Eligible for an arranged marriage...

After few minutes, when Laura's words stuck into her mind along with the reminder of the person who had even cancelled the contract of his two employees, Laura's eyes grew bigger than a saucer as she murmured, "No way!!!"

"Every way!!" Mrs. Davies said in a cheerful voice as her eyes showed pure excitement.

"But how could that be possible? Aren't both of our children enemies? Then how can it be possible for Ivan to help our Ely?" Ava asked in disbelief.

Laura just shrugged her shoulders before replying, "I don't know how but it seemed to be so great to see both of our children standing for each other."

Ava nodded her head and said, "Yes.. you are right. However you told me that you have come to meet me for a special reason..

Is that the one you're talking about? Or you have anything else to say?"

Laura then remembered the actual reason she had come here for and face-palmed herself.

"Look.. I got so much involved in talking about our children's issues that I forget to tell you about my main purpose of visiting you..

Actually Ava, yesterday Elysia had stayed at our place after the award show and went back only in morning today...

So when she was talking about Ivan's helpful gesture towards her, I and Aaron decided to arrange for a small dinner plan with you guys..

So we'll be happy if you along with your whole family come to our place this weekend so that we can have some enjoyment too." Laura invited her best friend.

Ava's face bloomed into a big smile and she said, "Of course, I will."

Laura too smiled and said, "Don't forget to bring the little princess with you."

"Oh! Not at all. You know how much Emma loves both you and Aaron. While she completely adores Elysia like her own aunt.

She'd definitely not want to miss the golden chance to meet her favourite people." Ava said with a small laugh.

"That's right." Laura too smiled and sipped her coffee.

Suddenly the atmosphere turned into a silent one when Ava stopped talking..

Laura frowned looking at her face who was staring aimlessly, drowning herself in her own thoughts.

"Ava.. You're okay, right?" Laura asked with concerned.

Ava immediately came out of her trance and replied, "Yeah.. yeah.. I'm all good. I was just thinking about something."

Laura's eyebrows furrowed as she asked confusedly, "What thoughts had made you drawn into it so much that you didn't even listen to me."

Sighing deeply, Ava said, "You just yourself told me about Ivan helping her, right?"

As an answer when Laura nodded her head, Ava continued, "That means only one thing..

That the amount of hatred our children showed to themselves are not too much deep like we are thinking of."

"Uhmm.. Ava.. I can't understand even a single thing which you're saying." Laura asked her friend.

Inhaling a sharp breath, Ava tried to calm herself down before explaining, "You already noticed the change between their behaviour which is in fact a good one but there is something better news than it..

Our Ely is now a single woman. She doesn't have any boyfriend anymore which means she is completely eligible for an arranged marriage right now."

Laura though for a while and said thoughtfully, "Yes, you are actually right about it. Now that Liam had gone out of her life, she's completely free."

"Yes... And that's why, I have a suggestion to give you. Actually not a suggestion but more like a proposal." Ava said with excitement filled in her eyes.

Laura gazed at her best friend for a second and asked in puzzlement, "What kind of proposal are you talking about Ava?"

Ava's eyes lit up like a light bulb the moment Laura asked her about the proposal and grinning widely, she stated in a single sentence, "Let's marry our children off."
