A Stolen Wish

If I had one wish

I'd want you to come home.

To mommy and daddy,

So that we're no longer alone.

To have our own house,

And raise you just right.

To send you to school,

And then tuck you in at night.

To go on adventures,

And grocery trips.

To mess with daddy,

And watch him throw fits.

To know what you'd look like,

And know how you'd sound.

If I had a single wish...

It would be to have you around.
