They have arrived at the exact location that fella told earlier.

Subaru is holding a lantern to see the place, but Rem just turns on her flashlight on her phone and it's already lighting up the whole thing.

Subaru looks at her phone.

"It's also a light source?"

Rem looks at him and nods.

"It's a strong one too. I bought this phone from a company who is willing to make it for me. I don't know what they did at first, but it looks like I can adjust the light."

Rem lowers the flashlight of her phone and the brightness of it lowers too.

Subaru: "That smartphone of yours is really handy, it has a lot of uses."

Rem looks at the loot house and its appearance. 

"It's like any other house we saw recently, but it looks like this one is well built, not really but it's a good home per say."

"Subaru, although I heard it, but do we really have to pay for it? It's stolen from us and we're going to pay back for it?"

Asked by Mimilia and Subaru looks at her.

"Don't worry, Mimi. I'm sure it'll be fine once it's over, and Rem?"

Subaru looks at Rem, which she looks at him.

"I-Is there something wrong?"

Rem asked.

Subaru: "You told me and mimi you'll help us right? 

Rem nods.

"I still haven't done that good deed yet, so I will assist both of you whenever you like."

Subaru: "Well then, can you go check inside to see if it's safe?"

Rem widens her eyes, as she doesn't really wanna go in there alone… but she said she'll help them. So she won't back down.

Rem: "Is that so? Well…"

She looks at them and smiles.

"I'll do so."

Emilia just pats his shoulders and he looks at him.

"Oi, Mimi. What's going on?"

Mimilia: "Subaru, I know we don't know her much, but it's really cruel to leave a lady like her inside there alone. 

You've technically seen what she's capable of, she's not a person who seems to be dependable and yet you're letting her in there alone."

Rem heard that and it kind of hurts to hear that from Mimilia.

Subaru: "Well what am I supposed to do?? I'm supposed to be protecting you, remember?"

Mimilia: "I can use magic. I can protect myself."

Subaru: "Oh but you know that I promised something to Puck! If I go in there and leave you with Rem. I'll get super anxious and my head will-

Mimilia looks at Rem.

"I trust Remura."

Subaru has gone quiet, so as Rem.

Rem's Thought's:

"She… trusts Rem?"

Mimilia: "We may have met her just a few hours ago. But so far I have no problems with her. So that's why I trust her."

Subaru groans and rubs the back of his head.

"Ahhg, you're really making me worry, Mimi! You know how much I worry about you when you're alone."

Mimilia: "If you really don't want Remura to be with me here, that means you don't trust her then."

Subaru: "Ah- wait hold on! I'm not saying I don't trust her!-"

Rem is looking at them talking, but she needs to just help them, and that's it. 

Rem will be satisfied if Miss Satella gets her Insignia back as soon as possible.

Maybe they'll meet again once she's done with this.

Rem looks at them before waking to the door and she adjusts her flashlight.

She pushes the door a bit and it easily opens. 

She looks at those two once more and she smiles at them before going inside the loot house alone and gently closes the door behind her and she looks around.

Rem looks around the place.

"This is scary… I'm already regretting this."

Rem starts to walk.

"Stolen goods, maybe? No poor house would have this much items, not unless they're hiding in secret or it's a place where they hide what they stole.

This is a loot house and a thief girl lives here…

Oh Rem you're stupid… It was obvious but you're too stupid to realize much faster."

Rem looks around the place and-

Rem just stepped on something wet…

Rem looks down on what she stopped on and she widens her eyes. 

It's… it's blood! A lot of it!

Rem starts to get nervous.

"W-what…?"

She slowly guides her phone to where the blood is coming from and she was more surprised to see this…

This big guy!

Rem backs off a little and looks at the old man. He's bleeding from his mouth… literally. 

Rem remembers what he looked like.

This is the guy that is with that kid Felt...

This is him! But now… he's… he's…

Rem's Thought's:

"W-wait a minute! If he's bleeding right now. T-t-that means!!!"

"Oh my… Looks like I've been discovered."

Rem freezes and her heart skipped a beat when she heard that female voice.

"That can't be helped then~..."

"Looks like you've given me no choice."

Rem turns around but before she can see who it is. 

