Arrogant Jerk...

"I just went to say thanks to him and look at the way he behaved to me. He doesn't even have any manners to speak with a beautiful girl like me. Humph!" Elysia growled in anger.

Still it couldn't help her to cool her mind as she again started berating him, "I thought at least he would have changed now but I was again wrong...

He can't ever change into the joyful Ivan again. Such a dumbass he is! Doesn't even know how to behave with someone who is showing her gratefulness to him."

"Arrogant Jerk!" Elysia cursed Ivan in her mind.

Ava Moore's cabin…

A knock on the door made Ava lost her attention from the design she was working on.

But when she looked at the person standing there with a big smile, her face also brightened up.

Laura walked towards her best friend come Co-partner and showed her the two coffee mugs in her hands.

Ava sighed in contentment and exclaimed, "Oh My God, Laura.. You truly are a savior for me...

I am already having a mild headache because of this design and you brought the best solution for it along with you."

"Hahaha.. Well, I know my bestie really well, you know. I heard from your assistant that you're currently working on the new project, so thought of bringing coffee for you...

This way, we could kill two birds with one stone. Your headache will reduce and we can also have some chats." Laura said handing Ava one of the coffee mugs.

Ava took a sip of the coffee which her friend had specially made for her and moaned in satisfaction.

"You really make the best coffee of the world, Laura." Ava praised her.

"Well, I'm already aware of it as you've told me this countless of times. Also I'm hearing this almost everyday from my dear hubby and loving daughter.." Laura stated.

Ava just smiled at her and teased, "You're worth of the praise. Actually your coffee is."

Laura hit her bestie's arm playfully and said, "Now, let's become serious. I have come to meet you for a special reason today."

"Special reason? And what is that?" Ava asked sipping her coffee.

"You saw the news yesterday night, right?" Laura asked.

Remembering about yesterday's incident, Ava chuckled and replied, "Yes.. Our Ely had really handled those two cheaters really well.

I must say that you and Aaron had taught her the best on how to tackle someone who was trying to stab you on your back. She's really a brave woman."

Laura smiled brightly as Ava praised Elysia and said, "Yeah.. She really is very much special to us. But do you know who helped her in making all these traps to catch Kiara and Liam red handed?"

Ava shook her head and asked confusedly, "I didn't have any idea that someone had helped her...

But now that you've mentioned that I really got the urge to know the person who have helped our daughter?"

Grinning widely, Laura wiggled her eyebrows at her best friend and stated, "What if I tell you that person is someone whom you know very dearly and who is really close to you."

Ava started to think hard but she couldn't have any idea about the person who had saved Elysia's career from a big disaster.

Sighing deeply, she pleaded to Laura, "At least give me one clue."

Ava chuckled and replied with a coy smile, "Just think about every details of yesterday's incident.

Like who have supported our Elysia the most and you'll get the answer yourself. I gave you the enough of hints already...

Now you have to find the rest yourself. Come on, use your brain now, my lovely bestie."

A layer of puzzlement covered the facial expression of Ava as she started to think about everything which had been telecasted live in yesterday's news.

After few minutes, when Laura's words stuck into her mind along with the reminder of the person who had even cancelled the contract of his two employees, Laura's eyes grew bigger than a saucer as she murmured, "No way!!!"
