Miranda P.O.V. After we had arrived back at Wolvesville the utopia that our pack lived I carried Elise into our pack's state of the art hospital and laid her down on a hospital bed where Elise laid in a temporary coma for about a week and three days then I walked over to the far wall and grabbed a medical uniform put it on and did my hair up into a bun while looking at the mirror then I walked back over to the hospital bed hooked an IV into her left arm so that I can monitor her heatbeat as well her other important vitals after I had made sure that Elise was hooked up as well as comfortable I then took a seat in the chair that was to the left of the bed and grabbed the book that I've been reading as of lately Legend Of The White Werewolf Book 1 by Crystal Dawn after reading about three more chapters of The White Werewolf I looked over at the bed and saw that Elise was awake and was currently streching from the events of the last week and the subsequent three days that followed I made my presence known by stating Good Morning Elise which made her freeze as well as tense up and turn her head towards me and once she saw that it was just me she said Good Morning Miranda she then looked around her surroundings and said um Miranda where am I and I replied with a smile your in the Wolvesville Urgent Care sweetling she must have noticed that there was an IV in her left arm and said why do I have an IV in my left arm and I replied so that I can monitor you because reseting someone's ribs is a very delicate procedure sweetling and besides you blacked out back in the forest before I brought you here 10 days ago and after I had laid you down the hospital bed your body had shutdown and you had fallen into a healing coma for about week and 10 days she said how long will I be kept in this Hospital and I replied about a week depending on how your recovery goes sweetheart I then stood up from the chair that I had been reading in and walked over to my swivel chair sat down and scooted over to the bed and grabbed the clipboard that was attached to the bed and said alright I'm going to give you a full body checkup alright first I took my stethoscope off from my neck and then stood up and walked over to the bed and then I put my stethoscope to her chest and said now I need you to take a few deep breaths okay to which she replied back alright and so she gave a deep breath and then another while I was listening to her heart I heard another heartbeat coming from inside Elise's stomach and I said Elise why do I hear two heartbeats and she replied on the verge of tears I'm pregnant by way of my boyfriend and I said after I'm done examing you I'll go get the ultrasound machine and bring it back here so that I can check on your baby and she said okay then I moved it around to her back and said again which she did and after a few minutes I had finished my observation and walked back to my swivel chair and wrote down on the clipboard patient is breathing very shallow breaths which was understandable given the current circumstances I then used the hard rubber hammer and tested her reflexes then wrote back on my clipboard patient's reflexes are good I then stood up and set the clipboard on my swivel chair and then walked over to the supply cupboard and grabbed a pair of disposable letex gloves and walked back over to the bed I noticed that Elise had backed all way up until her back had smacked into the headboard of the bed and was currently cowering in fear which made me very worried so I walked over to the bed and sat down on it so I said in a soft and sweet voice Elise you don't have be afraid I won't hurt you okay little pup which made her look at me confused and said did you just call my little pup and I replied yes I did is that bad and she said no it isn't which I said alright sweetie now please lay down on the bed on your back which she did and I pulled the leaf of the bed out so that Elise had somewhere to put her feet I then said I'm going to un-button your shirt is that alright and Elise said that is fine Miranda I then unbuttoned her shirt and once that was done I opened her shirt so that I could check out her left rib-cage to see how it's doing today after a week and ten days of you being comatose while I was looking at Elise's chest I happened to notice that the entirety of her chest was covered with scars and cuts some looked old while most of the rest looked fresh with blood and puss oozing from some of the freshest cuts which made me frown which was a mixture of anger and disgust I looked up at Elise and said slighty angry/shocked who did this to you Elise and she replied simply my stepfather did all of this I then said Elise i'm going to need you to turn around so that I may look at it and Elise said rather reluctantly you're not going to like what you see Miranda and I replied with a chuckle honey I've been alive for five hundred and fifty years I've seen it all and then some which Elise said well I tried to warn you then she turned around so that her back was facing me and she was facing the white wall of the room when I was able to see her back I noticed that her back was covered in bloody welts that were made by a whip as I continued my examination of her back I found what looked like a brand that you normally see on cattle which was located near her butt I looked at Elise and said who whipped and branded you and she said my mother then made a note that as soon as I could I was going to get Elise away from those horrible people I then grabbed my clipboard and wrote patient has suffered extensive physical abuse from current legal guardians and then I said Elise now comes the most uncomfortable part I'm going to have to un-zip your pants okay and she said nervously okay Miranda I then unzipped the young