Alex was bestowed special bloodlines by his summoners. But he didn't want it, he felt that his only purpose in life was to destroy those that caused him grief, pain and suffering.
Now that he had been summoned to a new Galaxy with no way back, He felt depressed and dejected.

With new powers and a new Galaxy, Alex decided that his new purpose in life is to find a purpose in life..

Unlike the first beast, the entire body of this beast was laid bare for Lex to see.

In a flash, Lex teleported far away from the park, appearing in the safety of a building that was surprisingly intact.

Unknown to Xander, the beast was afraid of him, but he thought that it could sense his position, which was not accurately so.

['As soon as it opened its eyes, the rest of its body appeared, isn't that like an ostrich?'] Al wondered.

['Ostriches bury their heads in the ground,'] Alex said.

['I know, smart ass, I was referring to the concept. Ostriches bury their heads in the ground thinking that no one would be able to see them that way, while these beasts only have to shut their eyes and their entire body and aura becomes hard to discern.'] Al theorized.
