I arrive home, my eyes looking empty, I was like an empty puppet. I put on some music, "What song should I put on? Hmmm. Let's listen to 'Welcome to My life' Yeah, that's a good one."
I sit down on my couch and chug down my first beer, "I hope she's alright."
I say to myself as I drink another beer. I stare out my window and see an image in my head of a beautiful woman with a pretty smile, brown eyes and red soft lips, "Fuck her…. Just have to keep moving forward."
I say with tears in my eyes as I drink another bottle. After about twelve beers I pass out.
The next morning
I wake up, with an intense headache and beer cans all over the floor, "Fuck, Hangover. Water! I need to drink water."
I say to myself whilst I struggle to walk to the kitchen to get myself some water. I look over to the couch and think, "Urgh, I'm stupid. I'm going to have to clean up again."
After cleaning up, I drink some more water and take a shower.
I try ringing Celia again and, "Hey, It's Celia."
I stare at the ceiling, feeling relieved, I almost tear up, "It's Rozale, are you okay? What happened?"
She sighs and says, "Let's go out tomorrow? I want to get away from this place."
I say, "Y-Yeah…. S-sure, I'm free whenever… We'll meet up at the café..?"
She giggles and says, "Yeah, how about 4pm?"
I smile gently, "Sounds good!"
I put on my blue jean jacket and walk out to the grocery store, "I should probably also get a new jacket. I'll do that later."
I buy some canned sardines and some cat toys. I take the bus to the outskirts of the city. I walk to the abandoned wooden house and feed the cats, I pet them and lay down the toys, suddenly I hear a hissing noise behind me. It's a new kitten. I try to calm it down and feed it a sardine, but it bites my hand. I quickly pull away and look at my hand, I slowly start bleeding. I cover my hand and bite my tongue. I put a sardine down in front of the new kitten, in hopes of it eating.
I walk over to the back of the house and wash my hand in the lake. I see two ducks swimming around, I look at them, smiling gently, "Heh, at least they're not alone. I'll take care of the kittens."
I smile warmly at the view and go back to the kittens. I play with them and try to feed the new kitten again, still no luck.
