

He felt another slap on his right cheek and he looked at the person bewildered while touching his slapped cheek which was resonating with pain.

"Why are you…"

When Da-Jung lifted her hand to slap Woo-Jin once again, he held her hand and pushed her to the door. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? AND WHY ARE YOU SLAPPING ME, BYEON DA-JUNG? Is it for the slap I gave you few days back?"

He yelled at her and Da-Jung shrugged off her hand from his hold. When Woo-Jin saw Da-Jung again lifting her hand to slap him, he held both of her hands and pinned them above her head.

Pushing his body towards her, he moved closer and asked with a louder voice "ENOUGH! BYEON DA-JUNG, JUST ENOUGH! WHAT DID I DO THIS TIME? WHY ARE YOU SO ADAMANT ON SLAPPING ME?"

Da-Jung gritted her teeth and cursed inwardly in her mouth before moving over to grab on his lips. "You are a total idiot!" She whispered as she tried to suck on his lower lip. She removed her hands which he had pinned above her head and used them to pull him close by grabbing his t-shirt.

"Wa... Wait, Da-Jung..." Woo-Jin pushed her hands away and took multiple steps behind thereby breaking the kiss. He licked his lips which had turned dry. His entire body tingled as soon as he felt her hot lips and he wanted it to be carried on but... he also didn't want anyone of them to regret it later.

"Let's not do this. I don't want either of us to regret it later, Da-Jung." He turned around and continued "The door is open; I will go back to my study to do some work whereas you will leave. Have a good day and congratulations on your father waking up!"

Woo-Jin had heard about Da-Jung's father through Son Jinha. He wanted to meet him or atleast pass on some flowers but he knew that whatever he did; would have no meaning or effect on them.

However, just as he began to walk away to his room, he heard the clicking sound of the door and he let out a big sigh of relief thinking that Da-Jung was gone. "Wahhh!!! I would have just given myself. Ouch! Just what sort of a woman is she? Ah! My cheeks hurt so bad and this f*cking body lost its control. Guess, you are still vulnerable to her touches." Without turning around, he started talking to himself.

But his words got caught in his throat when he turned back around to check whether the door was closed properly or not. "You... are still here?" He asked when he saw her standing by the door and was letting out a big childish smile.

After hearing her father tell her that they were the one who wanted to break up and that was the reason why they were insulting Woo-Jin, Da-Jung was furious on Woo-Jin. She wanted him to atleast say to her so that she could help him. But instead of that, he had gone so far as to ask for a divorce.

She couldn't believe that he was willing to divorce her just so she can marry the guy whom her parents wanted to. And that is why, she angrily stomped her feet and rushed to his place to let out all her rage on him.

But after being pushed to the door, Da-Jung's anger subsided and she wanted to kiss those lips that were yelling at her. She had had her eyes on them for a long time and after four f*cking long years, Da-Jung tasted his lips again however, only for a short time or only for a few seconds.

More than regretting now, Da-Jung regretted not kissing him while they were in the elevator together or few days back when she came asking him why he never said that he had come to see her.

Da-Jung locked the door and walked inside. She changed into flip-flops which were of Woo-Jin's size and approached him. Clasping her hands behind her back, Da-Jung licked her lips which were dry and said "Why you never told me that my parents were threatening you and saying you many other things? Why you went through all that on your own, Woo-Jin Oppa?"

"I... I just..." Woo-Jin shook his head. Now that Da-Jung's father was awake, he didn't wanted to disrupt the bond between them. Besides, that happened four years ago, it was futile to talk about that now.

As she saw Woo-Jin walking to his room, Da-Jung quickly walked after him and tugged his sleeve. When Woo-Jin turned around to see her, she nervously fiddled with her fingers and asked with her head lowered "Can you not kiss me, Woo-Jin Oppa?"

"What?" Woo-Jin looked at her dumbfounded and Da-Jung looked up and pouted her lips. She pointed towards her lips and asked him to kiss them. "This..."
