Nice to meet you, my one and only future

As I wake up, my head feel dizzy. The things around me seems to spins around. I close my eyes and open it again after the count of 10.


I saw Ruby was there sitting in front of me. But this time her face was so cold and her warm gaze turns to ice. Ruby was like a different person from what I know.


"Ru....by.... is that... you....Ruby....?"  


I hesitated and my voice seems to tremble. I don't believe it was her. She stood up and the sound of her heels becomes louder as her come closer.


She was there right in front of me. She looks down at me and she held up my chin.


It was her. As soon as I confirm it was Ruby. My chest feel tight. It feel so heavy. Knowing her as my bestie in the world, I never thought that she will betray me like this.


"Ruby, how could you.... I though we are like sisters, I know you are forced, right? I mean I know you better than anyone in this world.... Please tell me this all was a joke and all this time, you are just pretending...."


"Hmph,if you don't know anything about my past, don't you ever says that you know me better than anyone in this world...." she says coldly.


"Ruby! Let me go now!" I fiercely scold her as I shake off my head from her hand. I have decide that I won't cry for anyone anymore, I will never let my cheek get wet from my tears ever again.


"Oh, so fierce. How cute~" She let go of my face.


Ruby slap across my face. My eyes widen and my right cheek stings a lot. I turn to look at her. Her face was emotionless. I was surprise of that sudden slap from her.


"This is for you because you dare to rise up your voice." She says coldly to me.


"You..... how dare you..." I was very helpless that moment. I feel sick of being helpless all the time. I grit my teeth and hold my anger inside because I know I was not at the advance. I decided to go with the flow. I stay quite and looks down at my shoes. 


"Stay here and take a reflects for yourself. Later Zachary will come and sees you. Till then, good bye. Remember the next time we meet again, call me Rue. Ruby is just my fake identity."


The sounds of her heels slowly gets far away from me until the sound of the doors closes up, the sound was completely gone.


As soon as Ruby close the door, she burst into tears and cry out. "I am sorry... I didn't mean that at all....."