woman's pants and when I saw her female member I licked my lips and thought Elise you would have made a wonderful partner in the future if hadn't been already been married to my wonderful wife and co-mother of my two daughters Elise and Daphne also if Elise didn't happen being one of my daughters and my youngest daughter at that happened to be laying on the hospital bed in front of me. After examing her stomach and giving a once over her female member and down her legs to her feet I zipped back up her pants and wrote on the clipboard once more saying patient is about nine months pregnant and will likely give birth anytime soon and then I looked back at Elise and said beside the cuts and scars on your frontside as well as the whip-lashes and brand mark on your backside your body lookes realitively healthy as well as your baby is very healthy I was about to walk out of the room to go and find the ultrasound machine when Elise said Oh Shit which made me spin around on my heels I then walked quickly back over to Elise's side and said what's wrong pup and she said My water just broke rather hysterically and I said okay just calm down I'm going to get some of the other nurses to help me with delivering your baby and she said alright but hurry back please and I said I will just hold on honey and Elise said I will try to then I sprinted out of the room and ran down the hallways. Since It was 12:30 and I knew that the on-duty nurses were probably eating their lunch in the cafe so that where I ran to once I arrived there I must have looked like a mess because my best friend Samantha who also happened to be my boss walked up to me and said where's the fire Miranda and I said once I was able to catch my breath the girl Elise that we brought back with us 10 days ago is nine months pregnant and her water just broke since it has been a long time since I last delivered a baby a werewolf human hybrid or a pure human baby so I need all the help that I can get to which Samantha said Miranda relax we will help you she looked at where the others were sitting and said come on girls she said to the four other women that were sitting at the table Samantha had been eating at before I arrived which they stood up and walked over to where Samantha and I stood I motioned for Katniss to follow to medical supply closet so that would could take in private once inside the closet and the door had been locked behind us Kat crossed her arms and said Miranda what are you hiding and I said that girl that I had brought back last week Elise is one of our daughters that was taken from us just days after they had been born while you had been passed out from over-working yourself during the delivery process at which point Kat had unshed tears running down her face and she said Mir what are we going to do we obviously can't send her back to those horrid people and I said You know I was thinking that we simply take her away from those horrible people and back into our lives but I must stress this we aren't going to tell her that you are her other mother until the time is right so until then you will be the happy going and loving dotting aunt of her and don't worry we will find our oldest daughter someday after we had finished discussing our plan Kat and I walked out of supply closet and towards the others I then said follow me at which I took off sprinting again back to Elise's room. After dodging other patients maintence workers gurrneys medical supplies etc. Once I arrived at Elise's room I walked in and saw that she was laying on her back withering in pain and sweating alot at this moment Samantha along with the four of the other nurses who were all dressed in their scrubs arrived in the doorway Samantha said alright so I'm going to need you Candance she pointed to the female werewolf/human hybrid who stood on my far left I need you to go sit next to Elise and give her comfort and support since she looks very scared not that I blame her Sam then look to my far right and said Katniss who is also a werewolf/human hybrid I need you to get the supplies ready which she said they are already set up Sam which Sam said wow your good and she flipped her hair behind her head and she said I know Sam looked behind me and motioned for the remaining werewolf/human hybrid named who's name is Raven and said Raven I need you to go to the main supply closet and grab some wash cloths and towels which Raven said yes ma'am Raven left the room and then Samantha looked at me and said Miranda I need you to see how far along Elise is so I walked over to Elise who looked up through the pain and Said Miranda is that you and I replied it's me sweetheart she then looked around the room and must have noticed Sam, Raven, Candance, and Katniss, because she said Miranda who are these other women and I made the quick introduction by first pointing at Sam and said this is my best friend/boss Samantha who smiled and waved saying pleased to offically meet you Elise I then pointed at Candance who was standing on left side of her and said this is Samantha's younger sister Candance who said Pleased to meet you Elise then I pointed to my right where Katniss was cleaning off the supplies that we might need I said this is Katniss who is my little sister who looked up from cleaning the supplies and said in her adopted french accent Bonjour Elise and then I pointed to Raven who had just arrived back from the main supply closet and said and this is raven Candance's daughter and Samantha's niece who had walked closer to the bed and said Hallo frauline Elise I then said with a giggle now with introductions out of the way let's deliver a baby I then bent down so that I was close to her female member and before I could say anything Elise said I just felt a contraction hit and I said alright