Chapter Eighteen: Love of Two Alphas

"Renny!" Dae-rí laughed, slightly breathless as her incorrigible Alpha sucked a light bruise onto the tattooed skin of her shoulder, her protests half-hearted at best. Unconsciously, she leaned into the sturdy arms wound about her waist, shifting her hips slightly as her flesh hardened in response to her mate's heady scent of arousal.

"We're supposed to be hunting,"  she mutters, a warmth curling low in her belly as Rennon let go of her thoroughly colored skin. A soft whine slipped from between her jaws as her Alpha put a measure of space between their forms, a protest of his absence.

"Goddess above how I want you, Rí," Rennon said in a voice halfway approaching the vicinity of a growl. His hands fisted in the ruffle of her shirt, just below her corset, and she turned, backing him into the tree at their back. His eyes burned with a golden fire, the counterpoint to her radiant silver irises. "We haven't had each other since last Rut."
