Salzburg, Austria

Awakened by the aroma of coffee and the morning light peeking in embarrassment, the breath of the morning spring signals warm earth coming soon. I glanced at the clock in the room, 10.15. I immediately jumped out of bed, grabbed the bath towel, remembering the appointment with Yura at 11.00 am, with the aim of travelling to Salzburg. Within 20 minutes I was ready with a backpack on my back, I kissed Valter on the cheek and hurried away, leaving Valter who shook his head at my behavior.

The scenery along the way from the city of Munich to Salzburg brings its own set of romance, complementing the bright, cheerful colors of the heart of this day. There is a beautiful lake against a backdrop of glistening alpine mountains and its snow-white peaks. with a breathtaking valley.

Salzburg is the fourth largest city in the country of Austria which is also the hometown of the world's great composer 'Wolgang Amadeus Mozart', the owner of works that are still played by classical orchestras today. Seen from a distance Hohensalzburg Fortress is located on the top of the hill Festungsberg, greeted us when we entered the city of Salzburg.

Hohensalzburg Fortress is the largest fortress in Central Europe. It was built in 1077.

We arrived at our accommodation in downtown Salzburg exactly two hours from the hour we left. There was no reception or someone waiting for us to check in, everything was done by a machine. We just needed to select the room, fill in the ID, make the payment with our card and the key was deposited from the bottom of the machine.

"We finally arrived, putting our backpacks on the table in the loft." I said as I walked closer to the window, my eyes were busy hunting to see if there was a pleasant view out there.

"It's lunch hour, let's go out and get around sis." Yura said.

I believe blessings and fortunes are not only in the form of material and material matters, beautiful scenery is also a part of a blessing as well as fortune. And being in Austria around Mirabell Palace & Garden in the spring when the roses were starting to bud, and getting ready to bloom is one of the greatest blessings I have received so far.

Mirabell Palace was built in 1606 as a symbol of the love of Prince Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau to present to his wife. They also lived in this palace having 15 children who all lived happily together in the palace.

Next to Mirabell Palace there is a garden that is also popular among people. Taman Mirabell Garden which is about 5 times the size of a soccer field. Expectations of flowers and grass that is manicured and neatly arranged, as well as the trees gave me a cool and serene impression. In between the gardens are decorated with fountains and also Greek-style statues, namely Hercules, Aeneas, Pluto, and Paris complement each other.

At the north end of the beautiful Mirabella Gardens, there is a small garden which I found quite interesting. In this park there were 15 dwarf statues all with creepy faces. The dwarf statues date from the 17th century and were made in different poses giving a different meaning for each dwarf.

Among them are dwarfs holding a shovel while looking up at the sky, which is a symbol of honest gardeners, blacksmiths, and even a pair of dwarfs playing the game of pallone, a very popular game during the Renaissance. There is a myth that in the past, these dwarf statues were alive, as many as 28 dwarfs lived and served the archbishop.

I dropped my body on the grass in the corner of the park which was quiet away from the crowds of visitors waiting for Yura who seemed not yet satisfied to leave this place. It was already twilight, and seemed to me that there wouldn't be enough time to be able to go around and see other places in Salzburg. I also seemed to not be getting enough rest lately since I've been jumping from one city to another.

I stretched my body and dropped my hands behind my body on the grass, my hands touched something that was definitely not grass.

ahh... A waist bag, a black gray canvas with bright orange accents, and a little leather on top. I grabbed the waist bag while peering around me to see if the owner was not far from the park.

The next minute I was shocked by the vibrations coming from the bag, I carefully opened the front zip bag and reached inside picking up a ringing phone.

"Hello" I said.

"Hello... Adsajdi sfnlfdff dckdvdvdv dvdvv." The male voice spoke in a language I didn't know, it felt like he was using German.

"English Please" I answered.

Tuuttt... Tuuuuut...

The connection suddenly went dead, soon the cellphone turned off, running out of battery power. "fuffft"

After walking around the old town, and Mozart's house, we immediately had dinner and went straight back to the Loft, our tired feet were relaxing enjoying the beautiful view. "Yura, do you have a plug cable like this?" I asked while showing the bottom of the cellphone that I found in the bag.

"I only have this." While pointing out the same plug cable as mine. I then reached into the contents of the bag again, there was a wallet with several cards, and several bills, and there was a box containing a women's ring inside with a slightly old-fashioned style and beautiful diamonds in the middle. "Yura, we have to find the owner immediately before we leave tomorrow morning." I said panicked. "The stuff inside looks like it's valuable."

"But how, sis. We can't even activate the owner's cellphone." Yura replied.

"I'm too tired to go outside, we'll try to activate it before we go," I said then, tidying back the contents of the waist bag and storing it in my backpack.

A troubled morning in Salzburg. Yura and I went around shop after shop just looking for the correct cellphone plug. I felt like crying, when I saw all the shops were closed. The time was already showing 09.05 and the bus that will take us to Hallstatt will soon be leaving.

If we have to wait for the next departure that meant we had to wait for another 2 hours which would mess up our schedule, and Yura doesn't have enough time to wait any longer because we are planning to go and not stay in Hallstatt.

"Sis, all the new shops will open at 10:00, while we have to go immediately." said Yura anxiously.

"Never mind, it seems there are no more options for us at the moment. We will go, and will contact the owner of this bag when we return." I said resignedly as I walked towards the bus station.

"Hopefully, we will still have time to return it," said Yura.