Rem gets knocked back and she drops her phone far away.

Rem grunts in pain as she gets knocked off.

Rem is on the ground and she noticed she dropped her phone. She tried to get up but she held her stomach in pain, and she felt something wet. …

Rem looks at her hand and sees her hand is… covered in blood…

She slowly looks at her stomach and she sees a large cut, and she sees her own intestines. 

Rem's heart starts to beat fast.

She looks at her stomach, literally and blood is gushing out.

Rem: "I...Is this my…"

Rem feels the urge to vomit as she covers her mouth to prevent it, and blood starts coming out of her mouth.

Rem's Thought's:

"This…!! this is so painful!!..!"

Rem grunts as she tries to cover her abdomen that's been cut but it's too big and whenever Rem touches it, it hurts more.

The door opens and Subaru looks around.

"Remura?"

He noticed a light in that corner. Did Rem drop her phone or something or is It's a light source here.

Subaru comes in and searches for Rem.

"Rem? Reem? Are you in here?"

Rem's Thought's: "S-Subaru..?? N-no… n-no!! S-subaru! Get back! Or you'll get-!"

Rem heard metal clashing together and then something sliced and right in front of her eyes. Subaru falls near Rem. Not responding.

Rem: "S-Subaru…! N-no…. N-no…!!"

Rem's starts losing more blood now that her heart is pumping this fast.

She's in pain and agony… She's puddling in her own blood right now… Why isn't she dead?!

…

Rem sees something bright, thanks to the blood that is reflecting something.

It's… Something is glowing. She noticed something glowing on top of her forehead.

She tries to touch it but her abdomen pains more as she bites her lips to try and endure it. Maybe moving isn't a good idea.

Rem breathes from her mouth as her eyes start to lose it's sight.

The thing on her forehead is starting to die down as well.

Mimilia comes in.

"Subaru?"

She comes in no hesitation at all.

"Are you in here? Have you found Remura yet?"

Rem widens her eyes as she tries to warn Mimilia.

"M-Miss Mi-Milia…! D-don't!"

Mimilia heard that as she walked to the voice but she heard something from behind and she turned around.

Rem closes her eyes and she hears another thud and now sees Emilia laying down next to Subaru, also bleeding as well.

Rem looks at both of them and she tries to crawl to them, her guts start to come out whenever she crawls and it pains her so much that she bites her lips so hard her lips starting to bleed as well, but she doesn't stop, even though her screams of pain is terrifiying, even for Rem.

Rem's vision starts to blur, but finally she reaches Emilia and Subaru who have both of their hands close to each other.

To a light.

Is it heaven's calling…?

The glow that's on top of her head.

It's starting to disappear.

Rem, as it pains her. Reaches her hands to them.

She holds both of their hands as tight as ever.

She starts crying, and she knows it's hopeless. She should've been more aware. She should've been more careful...

"I-I'm sorry…"

Rem said slowly as the glow on top of her head disappeared as everything slowly turned to black.

Appa Salesman: "Well? Are you going to take it or not?"

Something just hit Rem mentally.

Her eyes widens and she falls to her knees trying to breathe.

Rem: "S-S- m-M-m-mM-!!"

She can't form words.

Rem tries to breathe and gets her thoughts together and the appa guy checks on Rem to see what the hell just happened.

Appa Guy: "Oi! What do you think you're doing there??"

Rem looks at him, and he seems hostile now against Rem.

Rem blinks and looks at him.

"Mister…"

Rem closes her eyes and breathes as she looks at him.

"Have you…"

She points to herself.

"Seen me before…?"

Appa Guy: "What? What are you talking about, lady. We haven't met before and I don't care! If you don't want the apple then get out of here! I don't need people kneeling down in my shop! Go!

Rem looks around the place, and once again deja vu hits her…

She checks her phone.

…

The battery percentage went up, and wasn't it night time…?

Rem holds her head as she calms down.

Rem: "It happened again… The first time this happened, everything is…"

Rem just remembered something.

Rem: "Miss Satella!! Subaru!!"

Rem turns her phone off and she quickly runs to the slums and to the loot house as fast as she can.

She died, and everything was reset, like last time, but she can't be sure yet! She has to check just to make sure!