next time you feel a contraction you're going to have to push Elise okay which she said okay Miranda after about fifteen minutes Elise said I felt another contraction and then I said okay start pushing if you need a break just let one of us know and we will let you rest until the next contraction okay which Elise said okay then I said alright Elise on the count of three start pushing okay she replied back okay I then started the countdown three two one push after a few minutes of pushing Elise collapsed back onto the bed and was panting really heard I then said your doing great Elise I then grabbed a wash cloth and dipped into a washbin that was filled with cold water and then I handed it to Candance who put it on Elise's forehead and wiped away the many beads of sweat that was driping down her forehead another fifteen minutes later Elise pushed again and I said from in between her legs I see a head keep pushing Elise which she said I can't i'm so weak which made Katniss walk over to her and then she raised her hand and slapped her across the face with her left gloved hand that left a red mark on her right cheek the slap was so loud that it echoed throughout the room and hallway which made Elise snap at her and said what in the bloody hell was that for and Katniss replied that is for almost giving up on your baby because if you give up then your child or you or both of you will die so please just push your almost done Katniss then walked over to the sink and leaned against it I looked briefly and said Elise are you okay and she said I'm fine Miranda then another fifteen minutes passed then Elise had a very big contraction so I said push Elise with everything you got and she did after a few minutes of pushing I was able to get a hold of the little babe's feet and pulled while Elise pushed and after a few more minutes of pushing and pulling back and forth the room was filled with the sound of a babe's piercing cry that reverberated thoughout the room I then looked at Raven and said Raven cut the umbilical cord she walked over to the crying baby and cut the cord with a pair of scissors and after she was done I was about to hand the baby over to Elise when she let a sound of pain which made me rush over to her and said Elise what's wrong and she said I'm having another contraction I said with wide eyes and looked at the other girls and said there's another one coming so be ready which they nodded I then got back into position to recive the next one after about another two hours the room was filled with the cry of another babe Raven then walked back over to where the umbilical cord was and cut it with a new pair of scissors and then I then handed both of Elise's children to Candance and Katniss who took the babies over to their respective sinks Candance washed the oldest one while Katniss washed the youngest one after the two of them finished washing them they then wrapped the children up into two pink towels and they both brought the two little girls over to where I was by the scales and I weighed them the oldest one weighed in at 8.2 pounds while the youngest one weighed about 6.7 pounds I then wrote down their weight on my clipboard and then I grabbed the two bundles and carried the twins to their mother who was semi sitting up in the bed and handed them to her with a huge smile on my face and said congradulations Elise you're now a proud mommy of two little girls I said seriously do you have any names for your little girls she said just two and I said what it is it and she replied with a huge smile on her face my oldest daughter will be named Miranda after the women that saved me from certain death in the forest 10 days ago I sat down on the bed and said you don't have to name one after me if you don't want to and she said I insist and I replied okay I'm honored to be your oldest daughter's namesake I then said what about the youngest one and she replied how about Katniss after the women that helped me to not give up on my bundles of joy and Katniss replied with a smile this is a great honor and i'm sorry I slapped you and Elise said don't worry about it because that slap was all I needed to continue to keep fighting to get my two girls out alive and safe I walked over to the wastebin and threw away my gloves and scrubs and smiled down at Elise then I became stoic and said Elise you didn't know this but after I brought you here you laid in a coma for over a week and in that time I was able to adopt you so that you won't ever have to go back home where you will be brutalized by two parents that only see you as a slave/cattle what do you say which she replied I love that wait what do I call you and I replied with a giggle you can call me mom, mommi, mamuska, momma or Miranda it doesn't matter to me baby girl which made her smile and wrap me up in a giant bear hug and said I love you Momma and I said I love you to baby Elise then motioned for Katniss to come over and said would you like to hold your nieces and she said I would love to  hold them I then handed Miranda and Katniss to their Aunt Katniss I then said Elise do you have any idea for godparents and she motioned for Candance to come over and said Candance I would like you to be Miranda and Katniss's godmother Candance said with tears of joy I gladly accept this honor, and then Elise motioned for Sam to come over to the bed and Elise said Sam I would like to make you the twins grandmother because without you and your team then my babies wouldn't be here Sam answered with tears I accept, then finally Elise motioned for Raven to come over and said Raven I appoint you as the twins other godmother Raven's response was she hugged Elise and said I accept I already adore them the rest of the day we spent time with the new mother and her babies.
